I couldn't find anything on F.A.C.T.net about Santeria. For those who are unfamiliar with it, it is an Afro-Cuban Religion that uses animal sacrafice to please certain dieties. The blood of the sacraficed animal is supposed to bring a person good luck with regard to love, happiness, and health. They worship what christians would call "false gods" and they cloak themselves with privacy and do not allow non initiates to participate in their ceremonies. So, would this be considered a cult? |

Just because Christians regard the Santeros' Gods as false ones does not make it so. |
