They could also get a million dollars from James Randi's million dollar challenge if they can provide proof of the paranormal. J.Z. Knight is a performance artist and so were the Ballards. Her school is just a huge con-job perpetrated under the precious umbrella of religious freedom. The public should be protected from con artists, religious or not shouldn't they? It is a terrible injustice for society to allow such audacious crimes to be perpetrated against the poor, the desperate, and the genuine seekers of truth that fall prey to these modern day vampires. Something must be done if not with federal then some sort of state legislation. I still think that the answer is to subject religious or “spiritual” organizations to the same laws that would apply to any business. Well, I can see a time when both the Oracles of Ramtha and Mafu are dead, and there will only the videos, dvd's, the books, and the ramblings of former students... sorta like the MSI group when their leader died. Now they come to this message board to ramble about the POWER of the Title of being Enlightened, vomit their mental masterbation about "How Great Thou Are... Personally" and yet remain Powerless and bicker about who is now in charge of the teaching of the Dead Guru.... Dead Guru's don't lie about the TRUTH of their self proclaimed enlightenment.... Why do people such as trainedobservor think that government needs to protect the people. Government is not for the people, it is for itself. It is the biggest hoax on the planet and makes RSE look like playing on the beach. I agree that when a company is delivering a shoddy product, something needs to be done and here's what it should be - expose them and vote with your feet and your pocketbook...leave and spread the word but please keep the government out of it and why not keep the government out of your head in the first place. This is the kind of thinking that makes people easy prey for the likes of JZ...thinking that Big Brother has the answers to protect them and set them free. JZ and the gov't are different versions of Big Brother that people fall for because they have made themselves so dis-empowered and small in the first place. Wake up trainedobservor...you're trading one con-man for another...you're still in RSE even if you've left because you still believe in the scam promoted by the wizard...the little guy behind the curtain stealing your money while pretending to be the expert and spinning a delusion so juicy that your imprisioned self salivates at the prospect of being fed another big fat juicy lie. By the way, I was at the Society for Ascension in North Carolina, the group founded by MSI...what a joke. It was run into the ground by a bunch of lazy talkers who know not even the slightest idea of what it means to live a "spititual" life. When people peg their truths on a leader they are disempowering themselves and do the wackiest things to ptove to themselves that they are small and need the leader's help. Gov't is the same. Gov't sucks your money and gets away with it because it houses all the "experts" whose opinions are tantamount to your survival and well-being. Sound like Ramtha? What's the difference between a politician and one of JX's appointed teachers who pimp for the Great One? Same thing...they suck people dry and then throw them away in search of more prey. Politicians do it, spiritual teachers do it, gov't "leaders" do it, RSE teachers do it and why do they constantly and continually get away with it? Because We The People play it too small to account for our own lives...too small to come to our own conclusions, too small to launch our own internal spiritual inquiry and too weak to practice being anything other than the victim. If people played it bigger, if people stopped being victims, people like JZ would not have an un-ending pool of weak people to scam and politicians would have no ears to preach to, and gov't employees would have to do something worthwhile other than live off the rest of us, shuffling papers from one pile to another. | ||

I do agree with you, however, I can remember a time in my own life that I was very weak, and very gullable... I am very happy to now report that I did GROW UP... unfortunatly, I was raised in a family that did not help, but, I did finially SNAP OUT OF IT... I can understand REASONS... and WHYS... and BECAUSE'S.
