I had been with their movement 'the foundation for meditative studies' for 15 years and had been in their residency program twice and was involved in previous mastery courses before the current one.
I knew to leave for it was more being run by Penny who is on crack and extremely violent. Their are regular severe beatings going on within the residency program and it is creeping into the outer circle.
It has been spoken in the earlier years that the fastest way to work through soul issues so one can enlighten is to be physically beaten, next is to be screamed at by Penny. Mafu rarely does it because people started leaving.
Ocassionally the beatings leak out to the general public. Penny is very foul mouthed and is an ordained Swami by Muktanandas sucessor Nityananda.
When I left, the nightmares with Penny coming into my dreams to continue holding my mind saying if I didn' t return she would continue attacking me psychically and it follows me into the day.
I have spoken to many others who have left who say they are haunted by her as well. They have told their inner core Mastery students that they will die if they ever leave the Mastery course. Mafu and Penny are very suductive and it is easy to get caught up.
They are always raising money. Mafu empowered penny to work with us in our dreamstates to help work through issues and she has become increasingly mad through her drug abuse and is very scary and when she is on she can be seductively sweet and is a master at manipulation and mind control.
It is a worshipping cult where there is bowing and strict obedience if you are in their residency or mastery course and some peole are buying into that they will be beat to assist them to enlighten which is mostly behind closed doors.
Please be careful, for they do not let go once you commit. They are in Ashland Oregon. their ashram is Paramatmandharma.

Just for more info to help others this is a very sex based cult where penny has slept with many of the residents and some students and Mafu makes out with some of the woman mostly in his chambers. I was one of them.
There is vodka and beer partys constantly in chambers when Mafu is in the body sometimes down in the temple. in the early 90's Mafu gave many of us at a party a form of LSD called magic mushrooms while everyone else was drinking and he says he is God, an illumed lord who has taken the body to help humanity!
They keep everyone confused and reality distorted with high teachings and low teachings in the name of God.
The cult is also very fear based of losing favor with Mafu or penny if they investigate their doubts. Everyone is just sweeping everything under the carpet...their true knowings that things are off.
Mafu has told us Penny is enlightened and she has been on antidepressants... coverup for crack. enlightenment is a master of love and needs no drugs.
Its all been rhetoric to keep the money coming in and the power over others lives going.
May this foundation built on lies purify and the truth be revealed and everyone freed!

The point of these post... I too was involved with this group... believe me, for years after I left, I was not willing to come forward or speak up. If you look around the internet you will find very few negative post from this group... it truly is a very MIND CONTROLLING group.
It becomes very confusing when you experience such LOVE from the Mafu the 2nd personality of the Channel Penyy Torres... and the WATCH and SEE how the Channel EXPRESSES her enlightenment.
OF course, there are men on death role that some would identify the same way.
It is difficlt to understand how the wisdom comes from the mouth of such a foul mouthed human.
Belive me, I have never cussed in my life... the RATH that I received from this chanlles included every nasty word you can imagine... and of course told I was the Devil.
It seems to me, that the State of Oregon should investigate this organization... particularly since GRANTS are being awared for the Oregon Tiger Sancuary... the residents are treated like SLAVES to live there.
There is lots of sex, drugs, and meditation happening there.
They place a Happy Face on the great darkness that goes on in this group.
If you look at the web site, you will see Happiness and Joy and inspiration words.... it is a bit much considering the darkness that is there.
Anyone out there know anything about this goup.? |

I was going to have these removed but perhaps it is good to leave them alone.
As far as JZ being the FIRST Chirst in History... don't worry... Penny has already claimed the title and also named others as equial.. but their deal is going BEYOND a measley little Christ...

I found it AMAZING that if either of these being Mafu or Ramth were Liget... then why did they seem to discredit each other? BIG EGOS of the Lords of the Wind. Smile.
Seems these LORDS do not like to SHARE the CENTER STAGE with anyone... as it is. Smile.
My God is better than yours... it is all quite sad to watch.
If these groups were truly intersted in the WORLD... then why not JOIN and UNIFY a MESSAGE of Peace.

No worries, secrets. It's just that the Latrinis material represents quite a bit of creative work on the part of the actual author, so we'd like to give credit where credit is due.
The Cosmic Fool website has served its original purpose. Those of us Lazaris believers who contributed there have had our say, and it's time to move on for us.
We are always open to hosting an ongoing dialogue about cults, psychological coersion, undue influence, indoctrination, or creative mockery of "Sacred Cows", etc.
We have hosted a discussion about Mafu, at one time it seemed to be the only one on the net. That came about as a result of someone confusing Peny North of Concept/Synergy, the Lazaris Cult with the Penny who claims to channel Mafu.
We are planning on upgrading the message board software on the Cosmic Fool board, as we are committed to maintaining the information on the site forever if possible. If you or anyone is interested in moderating a new discussion there, we are open to negotiating that.
We are not open to moderating the site ourselves any longer, however. We are long since over discussing "Lazaris", and have moved on to other interests and endeavors, although we will re-open the discussion should any new information become available.
I'm very happy to see this discussion about Mafu/Penny Torres cult. Good for you for getting the word out. I know from experience that it isn't always an easy thing to do, but definitely worth it in the long run. Let us know how and if we can support your efforts! |

For me, I am just about done with my writing...
I just wanted to POST about this group because in this Mafu group... no one seems to have the courage to call a spade a spade...and be open and honest.
I noticed all the TIGER Post have been removed... as usual... FEAR or SHAME is present.
Where is the Self-Love when you have fear or shame?
These people live in FEAR and they HIDE from the truth... they cover up the sex, drugs and beatings.
It is time that all of these groups be held accountable for SELLING swamp land in LALA Land...or at least admit it was a scam.
The only people getting rich here in the name of god are these channels... yet, it has been spoken in these groups to move beyond the NEEDS of worldly things. Yea.
That teaching caused many to sell their homes, businesses and leave children behind in the name of God... to later be send away, with 100.00 in their pocket and living at the fate and hands of anyone who would open their doors to them. Now that is Manifesting Happiness and Joy.
I can look back over my many years with them and see the very subtle programming.
Particularly ALL THINGS are GOOD ENOUGHT To Be God... and if you DARE QUESTION... then YOU HAVE THE PROBLEM.
But if you lie to yourself... and KEEP QUIET... that real nasty COVERT behavior.... you are someway better or more illuminataed than others.

Secrets, what you're doing is a blessing to all of us! There is more value in someone like you standing up for yourself and sharing your process of leaving a vile cult than you might imagine.
The Cosmic Fool board gets a LOT of hits from people who are interested in Mafu. We've never been able to get the full story though, because no one has been courageous enough to speak up. I don't know if the visitors to CF are followers or critics of Mafu/Penny Torres, but there's been a stream of them showing up on our logs for quite some time now.
Creeps like Penny Torres and Jach Pursel have no more of a clue about who or what "God" might be than a goldfish does. But I realize that what you're saying is true, the followers are terrorized into believing that they do, and that they will have to risk the wrath of God should they stand up to these abusers.
I hope to live to see the day when this kind of conscious, deliberate, and mercenary indoctrination becomes illegal. These cult leaders need to serve some prison time, IMO. I am all too well aware of the intense amount of damage they cause due to our hosting of the CF site, and our own experiences.
Secrets, I hope you continue to speak up. You have my support and I'll assist you to every extent possible if you do. If you'd like to post on the CF board, just let me know, and we'll arrange to open it up for new registrations again. |

I have a very good life and simply do not have the time to get all caught up in these things.
I do like to occassional make my little post.
I post only because NO ONE... is very honest these days with self.
Out of Fear or whatever... but truly, we do have a right to question.
It is only by remaining silent that bad behavior is allowed to continue... looking the other way as someone is being beaten only teaches the beater that it is ok.
Yes, in the beginning days, I had some wonderful experiences with Mafu... he was a tool... a vision of myself for a while.
But, as the bible says..
If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.
I do not hate anyone... but I do ask that the behavior of the wicked be examined.
I wonder if Buddha or Jesus would be able to just look away and WATCH a Minister BEAT someone... and just brush it off and say it is their Karma?
Seems to me, this is JUSTIFICATION of actions... not the Ascension Beyond them.
I enjoyed your web site at Cosmicfool... it is wonderful to have places to post.... and SPEAK UP... for me... COVERT BEHAVIOUR of keeping these SECRETS in the name of God is not a very high thing to do.
