Better educated young people are discovering these websites. Some workers have discouraged the friends from visiting these websites which has caused some people to search those sites out of curiosity. Workers have called those who write the websites "enemies of Truth" and warned the saints that "Satan' is behind the websites who slander God's perfect way on the earth. |

There is an online community of former and currently professing folks with extensive knowledge about the "Truth" of the workers and Friends. There is no way some head worker can risk the possibility of driving more professing people "out of the way" by trying to discredit these websites in the future. And the workers are going to have to come clean about the role of the turn of the 20th century Irish workers in founding the nameless Truth Meetings Sect. |

A famous book about the "Truth" is the Secret Sect book by Doug and Helen Parker. John Hardie, an Aussie head worker, wouldn't allow Doug to join the work. So Doug started researching the secret origins of the "Truth" fellowship. In the last 8 years, the internet information about "The Truth" has exploded! Finally more people are learning about the fellowship and feeling like the chains of bondage are falling off! And with the information about "The Truth", fewer friends are feeling like the workers know everything about Christian living. It is getting harder to get younger professing people to submit to the workers these days. |

The websites about "the Truth" fellowship are causing the friends to start questioning the doctrine, history and power structure of the fellowship/the work. However, some professing people are fearful of these websites claiming they are written by "bitter exes" who want to "destroy God's way". Formerly professing people who post internet information about "The Truth" are referred to as "enemies of Truth or God's way". Satan is said to behind this effort to educate members/general public about the various aspects of the fellowship. Lots of workers warn the friends about how Satan could blind us to seeing God's way as true. And we hear about weak saints who became influenced by the enemies of truth and "lost out" or left the fellowship. Once you cease going to meetings, you cannot be saved unless you return to meetings again! |

Workers criticize former members as "enemies of Truth" or the anti-Christ who publish material about the "truth" on the internet. Workers try to discourage the friends from using the computer for any reason other than "business". Workers feel that the information on the internet about "the fellowship" could weaken the faith of the weak saints or borderline saints. Workers fear that more younger professing people will leave the "Truth" as the information about the fellowship becomes widespread. |

Some of the senior workers who are so opposed to the websites written by the "enemies of God's way" have NEVER visited any of them. Yet these older workers are so upset that "enemies of God's way" are spreading lies and hate on the internet. Several workers in the 1990s would get on the convention platform and speak out against the internet in general. Nathan McCarthy, Charles Thain, and others would really get bent out of shape when speaking about the sins of the internet. And you know what? Some professing people got rid of their internet access for awhile until a younger worker brought in a laptop with internet access!! It is amazing how the friends rely upon the workers to identify what is wrong! |

Lots of younger professing people are searching the internet to find out more about a fellowship they were reared in! When the workers speak out against the awful stuff about "God's people" on the net, they are only increasing the curiosity of the younger friends! Willie Pollock in a letter described the internet information about the truth as "poison". The more the workers criticize the "enemies of Truth", the more the professing people are going to be curious about online complaints against the fellowship! |

The workers want to warn people about the awful stuff on the internet because they know many things about "The Truth" doesn't make sense. But the workers say "we can't trust our own human reasoning". Folks the workers are scared and paranoid. Professing people can read about the experiences of others. The support has led to many exits from the fellowship in my field. |

Early History of the "Moore" family (4 generations professing) In 1921 Ray Bonds & Orin Taylor held gospel meetings near Wayside & Happy, Texas. Mrs. Lizzie Schaeffer (my great-great grandmother) & her daughter,Anna Schaeffer later married to Ed Moore. They made their choice & professed in those 1st gospel meetings held at Fairview schoolhouse, along with Bob Bryan (My dad's uncle). In the fall of 1921, the 1st Convention was held near Antelope Flat, Texas, where Hubert Childers professed & shortly went into the work in 1922. The 1st fellowship meetings were started near Wayside & Happy, Texas, at Lizzie Schaeffer's home in 1921. The Wed. night bible study meetings were held in Bill Bryan's home. Lizzie Schaeffer & a few others attended there, along with her two daughters, Anna & Violet. Violet Bryan was later married to Bob Bryan, who used to be a worker. Violet Bryan professed & made her choice to serve Jesus in 1922, at the Antelope Flat Convention. A Special meeting was held in the Schaeffer's home in 1924. Two sister workers, Eva Thompson & Edna Blackburn held some gospel meetings in my great-grandparents home, near Wayside & Happy, Texas in Dec. 1930-1931. This where Berlin Raymond professed in July 1931 & he went into the work in 1932. The year that Convention was 1st held at J.W. Byrd's farm. My grandma, Pearl Wood (My mom's mom) professed in Berlin Raymond's gospel meetings at Happy, Texas in 1940. The gospel meetings were held in a machine shed at Johnny Byrd's farm & Convention grounds, which is maintained by Joe & Anna Price, until this present time period. +++ Can Ira Hobbs or any other Texas worker justify removing Chad Moore's website? Read the information above: What is so wrong about Chad Moore posting the information above? I hope other professing people in Texas will start putting pressure on the workers to stop limiting free speech! Oh I forgot, a "Servant of God" is above the law since laws were written by human beings! Professing people often justify worker control because this is what they were used to growing up in a professing home where the workers were highly esteemed! |

Workers warn professing people to "stay off these websites" because "they are influenced by bitter enemies of truth who aren't willing and seeking to take their own way". Workers believe that Satan is behind the movement of formerly professing people who seek to expose erroneous beliefs about the group! It sends cold chills up my spine to think about the friends and workers who are too fearful to visit the websites written about this nameless sect!! Workers do a good job keeping some people away from these sites. If you weren't raised in this sect, you cannot understand the power the workers hold over the friends! Friends are afraid to disobey the workers!! Workers know many of their beliefs don't make sense. And the workers want the professing people and those "on the outside" to know as little as possible about these websites. Workers cannot and will not even discuss the issues being discussed. Workers just want everyone to separate from the world and enjoy being around each other and getting to meetings. |

Why do the workers think people who post information about their group are bitter? Why do they say former members who point out flaws in the "Truth" have a "wrong spirit?" Why do the friends fear the information written about the truth way?? I dare some worker to come to any message board on the internet about the "truth" and refute anything written about their faith/fellowship!! Workers are afraid they might get confused. They are afraid to think or reason!! They are so afraid of losing their salvation. The workers should locate these sites and try to disprove them if they think they are misleading or wrong. I DARE ONE WORKER TO POST TO THIS MESSAGE BOARD! Explain the dress code, only wayism, power abuse of certain "head workers", and many other problems. Why stick your heads in the sand and think that this fellowship is a perfect way that Jesus established??? WHY!! |

It burns me up that Texas head worker Ira Hobbs has demanded that Chad remove his website! Who the heck does Ira Hobbs think he is? I don't understand why the workers tell the friends how the live their own lives and how the friends just obey and submit. There is NO WAY that photos of some old convention ground in Texas or Oklahoma could damage the "kingdom"! The workers don't want non-members to know much about their secretive sect which is going to cause more people to research their group. Texas head worker Ira Hobbs did the friends a disservice by his heavyhanded ways in Texas. |

The workers are so guarded and secretive about many things that take place in the "truth". Even trivial things like staff assignments, special meeting/convention visits, money given to the workers, and worker's sickness is kept secret from the friends for a certain period of time. Workers don't want the friends spreading any information about their group to members outside their group! Chad Moore had a website that promoted the truth but the workers want their group to be secretive to outside members. Workers don't want the friends to tape meetings or pass around notes (this does occur). Workers consider those who post information about their "truth" meetings to be "enemies of truth" and agents of Satan! You are either a supporter of their group or you are a bitter enemy. |

There is something wrong with any group that won't allow non-members to learn more about their group! Why are the workers being so low profile and secretive? Why are they hiding? If they have the only true way, why don't they shout it from the rooftops? The secrecy of the fellowship gives me the creeps. |

The workers are losing the battle of keeping their way secretive from mainstream society. Internet is allowing "God's people" to learn about the errors in the fellowship. They say "Satan" is behind these websites. Oh well! |

Our dear old brother Arnold Brown used to warn us against reading "hate mail" from the enemies of "truth". And how some had their faith weakened by reading bad things about God's way! Is it faith in God or His Servants? HUH? |

If you question or criticize the workers, you have a bad/wrong spirit. You need to submit to them because they are "God's true servants". If you stop going to meetings, you are taking your own way, relying upon your wicked human reasoning, listening to Satan etc. The workers never admit that their "kingdom" might not be the only true church! They blame the ones who leave the fellowship meetings! |

Thank goodness for the net. Too many workers still want to frown on computers but more friends are going online and learning about the "Truth". Workers like Nathan McCarthy, Charles Thain, Taylor Wood, Ira Hobbs, and the late Arnold Brown were so bitter against "enemies of truth who speak against God's people". But fewer friends are as intimidated by the workers today. |

Well it's about time the younger generation is questioning what doesn't make sense to them!!! The workers are baffled at questions!!! They just have the same old answers...pretty much like the Jehovas witness but we use the King James..they have there own BIble. Cults arguing cults..my cult..... no MINE...no MiNE is the ONLY way to GOD..................no The JHW are right...no the 2X2s.. they can trace their linage from the apostles....NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

If the workers were more open and honest with the friends, they wouldn't be going online to read "hate" messages from the so called "bitter enemies of truth". Think about this. It is too difficult to communicate with many friends and workers. |

For years, the "servants of God" told us over and over that "the truth" didn't have a human founder. They told us Jesus started this fellowship. Now they are trying to claim that this fellowship "restarted" around the turn of the 20th century when Irish workers left all and preached the gospel by faith. The truth is another religion. Man made. Jesus didn't found this religion. This religion didn't exist until 1897! Plain and simple. No Americans professed before 1903. There were no gospel meetings (worker's meetings), special meetings, Sunday morning meetings in worker approved homes, conventions or worker visits before 1903 in USA. There are documents to prove this. George Walker never denied this. |

Workers today still cling to the "only true religion" belief. They still refer to the friends as "God's true people". They still see themselves as "God's true servants". They still preach works instead of grace. They still think you must remain in their religion in order to have a "chance" of being saved. They still damn other clergy as being "false". They bash the collection plate in denominational churches. They still think Jesus ordained meetings in the home and a minister to spend different night in different homes. They are sure they are in the right religion. Yet they don't know if they are saved or not. |
