When Matt Crouch asked her what the Lord spoke to her about when she was listening to her Pastor, she never answered honestly and spoke her new doctrine instead. She is confusing to listen to and has strange ideas. She does not point you toward the Lord as much as she is drawing you into herself. When Jesus said "It is finished", He did not mean what she is espousing. TBN needs to be corrected earnestly, as they are allowing more and more influxes of New Age and self determined ministers teaching things that "they heard from God", not from the Bible, but are "corrections" to the Bible. Her being successful does not secure she is perfect. We are not perfect and we cannot be. The word in the Bible means mature, and relying upon God. She is mixing truths with lies and that is what a cult leader or false teacher does. Ask the Lord for wisdom and be careful not to compromise. If you can find the/her words from the interview on Thursday night with Matt and Laurie Crouch you will be shocked and concerned. Even her book on her website has a strong looking "countenance" that distinctively looks like the same one on witchcraft books or pentagrams. It does and that is not an exaggeration. She is teaching "another Gospel" and she literally says that the church has been deceived for years and "she" is giving us/it what we need to be free. Read her quotes on the 'details' about her book and around her web pages. She is teaching a "private interpretation" of the Bible. We don't know who is over her as an authority and Matt and Laurie know better. Who convinced them to produce a segment on her doctrine. Wrong turn. Turn around! She has a spirit of heresy. They are going off into some tangents now. When you have no accountability board, and when Matt Crouch is making spiritual decisions when he is a technician and not a spiritual leader then errors will occur. There is something new/ very wrong happening at/through TBN. His mom has new age elements and strange personna and she is thought of as too much of spiritual authority because she is wealthy and decides programming. There's a website where there are articles re owning 11 houses next to the studio in CA and an entire development in Texas worth millions. These are facts. They own other personal property that is just too much. She has an addiction with buying antiques and many of the items are pagan depictions which she doesn't care about when its mentioned. Hair is false and strange and her make up is thick and voice a characture, that is a concerning pathology and shows that she is sick partially. She is hiding the real her. She is very sweet, too too sweet on TV and from what has been written is hot tempered and very controlling at home or in private. The duality is a concern. The articles say they drink and other things that if true they need to repent. If she is acting as a false authority then she will be open to false authorities like Mary Banks. Serious situation spiritually. They should not broadcast the production featuring her self made doctrine. The main actress in One Night, is now starring in a Mormon production where she kisses two 'brothers' to decide if she is going to be a faithful mormon. Her eyes have a strikingly bad countenance. The trailers for the movie TBN is doing are very sensual and even though the sets are magnificent the film does not feel good spiritually. Why couldn't they find an actress and write a movie that young women could emulate and that would last as a standard? If you say this to TBN they will brand as you heresy hunters. That is a disturbing arrogance. Absolute power, corrupts absolutely. Sell the antiques depicting pagan rituals and dieties and get a new and wholesome accountability board. TBN and the Crouches, owe that to all of us no matter how successful they are right now. That could change if they continue in the course of false doctrines, "new gospels" and imagination. Clarence MClendon is another false leader on the network that they refuse to hear the Lord about. | ||

Well, God gave them the best tools on earth. When they are abusing this, God will not let this flourish. He will judge and bring His wrath upon the Crouches. God is watching them all. He has extended His grace and a day will come He will withdraw His grace. That is when they will Fall. It is coming and we will see it. Pride comes before the FALL. This will be one more Jimmy Bakker style wrath. TBN's LAwyers cannot stop this when God's wrath comes upon the CROUCHES.I am sure God has convicted them many times. If they repent and turn away from wickedness, God will forgive them and bless them. But, this seems a remote possibility. Who are we to judge them. I feel sorry for them. Romans 1:27-28 is very scary. | ||

Regarding Dr. Mary Banks The message and the book, 'Be Ye Perfect' takes you into the heart and mind of God and His eternal purpose. Mary Banks clearly opens up scripture and reveals the Father's true purpose for His church and the holiness of His sons. Scripture is rightly divided and confirmed by scripture. The church for far too long has made God look so impotent, but the Mary Banks clearly brings to the true Body of Christ a 'sure word' and exposes the false doctrines and traditions in the Body of Christ today that has made the Word of God of no effect in the lives of God's people. Read her book, 'Be Ye Perfect' and you will see it is all scripture rightly divided. Living a Holy life is not some strange new doctrine. It is the Apostles Doctrine the church should never have veered away from into what is truly a 'New Age' doctrine>The Faith & Prosperity False Doctrine. The Lord has always intended for His New Creatures in Christ to live holy. The New Creature is born holy and complete in Christ and is no longer under the dominion of sin. The New Creature can live a sinless identity. This was God's intent for His Sons, with His nature before the foundations of the world. Mary Banks is truly a Bible Teacher to the Body of Christ. | ||

"The New Creature can live a sinless identity." Blasphemy! Impossible. Christ knew when He said "Be Ye Perfect...." that none of us would ever be perfect. That is His purpose in coming to Earth. To be our Savior. If we could become perfect why on Earth would we need Jesus to be our Savior? "This was God's intent for His Sons" His "Sons"???????? There is ONLY ONE SON OF GOD!!!!!! Jesus Christ was the first begotten of God. Romans 8:20.....Jesus was the "FIRSTBORN of many BRETHREN." He was the first of many sons. The Father's sons must supply a walk, led by the Spirit of God. Romans 8:14 "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. " If you are born of God's Spirit then you are a son of God. I John 3: 1-2 The Father's sons can and are expected to live a holy life - body, soul and spirit. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil in man's life. He destroyed the Law of sin and death for mankind through His death and resurrection. He destroyed the power of sin and its dominion and the New Creature is born of God. If he sins, it is by choice and not that he is held captive to sin because Jesus destroyed that captivity in our lives. The real blasphemy is that people have made God out to be an impotent God in the lives of His people and many false doctrines have systematically poisoned the people of God. Faith and Prosperity and "dual nature" blaspehmies totally contradict the eternal purpose of God. They have perpetuated lust for the things of this world and a lust for sin. They have fashioned a 'creature' that is not even a facsimile of a real son of God. Many so called christian teachings and "church traditions' have turned God's people's hearts and minds to the world, rather than to Him. | ||

I Cor. 14:34 - 35 about "Women in Ministry" was not Paul's mind on this subject as he knew we were no longer bound by the law. (they were issues the Elders in the church had!) Paul was addressing and answering issues going on in the church at that time . (see chapter 7 - he says, now concerning those things you wrote onto me...) In answer to them trying to stop women from ministering, Paul was quite adamant! So therefore I say to you as he said to them in verse 36 - "What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?" He was correcting them. | ||

luv_faith_hope I'm glad I saw your post above about mary banks. I know what you mean about her seeming to want to draw people to herself. At her website www.marybanks.net, on the first page is a full screen picture of only HER FACE. How bizarre. I think she is also involved with the heretical Latter Rain New Apostles and Prophets movement. Think she said she graduated from the 'School of Prophets'. They are full of new revelations about one thing or another. Mary might be concerned about morality in the church, but morality doesn't excuse false teaching and leadership. Regarding TBN, there is no chance it will change. Paul Crouch has an agenda to help create the world religious body. Revelation calls it the Whore. How he could be so blind not to see this is beyond me. One doesn't have to be a Bible scholar. He does this by denigrating bible teaching/doctrine in order that all religious beliefs can be melded enough that their constituents can be brought together in wonderful worldly harmony. I'm sure you have heard his infamous declaration "doo doo on doctrine", Christian doctrine that is. Needless to say this also seriously contradicts what the Lord Jesus Christ and his Apostles taught the church. If Mary Banks was so concerned about right BIBLE doctrine, she would not be involved with TBN - or the New Apostles and Prophets movement. Even Paul Crouch would tell her that I think. But she apparently doesn't need to be told as, from what you have said, they seem to have taken her into their fold. They all think they are supposed to establish God's kingdom on earth and rule it till the Lord comes back. Of course they conveniently overlook Jesus telling us that he will establish the kingdom himself when he returns. I think all these people have fallen for the ages old 'Garden' seduction - satan's appeal to man's pride. It's no wonder many WOFers among them have fallen for his lie that they can be/are gods. But this is what they are choosing for themselves. So be it. |
