Since then I have read, and am still reading online, about the teachings. Some questioning points that have come to light: 9 }Digging bunkers? Students should be leaving their bodies and crossing over in the event of an attack, not running for cover. Bogus. 11 }If he has been teaching since 1977 and quantum physics is new… what was he teaching before? 12 }California was to break off the US and sink around 1990. I remember the prophecy that slightly freaked me out as a teenager. Now I know who to roll my eyes at. 13 }A rape case where Ramtha had the man and wife confess in a class session? Why didn’t he just tell them to go back in time and change the past? It *is* possible right? Anyway, I will stop my critique there. There is one more thing though. Even after being at the workshop, I was tempted to go to a retreat. I am objective and naturally detached. Also, I hate organized religion. So I do not feel threatened by conformity of the school. What is interesting is why I want(ed) to go… which is probably true for many of the students. For people like myself who experience the paranormal, being around like minded individuals is rare. I used to go to psychic fairs not to have readings but for the atmosphere. The idea of being submerged in the actual experimentation is taunting. When I studied parapsychology, many paranormal things happened to me and I believe that it was because I was in an environment that was accepting of such. I am a very open person about my abilities and use my life as a catalyst to spark others to think and talk about these things. So, the idea of being at a place where everyone was focused on accomplishing these tasks and having these experiences is intriguing. After reading even a small portion of the threads on this forum and other sites, it has definitely stained my view of the situation towards cultism. Yet, a lot of what the school does is no different than Christianity’s history. The teachings weren’t controlling but keep in mind it was a beginner’s retreat. However, the monetary commitments raised red flags galore. This site was hard to find on the search for more information. Thanks again for posting honestly and openly. I hope this adds to the commentary so more people will have input in forming an opinion of the RSE. Anonymous |
