There will be a news interview for people who want to paticipate in Baltimore on the 14th and one on the 15th in Towson. The one of the 14th is going to include a camera crew in a public place. It will be absent of law enforcement paticpation. It will be very public and I am sure that many people would not want to put their lives under such a microscope. However if you want to paticpate feel free to let me know. I have already spoken to the reporter and he has the go ahead to pull the camera team for the interview. I expect it to draw an ugly personal response as it may already have, some people know about what is going on. The one on the 15th will be closed and will be held at a church. It will as I have mentioned before include law enforcement and press. I ask that you not only keep this in prayer but also those who are willing to come forward for the interviews. I think it takes maybe some stupidity on my part to go ahead with this. I use to hear CHS preach about being the lone ranger. Maybe CHS was right. I hope he was wrong. I am not a very good lone ranger, to many people have helped. People I never expected have stepped up. I hope if anything by example on Wednesday other people will come forward on Thursday. To the family that has already offered to come forward on Wednesday with me publically I can't thank you enough. When much of this started I wanted to keep my name out of it. Lets face it I did a poor job of that. I need to go ahead and put a face to what has happened. I hope others can stand with me. If nobody can or will, I certainly understand. I know on the 15th peole are planning on coming, for that I am thankful. If you want to stand with me on the 14th with a camera on you in a public place I would appreciate it. But that would be crzy for most. Both of them will be around 7:00 at night. No matter what you decide to do I hope you keep me in prayer and my family in prayer. This will some tough days for me I am sure. I am thankful to people like Dave, Tom, Coral, and a family or two in Delaware for being supportive. Oh well I guess it can't get to much stranger than this. Thanks to Tom and his wife (both of familes), thanks to Ted the kid I raised for being there for me as I fight this fight as a dad. Lee and Jack for their kind words today, and Coral and her prayers, and Dave M for being so Godly in his response. It is nice to see somebody put the Holy Spirit into his thoughts and responses. Have it at it guys. This should be the toughest one. | ||

Dear Neil and Hillbillygirl, I told my kids tonight, as much as I could. It was hard. There are all sorts of MBC&S kids staying in my house tonight. My kids were whisked away to Bible college in Baltimore the last couple years. I might not see them for a long while, but when all is come to the light, they will know that I stood up for the truth. My husband is gone,Pastor's orders from before. That may be a good thing, I don't know yet. I may lose everything I own and my kids for a while at least, and as I never finished my posts,I still have to stand for the truth. | ||

Tom, your statement reminds me of something that happened in my life and the life of my child. When my daughter was 4 years old, she was molested by a 16 year old cousin. My parents and I immediately took her to a doctor. He confirmed that it had occurred, but that she wasn't penetrated. The doctor recommended that we 'not' take this to the authorities because that would be more harmful for my daughter. To my eternal regret, I and my family agreed. One year ago my daughter broke down and told me all her life she had wondered what it was 'about her' that would make someone think they could abuse her, as if there was some message she was sending as a child of agreement. We spend hours talking, crying, and holding each other. I of course had felt my share of guilt over trusting a boy I considered family. I will not go into the years of self-condemnation she went through, but it had affected her life for over 30 years, all of her decision making was affected by that one incident that she was innocent of. It almost came to a divorce from a Christian husband who she dearly loves and he also loves her completely. After all these years, she finally accepts that she was a victim then, and is a survivor now. A healthy and happy survivor. I did her no favors by keeping silent, and other children may have suffered the same fate she did because I didn't use my God-given women's intuition about my child. Please tell your friends this is what their children may look forward to in the future if they do not take this opportunity to let the authorities do what should have been done from the beginning, or after the first report. History forgotten will repeat itself. At the least, these people should not be allowed in positions of authority and where children are. My husband ask that I would post this letter sent to him. It is a sad story. Listen very carefully to what the woman says. There will be a meeting in Maryland on Thursday evening. Make time to attend. For the people attending the meeting on the 15th please use only email to inform people of the exact location and honor the wishes of the host. I have sent it to the familes in PA, DE, and a few in Maryland tonight. | ||

I will keep your meetings with the media in my prayers. I hope they make a difference in bringing the GGWO cult to a close. I am grateful to be long removed from the TBS/GGWO cult. The leaders and their drones seem like silly cartoon characters but the stories of damage and destruction shows they are more than silly to people who give their wills and minds over to them. Thank God for His power because this board is now so full of convuluted baloney that only God could help a person in need sift through it. | ||

Hadasa I appreciate your positive reflections of late. I will take the same from anybody. Lift this up in prayer. Come to the meetings if you can. the juxtaposition of some of these images are eerie; A prominant guy in our Carlisle ministry had a pig operation in Tioga, PA in the early 90's; it was a beautiful place; we had jet ski's and whole lakes to ourselves (like I said, many of the people were cool & theres's alwasy some good memories); one hunting season up there a bunch of ministry fellows were at the tioga 'ranch' and one young man shot three bucks by cough, cough mistake; he said he couldn't 'see' if he hit his targets; we referred to it as the great deer massacre of 92 (I think that was the year)anyhow, people were upset, but we decided we wouldnt turn him in to the game commission, ha ha, anyhow, we all used the meat anyhow, when I escaped MBC&S, this was one of my davidic caves, for a couple of months I fed hogs; as I thought upon the prodigal son story in disgust; anyhow, it gave me time to reflect on how my life was seemingly getting very "complex", i.e. messed up (but God is restoring the years the locust have stolen); thanks to the constant sirens of 'go to bible school, go to bible school, it's the best form of education, what a privilage you have, everybody should go for a few years..........blah, blah, blah' - hear it long enough and go through a down time and walah....... anyhow that picture looks exactly like Tioga, PA cornfields and the hogs remind me of the hog farm oink, oink, you never forget that smell. It's lovely up there though, hasn't changed much. | ||

Thanks HG. This is one of my biggest concerns about American churchianity, fundy churches, contemporary country club Christianity in general. Sadly in so many churches including GGWO, the hurting people that need healing and/or deliverance from demonic powers are treated with contempt and isolated instead of given loving attention and needed ministry. While Jesus 2000 years ago spent much of His time giving love, attention, and ministry to the outcasts of His day that were crippled, sick, demonized, living in various sins etc. so much of the church today ignores them and would rather fellowship with the cool, popular, successful people that don't really need much healing or deliverance if any at all. They seem to be hoping the hurting outcasts will just quietly disappear out the doors of the church and become someone else's problem. Jesus came to heal and save the lost and deliver/heal them instead of ignoring them to hang around all the cool, "pretty people". Time for the churches at large that name the Name of Christ to do the same. SIDETHORN | ||

Reading this thread is funny. hearing (reading) how people railed against me for months, and it was pretty unreal. Some people have swung back into the "Neil is crazy camp" moved back into the "Lets do whatever we can to bring this into the light" camp. Nobody believed that GGWO was going to end up in the newspaper before the Sun article. I wish I had half a cent for every time a person said I was nuts for saying it. The same with the Berkshire Eagle article. Are people so dumb to think it won't happen again? Jeff Wisot and people at 4 of the GGWO churches including the ones in Baltimore and a church even in Mass. can't say I didn't try to let them speak to reporters this time. I offered to let them go directly to two of the reporters and even see some of the things said about them.That especially includes Jeff. Nobody wants to believe its real. I sat and read how Senator Craig was outed last year. I saw the reporter/blogger on CNN and on other stations say it would happen eventually in 2006.I thought the blogger was being over the top and full of himself. The democrats couldn't pay this guy enough money for what he has done. A conservative state is about to make Hillary's dreams come true for negative crap. I'll be glad to be called every name in the book for this one. 4 church's? Hmm... I'll go at this one alone this time. I get nobody has much to say to a reporter. Its old news. Cult destroys family, bible college not accredited etc. But funny its the same now as it was 20 years ago. I get it. For those who actually care about the kids and are not looking for a cheap shot at me. Pray for the kids involved. I am worn thin that not a soul cares about those kids. Its somehow cool to stay silent on those kids because I have said something about them. Take it easy and just hang tight. How fast can a couple of thousand letters be written?
