One thing that seems to happen is people tend to start following the man instead of Jesus. It almost sounds to me that is what happened here, at least when they were saying that jail time wasn't needed, since they had forgiven him and stripped him of his title for 3 years. People tend to get wrapped up in a person of stature and when something bad happens they fall really hard. I've seen it happen in churches alot. A pastor leaves and half the congregation leaves with him. Nevermind that he was stealing, cheating on his wife or whatever. They follow the man. | ||

Well now think about this. Because he was stripped of his title he has decided to leave that particular organization and to start one of his own named after him at that. So that he can still declare himself as a Bishop and his church is 110% behind him. As a matter of fact they label people that have left the church as enemies and haters of the Bishop. They even walk around with I love Bishop buttons on..... sounds like they are brainwashed to me. What do you think? | ||

From what you say, and I am only making a snap assesment here, it does sound cult like to me. I will say I have not really read up or lookied into this, so this is only my opinion. If what you are saying is true, then it doesn't sound very God centered on his or the congregations part. As I said earler, some people tend to fall in love with their pastor, bishop, pope, whatever, and will follow him no matter what. | ||

The Bible also talks about faultfinding and fingerpointing. It's amazing to me how many people on this website allow themselves to be used by the "accuser of the brethren,"instead of spending their time being instruments of reconciliation and restoration. | ||

Everyone makes mistakes true enough, but I don't agree with the way the situation is being handled and has been handled. The sad part is that I am only one of a handful of people that feel that way or that God has given clear vision and understanding to. I used to be a member of the church. I had been there over 20 years. Then he comes in and spiritually I go nowhere. Its like dondi said they are totally into the man and the man is totally into himself and I know for a fact that is not of GOD. To keep his title of a Bishop he decides to name an organization after himself.....now what is that about? Why should I follow his leadership and he can't even follow his own. | ||

Well, just remember this. God uses all things for good. Whatever comes of this business with this bishop, God can use for good. As I have said before, I have not researched this, so I am at a loss for even the denomination of this bishop. Could you clarify that for me? | ||

well, I really don't know too much about Pentecostals. I have had run ins with them in the past, but nothing bad, just kinda wierd. I guess it doesn't really matter what denomination. A mna can become bigheaded anywhere. Let's just pray that those following the man will come back and follow Jesus | ||
