The tank is a maze of 8 foot high interlaced panels with ladders and crawl tubes, above are walkways for “Ramtha” or RSE staff to “watch over” the students.
I would estimate the tank to be about 50 feet diameter.
Somewhere inside this maze is a room called “The Void”.
The Tank was deemed the greatest test and initiation for an RSE student,
with honor bestowed upon those that found their way impeccably to the void..
Students are blindfolded and duct taped to insure no cheating, and instructed to find “The Void” without touching the panels. Oftentimes food and water was placed there for the successful student to enjoy. At times conditions became so brutal it defies description; I will leave that for another post.
Little did I suspect that the Tank was merely an instrument of JZ Knights twisted mind.
A former “inner circle staff member of many years” described to me how JZ would instruct him to assist certain students to the void while he manned the walkway above the tank. This was via a radio receiver connected to his earpiece,.
JZ gave instructions from her house, and also received reports as to the whereabouts of “certain students”. Panels were moved aside to allow entry to the void for certain “Focused Students” You can be sure that if “Ramtha” wanted a certain student to reach the void they would… and you can bet your copper hat that if “Ramtha” didn’t want certain… I am sure you get the picture.
I once challenged an “advanced student” with this information.. his eyes glazed over with a look of compassion for my ignorance and proclaimed that he still created his reality of finding the void… even if what I said was true.

To this day most students do not know about her Tank Scam grooming.

David.

Does anyone know what the pupose of the tank is supposed to be? I have never heard it stated that this is spposed to ave any value in one's daily life. Perhaps if one gets lost in a city in a power blackout? Has anyone heard of any reason for this discipline?
I also participated in blindfolded archery last year. It was stated what to do but never what for. Is it to shoot an animal in the night if you are hungry in an emergency? I cannot think of any other reason. Does anyone know?

The tank, in my experience, was the ultimate in humiliation...one of the techniques for getting people to bow down to the "god" in charge, AKA JZ Knight.

My experiences at Yelm, once in 1991 for a 3-day with Ramtha and in 2005 for 4 complete events and then a self-provided graduation ceremony at the end of the 4th event...all lead me to one conclusion...everyting at RSE is designed to lead one in the wrong direction. Then if you are awake enough to notice, you find your own direction...one that is as far away from RSE as possible.

ITZ,

I agree about the tank. I also found it to be a degrading and humiliating experience. I'm sure those "in the fold" would say I'm a victim, but I can speak for myself beyond their judgments (they don't even know me, but they'd have a general opinion as their pat response). I'm not a victim.

But, I do know that common sense would tell most people that leaving adults and children in a maze, blindfolded, for up to 10 or 12 hours with no way to go to the bathroom (hello? you figure THAT out), or to eat food or get a drink.

But, if you are a God instead of a human, you will overcome until you become as the dogma goes. Funny thing is, there isn't one ascended master in that school after more than 20 years. Duh.

There are adults and children who ended up in the hospital due to injuries, or heatstroke issues after hours in the tank in the summer heat and humidity. It's amazing what a group herd mentality will do to coerce people to conform to behavioral requests that normally, they wouldn't tolerate for a second !

Let's not talk about what a menstruating woman does in the tank for 12 hours and no way to use a bathroom. 'Nuff said. Not only is it humiliating, it is disrespectful to even consider that any person should be expected to endure such as that. The dogma would say that a God would stop menstruating during the tank participation, though. Can you believe that ?

It's true.

In my opinion, it's abuse.

I know someone who urinated in her clothing as a product of being blindfolded for hours and being unable to find a toilet. This is a 60 year old lady. I would consider that it must violate local health regulations.

At some events in the early 90's that I attended it was stated that there were underground portions of the labyrinth. I heard Ramtha say that one could PERISH in there. Those that accomplished the above ground labyrinth were put in the underground portion at this event. It was stated that Audrey Wolfe had to be removed from it due to exhaustion.
At another event I attended a woman climbed over the walls and dropped down on the other side and shattered her knee. She was screaming in horrible pain. Ramtha said that she would have the injury all of her days.
Perhaps she did not intend to come to a Beginner's event again so she could learn to heal herself in just 8 days.

Why doesn't Ramtha demonstrate, himself, how to go from some point in the field, all the way into the Tank and to the Void, blindfolded ??????? Surely he can do so.

Better yet, why doesn't he just materialize as himself, and prove that his channel has the credentials to be channeling him? Or are students expected to believe he exists because she says so ? Or because some study that was self-appointed and paid for, said so ?

Just wondering...inquiring minds want to know.

Ramtha doesn't serve as an example for anything he teaches. He doesn't do the Tank. He doesn't do the Field. He doesn't heal the sick or feed the poor, or produce miracles. All he does is talk---talk, talk, talk.

Yeah, I agree!!

I always thought it would be a really good example for him/her to stand in front of one of the archery targets! or simply show how it is done.
