Mark those who cause divisions and avoid them. A very popular idea within the GGWO leadership that it uses against anyone not in total submission to them in every way. How many times have people been ousted and marked for simply having a conscience and putting it and God above Carl Stevens and his in crowd??? How many times have people been in the situation where they had to choose between doing what's right and doing what Carl and company say??? Many a time. Those who choose to do what is right so many times have found their friends, acquiantances, and even their loved ones turn against them because the leadership of the GGWO told them to or because of their viscious, slanderous marking. Too many friendships, families, and even marriages have been torn apart by this evil divisive marking treatment!!! How many hundreds of posts on FACTNET describe horrible stories of this. Yet GGWO claims that these marking victims are the divisive ones that are to be avoided simply for not fully following GGWO's false teachings. Such a bunch of hypocrites these GGWO leaders are!!!!! If anyone is being divisive, they are!!!!! Look at the results. Hundreds and hundreds of wrecked, DIVIDED up friendships, and other relationships between people!!! We who post on FACTNET didn't divide up people, GGWO did!!! The body of Christ doesn't need this crap. It needs to be unified. Its doesn't need cults like GGWO that isolate themselves from the rest of the body because they don't think the rest of the body measures up to their standards. It doesn't need cults that cut off people and turn everyone against them for not following every whim of the cult's leadership. They are the ones that are to be avoided. Period. Failure to believe a false prophet and refusal to follow him is not being divisive, its doing what is right before God. Exposing the false prophet publicly so others don't get snared by him is also Biblical. God never told anyone to put human authority above His own. Carl Stevens and his henchmen need to accept the fact that they are not perfect and have no special delegated authority over anyone that demands blind, total obedience and trust. They do not have the right to oust, mark, cut off, and alienate those who stand up for what is right and reprove them, of follow God rather than man, or simply leave. God comes first, and no human has the right to exercise total control over anyone or the right to turn everyone else against them for not being their favorite little suckup. Their blatent misuse of the Bible to cut people off from others is an abomination before God that will bring divine judgement at God's time. This will not go on forever. God will have the last word on this issue, whether Carl Stevens or his followers like it or not!!! | ||

Good point Dave. I want the Word of God to be my guide. Its the only sure Word of Prophecy to stand on. Its the only true standard. How sad that GGWO invented its own standard and divides fellowship over loyalty to their standard!!! Terrible that they cut off and condemn the rest of the body of Christ for following the Bible standard instead of their own. | ||

Such a shame that GGWO continues to DIVIDE fellowship over loyalty to the old errant Carl Stevens doctrines and ways. Sad how they won't fellowship with the rest of the body of Christ because they don't thing it measures up to their own man made standards. They think its basically "off". GGWO also divides fellowship over loyalty to the vision of Carl Stevens and is still doing it under Tom Schaller. Ericlaw put up an excellent post quoting Schaller saying he would not fellowship with anyone who wasn't committed to the vision of Carl Stevens and GGWO. The body of Christ has many different parts with different God given visions under the same Lord Jesus Christ. Thats like the hand refusing to fellowship with the foot because the foot isn't a hand. That's crazy!!! Every part of the body of Christ is important. Every part of the body needs fellowship and unity. Dividing fellowship over petty doctrines of man and loyalties to men has got to stop. There's too much division in the body of Christ as it is and it doesn't need more division coming from Stevens, Schaller and their in-crowd on top of it. As God's word says: 1 Corinthians 12:4-7 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. ------ We each have a place and a calling that may differ in it's application but compliments the whole plan of the Lord. No man can order us to submit to that which is not our call. That's called usurping the Holy Spirit's guidance and leading in our lives as believer priests. Bad position to put yourself in. GGWO has been interfering with people's callings for decades. There are seasons or chapters in people's lives composed of differing calls and even relocation to different locales or cities often a time. GGWO presumes that one has to submit to a GGWO pastor for the rest of his/her life which is nothing but arrogant presumption. What if God calls someone to relocate to another city and another church(like a non-GGWO one)?? GGWO refuses to accept this and tries to keep that person in their fold when God is asking them to move on. That's major interference!! All that crap GGWO teaches about geographical will and one pastor for life is one huge load of bull!!! Yes, we do have different functions in the body of Christ!! No one is any better than any one else. No one has the right to presume their little group is so much better than the rest that they can disfellowship the rest of the body. They do not have the right to isolate themselves and keep everyone else out who does not want to be a clone of them. That kind of pride comes before a big fall!!! | ||

It's all about numbers Sidethorn, its all about numbers. Why do you think they started the operation outreach deal. They wanted to hit everydoor in the city. Boy did they promote that one bigtime. I remember going out with bunches of people, that didn't last long though. The last time I went out there was about 6 people on the corner we met at. You want to know why? Because Stevens stopped going. Once in a while he would show up and dang there would be a large crowd. Obviously they weren't there for souls they were there for Stevens. While outside of the fellowship hall one day Stevens had his secretary come to me and ask if I wanted to drive in his car with them to go on outreach. Don't know if he practiced this but he never knocked on a single door, just the secretary, Marr, and I did. | ||

You got that right!!! I've been on one of those Baltimore outreaches myself where they knocked on a lot of doors. They sure went fishing for new members a lot. I do think money plays a big part too. Fish for more potential converts to help fund the cult machine. Try to get them to tithe also to squeeze even more money out of them. Interesting how more people would come when Stevens was around. That does look very suspect. Sounds like some were there for Stevens when that should be entirely for God. I could see Carl's obsession about numbers too. I saw his fishing operation and I saw how he tried to hold onto people even when God was calling them elsewhere. Of course Carl wanted huge numbers of people that would follow him with absolute devotion. Those who thought for themselves and put God and conscience above Carl were ousted, marked, and divided out of fellowship from as many church members and loved ones as possible. Interesting how Carl was so quick to discard people for failure to fully worship himself while always seeking huge numbers of people. Somehow he tried to do both and keep the his cult nation growing. It truly was about numbers, numbers, numbers!!! | ||

And here it is 2007 and GGWO is still dividing up the body of Christ by their us versus them mentality. GGWO leaders want to keep 'the body' or their body separate from the rest of the body of Christ since they presume their GGWO teaching to be uniquely superior and pure unlike everyone elses. How many times have we heard GGWO insiders boast about how you can't find teaching like ours anywhere else??? Unfortunately a whole lot!!! Then when someone leaves GGWO as they question GGWO teaching, they're thrown away like trash, isolated, and the rest of 'the body' at GGWO is told to avoid them completely even if they're a friend or loved one. All too many marriages, bonds between loved ones, and friendships have been wrecked by this prideful, arrogant, divisive behavior of these GGWO leaders. Then these leaders are the same ones who condemn those who leave GGWO or question GGWO as being divisive!! Such hypocrites these people are!!! Certainly they want to isolate anyone questioning them to keep the truth from spreading that will set more people free of GGWO. Certainly GGWO leaders look at those who leave or disagree as spreaders of false teaching and they don't want 'the body' of GGWO contaminated by it. Of course these guys proclaim themselves as so pure, so committed to Christ and the cross, so holy, and so much better Christians than those who don't attend GGWO. Such a bunch a self righteous, divisive con men they are. They act like there's two bodies of Christ. The one fire one which is theirs and the compromising, backslidden one which is everyone else. Then those who leave GGWO or get ousted by GGWO are looked down upon and condemned even more. They're treated like lepers to be avoided and forgotten at all cost. All this so the kingdom of Carl can be maintained and spread. This man serving kingdom that thrives on taking advantage of blindly submissive people tricked into thinking they're in the truly sold out body of Christ when they're really in a man serving personality cult. Its the same old crap. Schaller's at the pulpit continuing on the legacy and kingdom of Carl to further divide the body of Christ based on loyalty to GGWO and Carl while taking advantage of those within their kingdom. These same hypocrites that refuse to fellowship with those who leave and then go on those blitzes in the streets to rake in new converts to exploit. The divisive cult machine goes on. | ||
