Silentblue, I completely disagree. Many of the people who have posted here are a work in progress - His workmanship. If God loves everyone here and His Son dwells in them by His Spirit then... He is here. Its interesting that you would cite hfl as the source of what defines God's presence because she is neither full of truth or love and that is who God is. Nothing of God? Not possible when this is about Carman and about all of us and those in his life and more. She said that because she is a "god" in her own mind and she is not succeeding in her "rule" and can't get her will to come to pass. Yes, if she were god, then as they say in the back country, "it ain't gonna happen". More than "something of God" is here and always has been. The people are of Him and many of the insights and scriptures and confrontative debates bear good fruit if the hearer allows. To debate the formal wrongs of public ministers who are examples and to champion love and correction with redemption and hope harnessed with accountability is of God. To expose false hood or to abase the proud and to be uncomfortable with and to confront with dilegence like others have and myself, those who are using a man and his ministry to perpetrate their own controls or egotism, is of God. To learn to love those we disagree with and to bless and not curse and to examine ourselves and understand how we impact others...that is godly. Why do you black and white so much and throw away the chicken with the bones? God has always been here as long as there is someone He loves silently listening or even angrily posting. His love isn't just magnificent and patient and forgiving towards Carman. There isn't one person in here past or present that God considers less in value than Carman, his mom, his office workers or the people who go to gospel concerts. God is a God of transformation and humbling and purpose. If anyone including Carman comes here and they are provoked to love, or withstood from hating and pride or if they discover some aspect of His purpose or are opened to the possibility of their own wrongs and the responsibility to be willing to be corrected and to be transformed, then God is in it. Hfl speaks words of death and rejection and speaks for herself in God's name and hates and demeans and has no real or genuine motive to impact others for the good. Don't base your spiritual decisions on her words or perspective. If you have a chance, read Galatians and come back sometime with that at the heart of your decisions. God Bless you too and yes, we will see you in Heaven and who knows...maybe at a Carman concert. PS Wouldn't it be great if the supposedly spiritual people on this discussion board could find the good and be thankful for that? The good that is contained in some posts, the good in people, the good in the relief and maturing that happens in discussing somethings that are painful and frustrating? You often have made an effort to create a sense of basic Christian rapport and unity and that means God was using you as His vessel, so He has been here through you. The Body of Christ is like the human body and different parts function very differently than others, so there is something wonderful and valuable about each person and they can go back and learn how to better express their hearts and ideas in the future. If Carman is going to use the world wide web- www- he is going to get some free from censcorship accountability and love, including that love that doesn't look like love to the religious at heart on the web. That is God. At the end of the day, how are we secretly or privately thinking and speaking of the people that are our brothers and sisters? + Are we loving because Jesus commanded us to? + Are we humbling ourselves and taking logs out of our own eyes? + Are we sorry for haughty and hatey words and for the stubborness of our own hearts and for any worship that is not worshipping of the Great God and King our Savior Jesus? + Are we willing and yielded to see and admit to ourselves and others where we are wrong? + Are we making sure that God likes the stands that we take and being soft hearted to know that He might like some stands that others have taken. + Are we making sure that we remember at all times... that we are interacting with His most prized and cherished and developing children, (even if they are 18-30-50-70)? + Are we making sure that we repent and forgive and love and find a way to bless each other no matter what? Have fun on the other website!

I'm not sure when all these posts about Carman ended. But as I began to read them, I began to cry and wonder, how many of you know Carman personally? Well, I do know him and his mom. I used to know them when I was going to Oral Roberts University. You see I'm handicappied, I have Cerebal Palsy. I first met Carman June 18, 1991 backstage at a concert. He took time to personally lay hands on me and pray for me just because I said God told me to tell him to. Even though he was tired and probaly resting in his bus, he came to pray for. There wasn't group, it was just me, my friend, David Young (Carman's road manager at the time) and Carman. The next summer I started attending Oral Roberts University. Being miles away from home, I had to choose a new church, many of my new friends went to Higher D so I did. It was Carman's home church. He remembered me and I never once walked up to him at church, yet whenever he saw me he would come and give me a hug or a pat on back, ask me how I was doing. A year later he had a casting for his video 1955. Although hundreds of people applied, Carman and his ministry staff made sure I was in the video. Being handicapped this was a big deal to me, he didn't care that I was handicapped, he still let me be in his video. When I'm around him I feel the presence of God so strong, I've never met another human being where I've felt the presence of God so strongly. And as far as his mom goes she is a very nice lady, she always talked to me and gave me a hug. So before you go judging people maybe you should realize there's only one Judge and that is JESUS CHRIST. If Carman does do anything wrong keep in mind he is human and that between him and God not him and everyone else. As long as we are in the flesh we all are going to sin, I don't care who you are, unless one are one of the Trinity. Keep in mind we all sin and fall short of the glory of God each and every day whether we want to admit it or not. It's only by God's grace and mercy we are saved. So the next time you go judging Carman or anyone else, try pulling the plank out of your own eye first. |

Some type of camera because the Lord says that he touched God's annointed(gentle soul that he is) with security cameras and a photo. Now that is so nice thank you. A curtain rod is a very strong tool that holds up heavy curtains. I do hold up many people, but not those who are wimps. They can't hold up anything but their mouths. That's the only tool that they have like you that's strong, because they use it all the time. Other than that they aren't strong enough to hold up anything else. As for me I'll continue to be a rod, and use it to bust up the enemies head. If the devil brings the fight my way. I'll splatter his head open myself right on the curtained wall, and all of his demons right along with him. Just like King David in the Bible I will face the enemy anytime face to face. As for the sour lime pie you know where you can shove it too. I also will not lighten up where Saton's concerned ever. To lighten up is to be weak like you, and I am not a weak link, but a force in God's battle grounds. |
