I used to date Jerry Ervin's daughter back in high school. He went through a rough time in his marriage and got divorced from Cathy and remarried. Not too long after that, he and Cathy were reconciled and got married again. They have been living in the same house for about 20 years. The address is Kimmell, Indiana, and it is about 5 miles from the old FA building. The last word I heard was that they were attending a Nazarene church around Warsaw.
I totally agree with your statement about Jerry. He was a wonderful man, and I enjoyed being around him.

I heard about that affair that Jerry Ervin had and how he got back together with his wife.
I remember the song services back at the Barn and the tent and FA. I actually miss those song services a great deal...particularly on Sunday mornings when I am enduring the song services at my current church.
I'm glad to hear he's patched things up with Cathy and doing ok. |
