I'm not sure when all these posts about Carman ended. But as I began to read them, I began to cry and wonder, how many of you know Carman personally?
Well, I do know him and his mom. I used to know them when I was going to Oral Roberts University.
You see I'm handicappied, I have Cerebal Palsy. I first met Carman June 18, 1991 backstage at a concert. He took time to personally lay hands on me and pray for me just because I said God told me to tell him to. Even though he was tired and probaly resting in his bus, he came to pray for. There wasn't group, it was just me, my friend, David Young (Carman's road manager at the time) and Carman.
The next summer I started attending Oral Roberts University. Being miles away from home, I had to choose a new church, many of my new friends went to Higher D so I did. It was Carman's home church. He remembered me and I never once walked up to him at church, yet whenever he saw me he would come and give me a hug or a pat on back, ask me how I was doing.
A year later he had a casting for his video 1955. Although hundreds of people applied, Carman and his ministry staff made sure I was in the video. Being handicapped this was a big deal to me, he didn't care that I was handicapped, he still let me be in his video.
When I'm around him I feel the presence of God so strong, I've never met another human being where I've felt the presence of God so strongly.
And as far as his mom goes she is a very nice lady, she always talked to me and gave me a hug.
So before you go judging people maybe you should realize there's only one Judge and that is JESUS CHRIST.
If Carman does do anything wrong keep in mind he is human and that between him and God not him and everyone else. As long as we are in the flesh we all are going to sin, I don't care who you are, unless one are one of the Trinity.
Keep in mind we all sin and fall short of the glory of God each and every day whether we want to admit it or not. It's only by God's grace and mercy we are saved.
So the next time you go judging Carman or anyone else, try pulling the plank out of your own eye first. |

Hello and welcome Jesus Princess.
Thank you for your testimony, it was needed.
I got pulled into this mess some 3 years ago.
However, God is faithful and in October my newly formed family and I attened a Carman concert here and were very blessed by the Presence of the Holy Spirit.
My greatest gift and is that our whole family ( My new husband, my step son, my 21 yr old daughter and my 11 yr old son) all went up together to re-dedicate our lives to the Lord.
My stepson who lost his mom about 2 yrs ago, loved the bracelet which was taken away at school. He went to the teacher and witnessed to her and got his bracelet back.
Anyway, I find that God will use who will, when He will, and where He will to help us and bless us.

I stand behind my comment. Look it up on the internet. Carman dated Rose, mario's wife before they got married. He claimed he would not marry her because she wasn't a virgin. Then he takes her from Mario.
Now Mario is telling youngsters about holiness and sex on TBN.
Sorry to bust your bubble. I too loved Carman in the 90's . A real warrior for the Lord but flawed like all of us. Th difference is he's in ministry and has destroyed his credibility. |

After reading your above posts I felt that I must inform you of the following "TRUTHS FROM THE BOOK OF C." These TRUTHS were taken from posts by members of the paid-chat site as well as others who blindly support C.
1. C can do no wrong. If he ever did he had to do it for the benefit of the whole.
2. If anyone questions C or any of his followers, they are attacking him and or them.
3. C is Gods gift to humankind.
4. C is a prophet sent from above.
5. ETC, etc, etc.
These are but a few. Perhaps one can best understand where some are coming from by reading an earlier post by witness4god. I'm not sure they intended to apply it to everyone, however, sometimes we indirectly state the truth without the intent of doing so. I have included it in my following post on this venue.

Do we as saints truly know it?
Here are some signs:
People practice witchcraft in the church as thoughtlessly as they do in everyday life. It is an abomination to God when it is practiced in any arena, but more especially when we practice it among one another in the family of God.
Jesus is the head of His body, the called-out-ones. The Holy Spirit is His administrator. Those who follow Jesus are obedient to His Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit establishes the Kingdom of God. It can never be established by the hand of self-strength and the practice of witchcraft.
The flesh nature of man is controlling and manipulative--thus, it engages in the practice of witchcraft. When what you have is headed by man (or woman), it will always be under the rule of witchcraft--men building their own kingdoms under the pretext of being the Kingdom of God.
1.When men assume headship over Christ's body and people submit to that false headship, the flesh rather than the Spirit of Jesus is operating. The fact that such terms as ambition, impatience, competition, success, promotion, contention, contrariness, argumentativeness, divisiveness, and unyieldedness are commonplace among those who rule the churches and abide in them is evidence enough that they are operating in the flesh.

2. Self-seeking people who rule the churches are typically fueled by the need to increase themselves in power, position, riches, and domination.
3.They bind people to their own laws and phony doctrines.
4. They build their identities around their names, positions, clerical collars, titles, denominations, traditions, doctrines, and heritage.
5. Some of those self-seeking people who rule the churches may be insecure control addicts who need to maintain a sense of order in their lives to feel safe.
6.Of all of these ways in which we practice witchcraft in the churches--self-aggrandizement, hidden agendas, appeals for money, rage, flattery, possessiveness, hype, performance, and false assurance of salvation--legalism is by far the more cunning enemy to the body of Christ.
They usually use suspicion and turn people against each other. They like to condemn and promote strife. They twist scriptures and flasely accuse others. They like to control who talks to whom and what they say.
They haven't have some form of power however it is not power that sets people free but points away from Jesus and his headship and onto themselves. They do not recognize the New Covenant but prefer the death of the Old Testament. God's Word is used to bring death rather than life. Of course the devil knows Scripture better than anyone.
They stop the flow of the Spirit by attacking any type of true ministry among teh saints or prayer.
Wherever they are operating there is a sense of heaviness and oppression.

I believe that witness4god, in their above post, did well in their definition. However, I'm not sure that they applied it to all the right people.

I see... Mario & Rose are innocent. Rose had nothing to do with leaving Mario. Guess what? Mario is married to Mechelle again because of all this mess.. just maybe God had a plan? The real truth is we all sin. Some people get to do it in front of the World. I do it in the closet. How about you? Lets try and keep it real. |
