Arron, my dear friend, I think you know I believe that all true believing children of God have the baptism of repentence and receive the Holy Spirit irrespective of water. It only matters what the Bible teaches and not what the divided church teaches. |

According to David Barrett et al, editors of the "World Christian Encyclopedia: A comparative survey of churches and religions - AD 30 to 2200," there are 34,000 separate Christian groups in the world today. "Over half of them are independent churches that are not interested in linking with the big denominations." Different strokes for different folks. Live and let live. If they believe different than you then leave them in peace to their chosen belief. God will one day let us know all the answers. |

They better go dig up that theif on the cross. Jesus said he'd be with him in paradise. I guess he didn't hear about UPC back then. |

One does not get saved by getting dunked in water, but by trusting in the saving work of Jesus Christ at the cross and receiving Him as their personal Lord and Savior by faith. Jesus told the thief next to Him that he would see Him in paradise that very day. This thief was not pulled off his cross, dunked in baptismal water, and renailed back on his cross to die there. The thief died on his cross, went to paradise to meet Jesus, and is in Heaven with Christ today. Any church that preaches that only those who have been baptised go to Heaven don't know what they're talking about!!! |
