Mathew, I found this information in a posting of yours elsewhere. Then there were the bad investment schemes. J.Z., while channeling, advised her students to invest in a company that is now known to be fraudulent, and whose owners are now serving prison time for business fraud. Many of her students went bankrupt investing in the scheme, including a friend of mine who lives in Seattle. When I think of all the good people J.Z. Knight has hoodwinked through the years my blood begins to boil. I read an article in Spectrum magazine a long time ago. From memory it stated that 100 couples went bankrupt due to purchasing gold that was recommended by Ramtha in the late 80's (after the earth changes predictions). I personally do not know anyone in that position. Could you elaborate on what you have posted above? Are you referring to Omega? |

Whatcha here... Curious to see what Mathew says... In the meanwhile, I will quickly comment that I THINK that particular --- one of many --- scam that went through RSE, was literally when people were told to buy GOLD COINS because they were going to get insanely costly and we'd all be gazillionaires. (Of course I am somewhat exaggerating here to insert some sad sense of humor) Unfortunately for some, they took the advice quite to heart and spent every bit of money they had buying up gold coins. I was told by another student (who is dead now), that I had about two weeks to buy the gold, or else. People mortgaged their homes, maxed out charge cards, spent all their cash. Then, other people were more modest in their approach and bought SOME gold, but didn't spent all they had, or more than they had (charge cards), on it. In any case, gold never went up until VERY recently, when it has gone up a little bit. Not all anything to become independently wealthy on. The message was that the USA dollar was going to go down to only 7 cents on a dollar, so our paper money would be worth nothing. But, gold would hold value and also increase in value mega times. Not that I don't have compassion for those who held faith in the Word of the Almighty Teacher...but...for all of the scams I have seen come and go through RSE or in Yelm (many, many) - I think it's greedy to put more money into anything than you are willing to lose. I bought gold, too. But, I was very reasonable about what I chose to invest. So now, I've made a SMALL amount of money on it. Had it tanked and I lost it all, it would not have ruined me. However, that does not address the TEACHER telling people to invest in certain scams. In honesty, I must say that I have personally heard "him" support and encourage investing in several scams. Omega is another one and Sea Water is another one I have thought about posting on. when I have time, I will. |

Yes, I'm referring to Omega. My friend from Seattle, like most everyone else in RSE, invested in Omega. In the above post I said he went bankrupt from investing in this false company, but that’s not true. I don’t know why I wrote that---a mistake on my part. Others surely went bankrupt. He was one of the few people I know who retained a sense of character while fully involved in RSE. Unlike most RSE students, he remained amiable, hardworking, comical, and didn’t continually try to correct my speech if I said something that was un-Ramtha like. That’s rare. Most RSE students make an ominous transformation. After time, a pall of darkness seems to fall over their personalities; they get fanatical, judgmental, and close minded to anything beyond their little sphere surrounding Ramtha. The last stage, is the power hunger---a desire to convert. |

There was one going around in the early 90's called Paymaster. The usual scenario prevailed. The initial investors got some money out and then lots of students got in on it as a consequence. Many students were also signing up as Herbalife Distributors. How many does one town need? Does anyone know exactly which scams were recommended by Ramtha/RSE? |

I was somewhat amazed to find that David Hudson, the "genius" behind the Ormus white powder scam, is still out there hucking his dust to any fool willing to buy it. Where's my money Dave? .|. I was there when he spoke at the Ranch, saying that his white powder is a form of gold that is injestable and bestows immortality. It's hard to estimate the massive amt. of money he grossed off the Ramtha community---a $1,000,000? Maybe we here at FACTNet should start a scam. We could buy cheap suits, get tacky hair cuts, white shoes, and travel around the country suckering New Agers. |

I remember hearing that he had a heart attack and couldn't go on with his project with the ORMUS white powder of gold that would make us all immortal and superpsychic in about 30 days !!!! He said he was taking it...and having all sorts of major mystical experiences. Sooooo, why did he have a heart attack, then ? (If he really did) Immortals don't have heart attacks. So, I understand, anyway, LOL. |

I think you mean a tachyon device that was made by Pedro, a student who gave physics lectures at the Master's Centre. It was a small white tube worn on a ribbon around the neck. There is no way of assessing any of the claims made for it. |

Wow, the mention of Pedro really brings back memories. He was the prototypical charlatan, the kind that wears the cheap suits, the fat ties, the white shoes and the greasy $8 haircut. I went to one of his speeches at the Master's Center, and listened as he tried to con everyone about his tackyon device. What a character. Supposedly, he was a college professor. Then he turned snake oil salesman, par excellance. I suppose a guy has to make a living somehow. |

Yes, Pedro does bring back memories. I never heard him speak, myself. Part of living elsewhere meant I didn't have the time to attend these "extracurricular classes", LOL. This also makes me remember something else - Val Valerian. He did a lot of writing. RSE sold his books, at least for a while. As far as I know, he was in the school in the early 90's and then left. There was more about him and I can't recall details, so I'll stop here ! |

Does anyone remember “The Breatharian” who breezed through Yelm? He claimed.... he did not eat food or even to sleep, that he fed off the air we breathed, He even carried around a newspaper article about his feats of amazing strength, and sold his DIY Breatharian books "personally signed" to an impressed audience. He disappeared from the Yelm scene as quickly as he arrived, I asked one of his women disciples what had become of this amazing man? Are you kidding she answered, I caught him in Lacey eating hamburgers.... and he split town. I kid you not. David |

Yes, I remember the inner earth theory. It was based on the idea that the earth was hallow, that civilizations lived underground, and that the Sun existed at the center of the earth. As for Joe Ault (soul mate #2) I think he changed his name to Barrel in the early 1990s some time. I could be wrong, though. |

Yeah, I think Ramtha called him Baryl Amin (Joe Ault). At a very recent event, "Ramtha" commented on JZ having had 12 partners in her life. I don't want to be judgmental, but that's not my path ! One might think all those men would feel used. How could one trust her when the line has been so long ? I don't know. I don't want to know ! Elsie...don't you know the Lizard Men think we're tasty morsels !? Where are the Lizard Women ? They really need to set these guys straight, cuz munching on humans is really pretty gross, I'd say. Chocolate is so much better. |

Yes whatchamacallit.. Where are the lizard women? Back home cooking up the humans I shouldn’t wonder.. I can hear their kids complaining “Oh no” not human again.. I am not a lizard basher but….. Never trust a lizard women, especially if they pretend to be a spiritual leader…. Chuckle.. David P.S. OOPPS... we really hijacked voidgate’s Thread.. oh, dear voidgate..... don't wanna hijack your thread ! the points ARE well made, though...MANY, MANY scams have gone through the yelm area, and as of 2005 they were still going through as i was approached by a woman about one that would just fix me. i don't need fixing. some of the scams posted on this thread have been very high profiled and affected many people- especially the few that were "rubberstamped" by the Teacher. but there were many others. as long as those people are so desperate for money, and vulnerable, they are easy prey, unfortunately. it's very sad, but the whole debacle of what goes on there, is also very sad, and maybe there will be an event, people will wise up and nobody will show up for the "march". |
