** I thought we could use this folder exclusively for recording funny pseudo scientific ideas taught at the Ranch. According to Ramtha, early man (i.e. Cro-Magnon) existed during the time of dinosaurs. At one event Ramtha was particularly graphic saying how early man was devoured by dinosaurs such as Tyrannosaurus Rex, and that the experience of being devoured was locked within the “cellular memory” of modern man. The problem is, early man never co-existed with the dinosaurs. In fact, millions of year separates the very last of the dinosaurs and the first human-like primates that appeared on the earth. Lucy never saw a dinosaur. A vast expanse of time, six million years precisely, separates the earliest humanoids from the cataclysms that wiped out the dinosaurs. Perhaps Ramtha watches too many Hollywood movies. |

This is something that nagged at me from the very start, and was actually my first red flag: JZ said that (this is going way back)in the beginning Ramtha appeared to her in 1978, in winter. After that, she started to channel; and it was said many times over the years that Ramtha was the first being to channel. Well, there is a discrepancy there. Jack Pursel, who claims to channel Lazaris, (still does), started in 1974. Do the math. Ramtha said he will lie to us, but geez...getting territorial over "who's first" ? |

On pseudoscience, with regard to WTBleep: "Okay, so it's a dumb movie, you might think, but what harm does it do? On its own, very little. But What the Bleep ... bears all the hallmarks of the new pseudo-sciences. For example, geologists have discovered a gap in the fossil record which makes it hard to explain how evolution worked at certain periods. The neo-creationists seize on this and claim it as 'proof' that evolution didn't happen at all. The New Agers do the same with the gaps in quantum physics. " http://skepdic.com/channel.html |
