Professing people are taught to view their little house church as the ONLY true way! All other religions are called "false religion"! I remember hearing workers boldly state in gospel meetings that their "truth" way is the only way that Jesus established when hear on earth making other churches as products of Satan!

The workers believe that only through their homeless ministry can someone be saved (if they live a faithful enough life).

We are conditioned to believe that the "Truth" is the only true religion!

Thus we never question the workers and think they cannot be wrong on any issue!

As children, we had so much reverence for the workers because they were the only ministers on earth that God spoke through!

Workers today are more subtle about their only way belief. They don't want to state this to newcomers until they have time to learn more about this "kingdom". Workers don't care to tell first time outsiders that "we don't judge other religions" and then eventually start verbally attacking denominational religions in gospel meetings.

I wished more friends and "outsiders" would hammer the workers in letters about whether or not they believe "the truth" is the only true religion. I would respect them if they gave a YES or NO answer. But they won't say anything that could be used against them in the media or elsewhere.

Workers don't want to introduce this belief to first time visitors of their gospel meetings because it might turn them off! Workers at first preach similar to a denominational group and then gradually introduce the notion that professing people are special, different and thus "God's true people".

Workers preach that the professing people are the only people who God hears their prayers. Workers preach that their friends are the ONLY people of God!

Since the early days, professing people are conditioned to think that they are the only way and their ministers are the ONLY true servants of God.

Some professing people are trying to deny that the workers have ever preached that their church is the only way!

How one religious group can claim to be the only way Jesus established really blows my mind and I grew up in this "testimony".

There is a sense of pride about belonging to the only true church that Jesus established on the earth today.
You think of yourself as right and everyone else as wrong. You feel superior to other people. You judge others as lost and hellbound. You get a spiritual big head!

Funny that the friends grow up believing that "the truth" is the only way without investigating other churches. No you wouldn't catch a professing person attend another church yet some of them have such nasty things to say about denominational churches!

Professing people are conditioned in gospel meetings to believe their meetings are the only right form of worship and other ways are wrong. This belief is maintained until they begin to think about how stupid the "only way" belief really is!

The workers promote or allow the friends to believe that they alone are the only true "People of God".

Only way belief is so retarded. A group beginning in Ireland in 1897 could be the only right way! Why did workers start the belief that their fellowship was started by Jesus? Now people know better!

I now know what has been my mental strife has been all my life. Being a people pleaser..no self confidence....i was going to hell..I thought

How can a church group founded in Ireland by several "homeless" workers be the only true religon on the earth?

Why promote the way of William Irvine, Jack Carroll or George Walker as God's only right church?

Older workers taught people that the fellowship meetings began when Jesus was on the earth. Records show otherwise.

One worker stated that the "fruits" from the lives of God's people" convinced him that "this way is right".

OK. How about those who never profess or attend a meeting? Can they be saved? Or those raised in "truth" who decide that they prefer another way of worship??
