Unfortunately i cannot agree with you on all grounds "world_eagle". I happen to know for a fact that there are those that would follow the path of armed robbery within SEC because i spent a considerable amount of time trying to readjust their mindset while i was in a position to do something about it. On the other issue of "Uni's" and "Poly's", a school is only as good as its students make it out to be. You do have a point to a certain extent as to the substandard levels within "some" of our polys but i could rise up in defense of one or two that i know that lack class but make it up with brains.... |

i would have to agree with king of kings that eiye is a yoruba based frat. i have friends who are not yorubas but are eiye men. majority of eiyemen are yorubas and it is because of this that a friend of mine wanted to to cross carpet to BAN but was rejected. Having said that, it is not to say that all eiyemen are tribalistic. |

What you have described is called "sentiments" my friend. A word that doesnt come up in my vocabulary very often, with it people more often than not tend to make rash and incorrect decisions and when everything goes wrong they gladly put it down to that word. So in conclusion to your previous posting "joli_idiagbon" i have little or no sentiments within me and the only reason why i saw sense in what he posted was because it DID make sense. Place your own sentiments aside for a second and you will agree with me that there are some schools that are mediocre be it "Uni's" or "Poly's"............. |

i agree that nigerian instituitions have falling in standard but universities and polytechnics can only do so much. i went to a nigerian university but it shocked me to see people have graduated from such uni's and cannot speak or write decent english. the society as a whole has decayed and that is why the calibre of injus men we have now lack quality. As such frats have a responsibility to take extra care not to recruit social miscreants and instead recruit only a few who can cut the mustard. You will not have situations were injus men are being used for political thuggery or assasinations. i say instituitions need restructuring. |

there is definitely no point going round killin people jo_jo 'cos what goes around will definitely come around. with my experience as an airlord, and of which is always drummed into ears during orientation days, eiye never attacks, they only defend but albeit defending brutally which atimes this is taken a bit too far. i do not preach violence. far from it. but any body that is a part of a fraternity should just be made aware of the ups and downs in it.this is not ABC, RHO nor SIGMA PHI that we are talking about. its 2 steps above that and new intakes shouldnt be made to believe that its all about boozing and havin a good time wit ur brothers. there are situations called "spill overs". so mayb when some fraternities like those that preach that "forgiveness is a sin" change their orienation and intakes into fraternities are well screened b4 initiations then we can start from there. but we shouldnt try and deceive ourselves that we can stop violence in a day. again i do not preach violence, i only preach no gucking, dont slumber, soji urself.from experience.and to elbulk and exalora- y u guys takin things so personal, i was just messing with y'all.am always happy when i see a brother doing well xpecially in this •••••• up so called white mans land.even though we might not belong to d same team, in a way we r all in d same boat fighting for our rights. safe y'all. kukurukuuuu. i perch. |
