I am thankful for...
Never again to tramp around a fenced-in horse pasture pretending I am one with an image on a card stuck to a fence.

Never again sleep on the floor in a horse arena with 1000 other people squirming for space and breathable air.

Never again to have to choose between bad food and really bad food at the open air restaurant.

Never again having to listen to shallow teachers pontificate concepts of which they are only remotely aware.

Never again having to wait hours for the featured speaker of an event to get around to showing up.

Never again having to listen to a mass sales presentation as to why I should even remotely consider buying old-looking RSE caps and T-shirts at premium prices.

Never again having to get up at 4 AM so that I can sit in the rain in a field with 1000 other people facing the east and looking for grids while pretending this is important stuff.

Never again having to spend thousands of dollars to go to an event that if I don't go I will be thrown into the dumpster of non-current students.

Never again having to listen to red guards yell at peopleabout focus as they stumble through the rain blindfolded in search of an image.

I am grateful for freedom of thought, freedom from techniques, freedom from delusional stories about what it was like 35K years ago, freedom from having to shower in the freezing temperatures outside and most of all freedom from wondering why the people in JZs Big House don't seem to feel the need to sloch around in the rain themselves.

Go, ITZ !!!!

THANKS FOR THE HEARTY LAUGH !!!!

Words of TRUTH spoken with a light heart.

More comments later...I'm enjoying a Thanks Giving Day without any fancy meal or company. My first adult T-Day for ME...just hanging around, unpacking in my new house, with no obligations. It's wonderful ! Told the extended family - see ya at Christmas, and I'll feed you then, LOL !

Back to boxes....giggling the whole way. You're awesome, ITZ ! You SAID what so many students dared ONLY to THINK !
