Rules of engagement: notice that this document doesn't tell anyone's sin "confessions" from Indianapolis. Some of the leaders, members, and, ahem, former members, in Indy have embarassing "confessions" known by former members. No one criticizing the Church in Indianapolis has gone there, that can't be said for Mike Peters and his cohorts. Notice to Former members of "CII": when you post your story, you will be slandered, vilified, and any known "confessions" will be posted. They will attempt to blackmail you into silence. Be of good cheer, for in the same way so have they persecuted those sent before you. | ||

It is amusing to me that these men had to chase Dennis down and leave this note on the car. It is almost like you can't leave without being kicked out. Yes, danrepent, it's another way of saying..."You CAN'T quit US! WE FIRED YOU! And once again their remark about "ANY TRUE DISCIPLE" is an arrogant finger pointing to themselves, and a subtle mind control tactic telling the listener, that IF you are accepted ANYWHERE else, THEY AREN'T TRUE DISCIPLES LIKE US! | ||

(MIKE PETERS FROM THE BEGINNING, WOW!) - Posted for Gene Hello: My name is Gene Fredette and I was a member at the So. Burlington church where Mike preached and can testify that there was no church split that led him to leave. If anyone hurt that church it was Mike himself. He was annoyed with certain brethren who would not give in to him; especially the older members and denounced the congregation. In his opinion the church had lost its candlestick in heaven and then convinced several young people to leave with him. He stole and brainwashed young energetic Christians and all but killed this loving family..He left the church to die. I personally was glad to see him go. Many of his victims of his coercive and strong-arm tactics felt relief also and as far as I know he himself is worthy of disfellowship from the churches of Christ in South Burlington. There was no split during his rule at this congregation and the only thing close to the truth was over a former member named Guido who married a daughter of an elder against the wishes of the majority of the church because he was not scripturally divorced from his first wife. This happened before Mike was ever thought of preaching there and only resulted in differences of opinion and not a split. The congregation survived that test and when Mike came along he ruined the congregation with this lust for control, pride and arrogance. As far as what I can see from all of the victims he has left in his wake up to now; he has not changed his ways... You may post this email if you like. I have nothing to hide. It has almost been almost a year since this thing started. Has anyone gone back and re-read the first posts. They are amazing in light of what we know and have seen from this group up to now. But, you should be more suspicious of those who plaster their faces all over their books and "sell" truth, than you should be about those who do no recruiting, will not take anyone's money, and only want to build His People up, where they live, to love more and honor Him more effectively. But, I know that seems odd to folks who have only had modern "hero worship" religion to grow up on, and know no different. But, as I said, you certainly had no problem communicating, as far as I can tell. And another 20 letters have come in since I started to write this one, so I'm thinking we're not that hard to talk to. :-) He hasn't responded whether there's a group in Columbus. Right now I'm still leery, due to Maleman's brother's actions and the snide, condescending tone of this response. This guy never 'introduces' himself anywhere on their website.
