This is a new cult. Is spreading like wild fire in India. It has its headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. They claim that they are the 144,000 who are spotless, blameless etc. According to them, they are the second set of 144,000. They do not take medicines and allow people to die. They do not allow the members to do anything with others outside their flock. It is a closed community and they claim superior to everyone else. They believe in special revelations which are Unbiblical. |

This is not a new group. They go back to the 1920's. I fellowshipped with a Church under their wing from 1977-1980. They are quite an interesting group. |

Perhaps their tongue talking Jehovas wittness. Baptized in the holy ghost, washed in the blood of Christ, Layed out on the alter, and sanctified. AMEN! |

The initial poster seems to know little about this group. Its true they teach divine healing. Its true some have died but also that some have been healed. The reason they are not well known is because they started in Ceylon now called Sri Lanka long ago. I must say if doctrine was not important as so many think, this would be the ultimate Church I have ever known. As far as love and commitment to Jesus Christ I have never seen a group that impressed me as much. |

The Ceylon Pentecostal Mission is now known as "The Pentecostal Mission". They have Churches in many nations. One distinctive is that the ministers "forsake all" and live communally. This is true ONLY for the ministers who live together in what are known as "Faith Homes". |

that is the only place to my knowledge where the scriptures say anything even remotly connected with that and that was the beginning of the church when it was under sever perscution or would be and they got together and did that to help one anothe out. it doesnt mean we have to do that today. |

Here are the pro's and cons of the movement. Pro They seem like real Christians. Love and holiness is there. The willingness to do whatever they think the Lord wants them to. Its an international Church being in some 40 nations. Seeing so many nationalities of people together worshipping is glorious. There is a real international flavor to it. Their praise meetings were truly heavenly. Cons Trinitariaism Pre trib rapture Women Preachers Forbidding marriage to Minissters |
