CARMAN: Over 3,000 posts and more than 250 topics...what for? Does anyone want to tell me what has been accomplished here for eternal good? I know that you little shunners read my posts so get off your high horse and respond. here's what I have learned here: Exactly what I always knew: That what passes as the body of Christ is a total sham and totally worthless to a lost and dying world. That doctrines and prophecies and favorites are more inportant than the fruits of the spirit and true wisdom. That most are selective and differential about accepting their brothers and sisters in the Lord: that those who say that they don't judge are the MOST judgemental themselves. that most "christ-ians" still don't know how to forgive. That most christians don't appreciaet the fire and pressure that God sends through those that buffet them. That most Christian women are still as cliquish and peevish since the beginning of time.( and gossippy). That most are still selective about what messge they recieve and who sends it. That those who accuse others of manipulation and judgement are still just as guilty. That most of the people who have posted here , when all was said and done, had ulterior motives. That most are picky in who they minister to. That Carman, who is a child of God doesnt come here and He has moved on in serving the Lord. Seems Like God is able to keep Him without any human's help. I am just wondering what anyone else has gotten from being here. |

Witness say: That most Christian women are still as cliquish and peevish since the beginning of time.( and gossippy). WOW, that is quite the statement isn't it. Though I find truth in that, men are just as guilty, they just don't have the hots for Carmen. You know I remember when I was a teen and Carmen first came onto the scene. Man, we just thought what a great story teller he is. He had that "Sunday's on it's Way" song and we would go over to our youth pastors house and listen to that song with the lights out-it was so cool then flash the lights on as Jesus kicked Satan in the head. Oh, but how times change don't they. The simplicity of the ministry get tangled up in the money making business and it all goes down hill from there. R |

Dear Rachel: Thanks for response and I am sorry for how you were treated elsewhere. I have lost many friends to death and cancer. I have been healed sometimes from some things but not all things. I have lived a lifetime with much pain but in that , all that I could ever accomplish has been by the strength of God. i appreciate the smallest things in life. The thing is, people get more caught up in doctrines and forget the kindness of the Lord and simply do not know how to minister to the hurting. Or they just simply dismiss them as it is too much bother. As far as Carman is concerned he still rocks. he too is human like us and we are all be worked on. Yes men can be gossippy and excuse me, ****Y* as most. Women still have it worse in society and that carries over into the religious world as well. In the body of Christ we are to respect and esteem each other as greater than ourselves. Thanks for your response. Your are fortunate that your mom knew Jesus and you got to enjoy her so much while she was here. I havent had that experience with my family. witness |

Thank you for your response witness and I agree with you about the doctrines!. I can handle the bad treatment despite what someone said I am not going to kill myself! But you know Carmen started out on the right foot sometimes people just get tripped up... (Message edited by rachelengland on January 08, 2007) |
