We all learn everyday and i have come to the conclusion that the one who coined the phrase "ignorance is bliss" wasnt aware that there would be unfortunate individuals like yourself.In your case your ignorance obviously is your undoing which inadvertently leads to you mouthing off....
On the contrary, i am the one that will do the teaching on this topic.
Firstly you call us cultists, i and several others do not belong to a cult but a confraternity (polish ur vocabulary....)secondly you call us deranged psychopaths.I unfortunately cannot put up a viable arguement because the record speaks for itself and i acceed to the fact that there are unworthy elements being initiated these days.But trust me my friend, there are loads of people that you are unaware of that have been and are still members of various confraternities.I happen to know for a fact that a former vice president of your country was a member of the Buccaneer Confraternity (of which i am not a member...)there are at least two serving governors that are members of the Supreme Eiye Confraternity and lots more that even i have no clue about.Make no mistake, i do not say these people are the holiest and are the natural path to follow for any aspiring young man but you cannot deny the fact that they are successfull.
Let us leave the shores of naija and move along to faces that you are very aware of.Snoop Dogg and several others are members of the infamous "CRIPS" confraternity.
Madonna is a very celebrated member of the "FREEMASON" which is also a confraternity but they dont use the term.The publics favourite artist of all time leonardo da vinci was also a member.
I encourage you to do a little research of your own and you will find that the 10 richest individuals in the world are members of one cofraternity or the other.(her royal highness the queen of england inclusive....)
The point i have tried to pass across to you is this:It's not really a bad thing to be a member of a confraternity but it's the kind of values that the confraternity imbibes that should be of major concern.
During my time i was fortunate enough to be part of the hierachy, but even with that i have had (and trust me my friend i will always have....)enourmous influence on the lives of numerous individuals (including those that i call my own...)
Those that are in universities are a tiny part of the overall equation.What we on this site are trying to encourage is the ability for those in various confra's to co-exist and re-orientate their present members.
So as a friend of mine says "We are all directly or indirectly responsible for out actions".
I urge you to air your views on how to reform confraternities and to think outside the box.
(Not all confra men are as dark as u paint them) |

I will break it down to your language.
Is every Nigerian into 419?
Is every Danfo driver a murderer (or sosoliso pilot?)
Can every Graduate write proper English?
Will every pastor go to heaven?
The answer is NO! You cannot group everyone, however their groupings into one category and label them as you like. Even more so if you do not know how they work or what they do.
It is a sad fact that positively and negatively, it is a minority who always dominate the news, the vast majority of confra men live amongst you as your neigbours, never once taking the decision or order to attack a fellow human being.
It is the blood thirsty and glory (misguided) hunting minority, who would probably have been armed robbers anyway, who you hear about daily.
Dont be fooled, there are things happening that you dont know. Confras in Nigeria regularly donate clothes, food and money to motherless babies homes and SOS villages, build bus shelters and police boxes, carry out environmental beautification, give free eye and AIDS tests.
A lot of the political upheaval in the Bendel, South South and Eastern states are due to Pyrates, Bucaneers, Axemen and Vikings checking the excesses of politicians.
The last two contestants in the US elections are members of the same Skull and Bones Confraternity (Kerry and Bush), Clinton was sponsored by the same confraternity.
Again, if you do not know about something, open your eyes, do some proper research, remove your own personal opinions and deal with facts. If you need help with your research let me know, I can furnish you with proof on this site.
