I am desperately seeking information on these affiliated groups. My college freshman brother has become very involved with these groups as well as the Justice House of Prayer since he moved to school... Our family is very concerned since his involvement has caused him to become uncharacteristicly (sp?) offstandish regarding his activities with them and we have seen a dramatic cut off of communication since his involvement. If you have any info on this/these group(s), Pastor Lou Engle, or their relationship with Bob Weiner and Morningstar your wisdom would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

I don't know anything about the group Justice House of prayer you mentioned, but there is a large thread on Bob Weiner and Morningstar (now named EveryNation) here on FactNet. You might try posting this question there to see if anyone knows. All I can say is that if they are affiliated with Morningstar/EveryNation or Bob Weiner, those are huge red flags. |

The Call, Bickle, Engles, Weiner, Maranatha, Morning Star International and Rick Joyner's MorningStar in North Carolina are all part of the New Order of the Latter Rain (NOLR) occult movement. The pioneer NOLR leaders started their movement after they read and believed occult writings some of which date back to the 17th century. They were denounced by the Pentaecostal Assemblies of Canada PAOC and the General Council of the Assemplies of God in 1948. Jesus said, "You shall know the truth [including the hard parts] and the truth will set you free." Right now, their are 1000's of Christians who are coming out of this WHORE movement because they, through biblical discernment, have tried the claims of their so-called "apostolic authority" and "spiritual covering" and have found them to be false beyond any shadow of doubt, even if some parts of their "prophetic declarations" come true. Get beyond their occult techniques, lying signs and wonders, false miracles, and other preternatural trickery and see firsthand the occult doctrines that lie *BEHIND* them. That's where the freedom is. In doing so, you will pull away the curtains and expose these devlish leaders who are pulling all the levers that make the gears turn and see just how spiritually corrupt they are. Jenn, Bound 4 Life, Lou Engle and The Cause are part of The Cause USA (see www.thecauseusa.com for more info). They are an organization which promotes and lives out the values of prayer and fasting so that America will turn to God. Their main focus right now is to pray and fast to see the ending of abortion in America. They do silent, legal prayer vigils in front of abortion clinics(no posters or signage, just a piece of red duck tape with the word "life" written on it in black). They are not affiliated with "The Latter Rain Movement", Dominion Theology, or any of the things Bill Mack asserted above. In fact, he posted the exact same posting to another thread which had absolutely nothing to do with your question/topic. I know many wonderful, stable, mature Christians who either currently are affiliated with The Cause. BTW, The Justice House of Prayer is a 24 hour "prayer meeting", if you will, located in Washington, D.C., where, again, they pray that the people and the church of America will repent of the sin of abortion and turn to Jesus. As far as your brother seeming distant, he probably feels like he's getting to do something very important by being involved with The Cause, and the stuff that they are doing/praying for makes for really heavy subject matter. He's probably throwing himself into it wholeheartedly, and maybe he's afraid you'll misunderstand, or feel like it's not a worthwhile issue for him to be giving so much time and energy to. I know what it's like to be young and to feel like you found something to dedicate your life to. It's part of growing up On a side note, this is why young people are more susceptible to being ensnared by cults. It's that whole "impassioned youth" thing. If you (Jenn, that is) have any other questions, you can email me at: hannah_rebekah at sbcglobal dot net To others who might be looking for a debate, I would kindly ask that you keep it in the forum. I will block and delete any harassive or unwanted email. Thank you. |

Lou Engle is an amazing man of God. I am a college sophomore who is very involved with JHOP (Justice House of Prayer) and the Call....The ministry is exactly like what hanakos1off said....We are seeking God concerning abortion, homosexuality, and Islam, in America...We want to see our nation set free by the power of God. We want revival to come to our nation.....I know what your brother is involved in and it is not a bad thing....if your brother is like the rest of us then He is just seeking God, and at times that can seem hard. I know for me for a long time I went through a period where i didnt feel like i had anyone there for me....but God used that time to teach me that all I needed was Him....your brother is involved in and doing one of the most amazing things in the world...He is making a difference in this nation....God Bless Him and you and your whole family. |

I am very familiar with The Call, JHOP and Lou Engle. He is a straight up guy and all for Jesus. He knows God and he knows the Word. He's not a manipulator or glory seeker like Che Ahn or the false prophet Jim Goll or some of the other self promoting people who are in Lou Engle's world. People are attrached to Lou because he is all for Jesus. Most importantly he knows Jesus. For many of the fleshly ministers they only want to be associated with Lou because it gives their anemic ministry credibility. I remember many times he would say that he had to implore the other preachers not to, " Preach it up" at an event and implore them to keep it simple and all for the Lord. Lou lets people use him because he doesn't judge them he keeps his eyes on Jesus cause he already knows what's in the heart of man.God allows lousy ministries to exist and he sends Lou Engle to travel in the midst of them. A message to jennd3---It's all for a season. Hopefully your brother has grown up by now.If he's connected with Lou Engle he is in a good place and it sounds like he's from a good family. Don't worry! A man who started out with Lou whos name is Che Ahn has many captives. He and Lou Engle started out together. They will finish apart. Che Ahn is a greedy man and a lover of money and power. He abuses his congregation without mercy. His whole family is on the church payroll and he has bold faced lied to his congregation and told them that his church Harvest Rock has financial credibility with an organization that clears churches. Yet it is only his money laundering corporation Harvest International Ministries which only has 2 employees him and his assistant pastor which has cleared. Ok you can tell I'm an exhrcmember. No doubt! (Message edited by exhrcmember on January 12, 2007) |

Jenn, Lou Engle has joined MIKE BICKLE in Kansas City, Missouri at the IHOP. This is NOT good news. While I've always respected Engle, I'm here to tell u that MIKE BICKLE is a proven LIAR and IHOP ACTUALLY IS A CULT. I'd been attending their school, FSM (FORERUNNER SCHOOL OF MINISTRY) for almost two years, taking everything in, journaling everything, and TESTING everything against scripture. There are so many false doctrines taught there, its not even funny. For example: 1. They uphold teachings of Mystics and false prophets. 2. They teach/practice DELIVERANCE for/on CHRISTIANS frequently (casting out demons). 3. I've seen "CHRISTIANS" manifest demons more times than i can count. 4. I've seen/they teach Odd, unbiblical manifestations that they claim are from the "Holy Spirit." 5. They twist scriptures and take them out of context to fit their wacked-out doctrines and have excuses for everything. The most dangerous being, "The Holy Spirit loves to offend the mind, that's how you know its from God!" 6. Generational curses being the cause of habitual sin and sickness in Born-again Christians (they blame demons for literally everything, even talk to them!) 7. Completely unbiblical veiw/practice of "prophesy" which works much more like spiritist, psychic, medium stuff and not actual prophesy. What's worse is Mike Bickle teaches that its OKAY to falsly prophesy. 8. Etc But this isn't even why I say it is a cult! (YEAH, IT ACTUALLY GETS WORSE!!!) As I previously stated, I was a student at FSM, until a series of events left me in a small office with 3 people. At this point I was aware of false prophesies, doctrines, and teachings. I began to warn people, adamently, to "TEST EVERYTHING! Don't believe anything unless u see it, IN CONTEXT, in the Bible. Just because something is real, doesn't mean its from God..." So, leadership obviously got word that I'd been doing this and I was brought into an office. In this office, they gave me a laundry list of things wrong with me (mostly from my past), and said that I have a problem with authority. Then they began to use smooth words to try and twist the situation and manipulate me by saying, "It's not your fault, you just need help. But we are for you! We love you! And we are going to help you." This is when they proceeded to tell me that I needed healing and deliverance from the authority issues which stem from having a bad relationship with my dad (which isnt even true). So, in order to recieve this "healing and deliverance" they were going to SEND ME AWAY to Toronto, where the Toronto blessing was. They smoothly threatened me not to tell my parents (without them being there) and to recieve this news with "a humble heart" so as not to "speak evil of their authority" to anyone. If this isn't CULT action, then I sure as heck dunno what is! Mind you, I had just bought a house so that I could help ihop people in need. I had been mentoring a few of my roomies who were brand new christians and came outta bad living situiations. So THEN, after ALL OF THAT nonsense, they call my roommates into their office, completely slander me, tell them to wait until I am gone, move out of my house, and then send me an email to let me know they've left. They commanded that their meeting be completely confidential from everyone. Luckily for me, one of my roommates is not stupid. So she told me everything. But my other roommates wont even look at me. IHOP completely screwed me over! Sick isn't it?!?!?! WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T GO TO IHOP!!! IT IS THE BIGGEST CULT SINCE MORMONISM. Warn your little bro. Look it all up, its bad bad stuff. |

Exihoper, I've got a kid in IHOP who is in there hook, line and sinker. Thanks for your 'confirmation' that I wasn't just imagining it MIGHT be IHOP who had led to his cutting me off from communicating with him. He's in there, waist/neck deep and only prayer's gonna get him out. Compliments of Mike Bickle, Allen Hood et al.. |
