I have run across some followers of a church that live commune style with other members of their church. They do not meet in a church building but in the house that they live. They travel by bike and bus and do not own cars. Married men wear long beards and women wear skirts and blouses that are extremely modest and both men and women wear only natural dye colors such as earth tones. I believe they make their living to pay rent by doing odd jobs. They move around alot and visit fellow members. None of those that attend have the title 'pastor' but the following is ruled as a group, or I believe by them men withing the group of each single group. Does anyone have any information about them? Has anyone else heard of this group? What is their name? |

I also forgot to add that they will not tell you what their last name is- at least those I met. I think they have 'new names' upon their conversion too. |

I was wondering if this group is from the group in Washington state called the Hutterites? They live in a commune and all their monies are combined. It is mostly in eastern Washington and Montana. They are a simple group in no relation to the 2x2 group. |
