Here's some ideas used and new. Perhaps Phil Bonnasso could lead this school in Jacksonville. 1. State that the ministry will be held more accountable to independent and exterior organizations such as the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability, but never actually sign up. Just tell people about it. 2. Tell people the books are being audited, but neglect to state that it is not a forensic audit and that you have accepted only one of two reports. 3. Don't make the audited financials available publically which is a requirement of ECFA membership, anyway. 4. Ignore criticisms, appeals and helpful suggestions from former members 5. Revise church history and make vague references to it 6. Appoint Ministry team and policy team members to contact dissenters and outside critics for friendly conversations that take up time and glean useless information. 7. Allow churches that dissent to leave quietly. Obviously don’t publish the bad news as when churches sign up 8. Let the bad apples in the most senior leadership slink away quietly to come back later and give those who won't be back golden handshakes to make sure they keep it that way 9. Leave apostolic ministry and open a paintball business. Less stress and more adrenaline. 10. Drag things out as long as possible. The more time the more people no longer care. 11. Leak communiques. They foster better cvommunication amongst churches |
