Yes The Gates Of Delirium lyrics Yes The Gates Of Delirium lyrics La la, la la la la la la la la la la la la la, la la la. Stand and fight we do consider Reminded of an inner pact between us That's seen as we go And ride there In motion To fields in debts of honour defending Stand the marchers soaring talons Peaceful lives will not deliver freedom Fighting we know, Destroy oppression The point to reaction As leaders look to you attacking Choose and renounce throwing chains to the floor Kill or be killing faster sins correct the flow Casting giant shadows off vast Penetrating force To alter via the war that seen As frictions spans the spirits' wrath ascending to redeem Wars that shout in screams of anguish Power spent passion bespoils our soul receiver Surely we know. In glory we rise to offer, Create our freedom, a word, we utter a word. Words cause our banner, victorious our day Will silence be promised as violence display The curse increased we fight the pow'r and live by it by day Our Gods awake in thunderous roars and guide The leader's hands in paths of glory to the cause Listen should we fight forever Knowing as we do know Fear destroys? Listen should we leave our children? Listen our lives stare in silence Help us now Listen your friends have been broken They tell us of your poison Now we know Kill them give them as they give us Slay them burn their children's laughter On to Hell The fist will run Grasp metal to gun The spirit sings in crashing tones we gain the battle drum Our cries will shrill the air will moan and crash into the dawn The pen won't stay the demon's wings, the hour approaches Pounding out the Devil's sermon Soon oh soon the light Pass within and soothe this endless night And wait here for you Our reason to be here Soon oh soon the time All we move to gain will reach and calm Our heart is open Our reason to be here Long ago, set into rhyme Soon oh soon the light Ours to shape for all time, ours the right The sun will lead us Our reason to be here Soon oh soon the light Ours to shape for all time, ours the right The sun will lead us Our reason to be here |

My THEME song!!! Artist: Rush Album: Signals Title: New World Man Words by neil peart, music by geddy lee and alex lifeson He's a rebel and a runner He's a signal turning green He's a restless young romantic Wants to run the big machine He's got a problem with his poisons But you know he'll find a cure He's cleaning up his systems To keep his nature pure Learning to match the beat of the old world man Learning to catch the heat of the third world man He's got to make his own mistakes And learn to mend the mess he makes He's old enough to know what's right But young enough not to choose it He's noble enough to win the world But weak enough to lose it --- He's a new world man... He's a radio receiver Tuned to factories and farms He's a writer and arranger And a young boy bearing arms He's got a problem with his power With weapons on patrol He's got to walk a fine line And keep his self-control Trying to save the day for the old world man Trying to pave the way for the third world man He's not concerned with yesterday He knows constant change is here today He's noble enough to know what's right But weak enough not to choose it He's wise enough to win the world But fool enough to lose it --- He's a new world man... |

Driving The Last Spike by Genesis album: We Can't Dance (1991), Leaving my family behind me not knowing what lay ahead waving goodbye, as I left them in tears remembering all we'd said I looked to the sky, I offered my prayers I asked Him for guidance and strength but the simple beliefs of a simple man lay in His hands, and on my head (my head) I gave everything that they wanted but still they wanted more we sweat and we toiled good men lost their lives I don't think they knew what for I sold them my heart I sold them my soul I gave everything I had Ah, but they couldn't break my spirit my dignity fought back (fight back) (just fight back) Ah, can you hear me? Can you see? Don't you hear me? Don't you see? We worked in gangs for all we were worth the young boys pulling the wagons We were digging the tunnel, shifting the earth It was then that it happened. No one knew how the cracks appeared, but as it fell they all disappeared stone fell like rain Ah, can an you hear me? Can you see? Don't you hear me? (Can) Can you breathe? The smoke cleared, the dust it settled No one knew how many had died All around there were broken men They'd said it was safe, they'd lied you could hear the cries, you could smell our fear but good fortune that day was mine and it occurred to me that the heart of a good man- it seems is hard to find. Ah, can you hear me? Can you see? (Don't) Don't you hear me? (Don't) Don't you see? We worked, how we worked like the devil for our pay through the wind, through the snow, and through the rain Blasting, cutting through God's country like a knife with sweat stinging my eyes, there has to be a better life But I can hear my childrens' cry I can see the tears in their eyes memories of those I've left behind still ringing in my ears Will I ever go back again? Will I ever see her face again? Cause I'll always remember the night- As they waved goodbye to their fathers We came from the South, we came from the North with picks and with spades and a new kind of order showing no fear of what lies up ahead They'll never see the likes of us again Driving the last spike, lifting and laying the track with blistering hands, the sun burning your back But I can hear my childrens' cry I can see the tears in their eyes oh the memories of those I've left behind they're still ringing in my ears Well I'll always remember that night, As they waved goodbye to their fathers We followed the rail, we slept under the stars digging in darkness, and living with danger showing no fear of what lies up ahead they'll never see the likes of us again. Ah, can you hear me? Can you see? (Don't) Don't you hear me? (Don't) Don't you see? |

To my special one... "Haven't Got Time for the Pain" Carly Simon 1974 All those crazy nights when I cried myself to sleep Now melodrama never makes me weep anymore 'Cause I haven't got time for the pain I haven't got room for the pain I haven't the need for the pain Not since I've known you You showed me how, how to leave myself behind How to turn down the noise in my mind Now I haven't got time for the pain I haven't got room for the pain I haven't the need for the pain Not since I've known you Suffering was the only thing that made me feel I was alive Though that's just how much it cost to survive in this world 'Til you showed me how, how to fill my heart with love How to open up and drink in all that white love Pouring down from the heaven I haven't got time for the pain I haven't got room for the pain I haven't the need for the pain Not since I've known you |

You can play the game, you can act out the part, but you know it wasnt written for you. Tell me how can you stand there, with your broken heart, afraid of playing the fool, One thing can lead to another, It dont take any sacrifice, Oh, Father, and Mother, Sister and Brother, If it feels right, Than dont think twice, Just shower the people you love with love, Show them the way that you feel, Things are gonna be just fine, if you only will, You can run, but you can not hide, This is widely known, Tell me how can you stand there, with your foolish pride, when your all by yourself alone, Once you tell somebody the way that you feel, You can feel it beginning to ease, I guess its true what they say, about the squeaky wheel, always getting the grease, So you just, Shower the people you love with love, Show them the way you feel, Things are gonna be much better, if you only will, do as i say, now, Shower the people you love with love, Show them the way you feel, Things are gonna be just fine, if you only will |

"Limelight" Living on a lighted stage Approaches the unreal For those who think and feel In touch with some reality Beyond the gilded cage Cast in this unlikely role Ill-equipped to act With insufficient tact One must put up barriers To keep oneself intact [Chorus:] Living in the limelight The universal dream For those who wish to seem Those who wish to be Must put aside the alienation Get on with the fascination The real relation The underlying theme Living in a fish eye lens Caught in the camera eye I have no heart to lie I can't pretend a stranger Is a long-awaited friend All the world's indeed a stage And we are merely players Performers and portrayers Each another's audience Outside the gilded cage |

If the tt are not who they say they are (which I have not decided or concluded yet) then this applies. this song comforted me when I left. This is a song that David Crosby wrote called "Laughing". "I thought I met a man, who said he knew a man, That knew what was going on. I was mistaken, only another stranger, that I knew. And I thought I had found a light, to guide me through, My night and all this darkness. I was mistaken, Only reflections of a shadow, that I saw. And I thought I'd seen someone, who seemed at last to know the truth. I was mistaken, Only a child laughing In the sun." |

"Dance of the Dawn" Album : Tales from Topographic Oceans Artist : Yes SHRUTIS: The Revealing Science of God can be seen as an ever-opening flower in which simple truths emerge examining the complexities and magic of the past and how we should not forget the song that has been left to us to hear. The knowledge of God is a search, constant and clear. Dawn of light lying between a silence and sold sources, Cahsed amid fusions of wonder, in moments hardly seen forgotten Coloured in pastures of chance dancing leaves cast spells of challenge, Amused but real in thought, we fled from the sea whole. Dawn of thought transfered through moments of days undersearching earth Revealing corridors of time provoking memories, disjointed but with purpose, Craving penetrations offer links with the self instructor's sharp and tender love as we took to the air, a picture of distance. Dawn of our power we amuse redescending as fast as misused Expression, as only to teach love as to reveal passion chasing Late into corners, and we danced from the ocean. Dawn of love sent within us colours of awakening among the many Won't to follow, only tunes of a different age, as the links span Our endless caresses for the freedom of life everlasting. Talk tothe sunlight caller Soft summer mover distance mine Called out a tune but I never saw the face Heard but not replaced I ventured to talk, but I never lost my place Cast out a spell rendered for the light of day Lost in lights array I ventured to see, as the sound began to play What happened to this song we once knew so well Signed promise for moments caught within the spell I must have waited all my life for this Moment moment The future poised with the splendour just begun The light we were as one And crowded through the curtains of liquid into sun And for a moment when our world had filled the skies Magic turned our eyes To feast on the treasure set for our strange device What happened to wonders we once knew so well Did we forget what happened surely we can tell We must have waited all our lives for this Moment moment moment |

"Dance of the Dawn" cont. Star light movements in seasons Release forward Tallest rainbow Sun shower seasons Life flower reasons They move fast, they tell me, But I just can't believe that I can feel it There's someone, to tell you, amidthe challenge we look around in unison with you Getting over overhanging trees Let them rape the forest Thoughts would send our fusion Clearly to be home Getting over wars we do not mean Or so it seems so clearly Sheltered with our passion Clearly to be home They move fast, they tell me, But I just can't believe they really mean to There's someone, to tell you, And I just can't believe our song will leave you Skyline teacher Warland seeker Send out poison Cast iron leader And through the rhythm of moving slowly Sent through the rhythm work out the story Move over glory to sons of old fighters past. Young Christians see it from the beginning Old people feel it that's what they're saying Move over glory to sons of old fighters past. The move fast, they tell me, But I just can't believe they really mean to There's someone, to tell you, A course towards a universal season Getting over overhanging trees let them Rape the forest, they might stand and leave them Clearly to be home Getting over wars we do not mean We charm the movement suffers Call out all our memories Clearly to be home We've moved fast We need love A part we offer is our only freedom What happened to this song we once knew so well Signed promise for moments caught within the spell We must have waited all our lives for this Moment moment Past present movers moments we'll process the future, but only To touch him we know, send flowered rainbows That chased flowers of dark and lights of songs To you, show all we feel for and know of, cast round, Youth is the truth accepting that reasons will relive And breathe hope and chase and love For you and you and you |

"The Prophet" Album : Time and a Word Artist : Yes (Anderson/Squire) Long ago a tall man told a tale of yesterday, Searching for the truth to life and not for just a way. Finding pleasure from this house his ears, they did obey; In his life a moment's pleasure, never to delay. He was lost and in his trust he found a new meaning; Seeing the things in diff'rent lights his life was redeemed. Words of peace will fill his mind and change his way of life; Peaceful meetings with his heart have made him more alive. Meeting wise old women on the cliffs of life itself; Asking not for pers'nal meaning, more for just himself. Soon we'll be as he proclaimed in a new way of living; Take the things you need in life but remember the giving. Prophesy within your mind and you will work it out; Prophesy that some will die but only those who doubt. Then you'll never worry as sometimes you used to do; Just remember when you're gone there's someone after you, you. |

"The One" Album : Keys to Ascension Artist : Yes Never underestimate the loving How we intertwine our very soul How we fill each other's spaces To lose control When you're talking be the children Who stand on solid ground Never underestimate the giving That will bring you round I'll be there To bring you this love in the morning I'll be there To bring you the stars at night I'll be there just waiting to hear you singing Never underestimate a giver The gift of love will surely be When you're asking for the secret To set you free When you're talking to the friendship That love of higher self This gift of love is The answer to all your doubts Be the one, giving in to love Never let the good in life desert you Be the one, giving in to love Never let the fools destroy your dreams Be the one, giving in to love I can dream myself every minute So how did we become Masters of limitation? I'll be there I'll be there I'll be there To make it right for you Giving in, giving in to love It's the balance of this everyday feeling Giving in, giving in to love Without love our dreams become illusion Giving in, giving in to love I can hear you singing every minute So you can sing the song, and see the truth |

This one really speaks to me... "Parallels" Album : Yesshows Artist : Yes (Squire) When you've tried most everything and nothing's taking you higher. When you come to realize, you've been playing with fire. Hear me when I say to you, it's really down to your heart. It's the beginning of a new love in sight. You've got the way to make it all happen. Set it spinning turning roundabout. Create a new dimension. When we are winning we can stop and shout making love towards perfection. I've been all around the world and seen so many faces. Young and old a story told, filling in my spaces. Now without a trce of doubt I feel it every hour. It's the beginning of a new love inside. Could be an ever opening flower. No hesitation when we're all about to build a shining tower. No explanations, need to work it out. You know we've got the power. Parallel our sights. And we will find, that we, we need, to be, where we, belong. Parallel our heights display our rights, and wrongs, and always keep it--STRONG. It's the beginning of a new love in sight. Could be an ever opening flower. No explanations, need to work it out. You know we've got the power. It's the beginning of a new love inside. You've got the way to make it all happen. Set it spinning turning roundabout. Create a new dimension. When we are winning we can stop and shout making love towards perfection. |

OK, OK! I could go on for hours so I'll quit(for now) I just want to leave you all with this one and its as my heart of hearts wrote this one.... "New Language" Album : The Ladder Artist : Yes Anderson/Squire/Howe/White/Sherwood/Khoroshev I speak from some sort of protection of learning Even tho' I make it up as I go on A special trait is that I've tried To reach all feelings So I speak a new language of love Some say that it is written in the circle Others that it is written in the sun But I protect myself by seeing this experience As a metaphor for moving on Sometimes I check myself To start to believe in The horoscopes you read everyday They're telling me somethings I really ought to know But then again I like to Then again I learn to Then again I'm running away Vision is coming so fast I can't stop myself Vision forgets who is real On the city streets, people get lost Just waiting for history Pushing the real world away Taking a chance only once in your life Only weakness can stop you from hearing New languages Translate each word As they bring you creation Your voice is the perfect key Is there something that I'm supposed to see Is there something that I'm Supposed to feel I'm with you And I can't help but want to know (Talk to me) Is there something that I'm supposed to teach (Speak to me) Is there something that I'm supposed to find As I reach to the healing in each spoken word For some strange reason time just cannot wait a minute I'm chasing every second before I let go Yesterday my history Dreams are still a mystery This living is a gift I should know Lay it down and let me live the new language Let me learn at every twist every turn Lay it down and let me love the further future Let me know I'm running Let me know I'm learning Let me know I'm moving on Vision is racing so fast I can't stop myself Chasing the reason For all kinds of wondering People embracing these feelings of limbo Just waiting for some kind of truth Taking a chance as it comes only once Only strength can do justice With words of new languages Translate creation To bring you salvation Your voice is the perfect key (Talk to me) Is there something that I'm supposed to see (Speak to me) Is there something that I'm Supposed to feel I'm with you And I can't help but want to know (Talk to me) Is there something that I'm supposed to teach (Speak to me) Is there something that I'm supposed to find As I reach to the healing of each spoken word Taking a chance as it comes only once Only strength can do justice With words of new languages Translate creation To bring you salvation Your voice is the perfect key (Talk to me) Is there something that I'm supposed to see (Speak to me) Is it something that I'm Supposed to feel I'm with you And I can't help but want to know (Talk to me) Is there something that I'm supposed to teach (Speak to me) Is there something that I'm supposed to find As I reach to the healing of each spoken word Is it something that I'm supposed to find As I reach to the healing of each spoken word |

PSALM 139 For the director of music. Of David. A psalm. 1 O LORD, you have searched me and you know me. 2 You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. 3 You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. 4 Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O LORD. 5 You hem me in—behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me. 6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain. 7 Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? 8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, [a] you are there. 9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, 10 even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. 11 If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me," 12 even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you. 13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. 14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. 15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, 16 your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. 17 How precious to [b] me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! 18 Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand. When I awake, I am still with you. 19 If only you would slay the wicked, O God! Away from me, you bloodthirsty men! 20 They speak of you with evil intent; your adversaries misuse your name. 21 Do I not hate those who hate you, O LORD, and abhor those who rise up against you? 22 I have nothing but hatred for them; I count them my enemies. 23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. 24 See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. |

Although I do like this little jingle by ABBA "Waterloo" My, my, at Waterloo Napoleon did surrender Oh yeah, and I have met my destiny in quite a similar way The history book on the shelf Is always repeating itself Waterloo - I was defeated, you won the war Waterloo - Promise to love you for ever more Waterloo - Couldn't escape if I wanted to Waterloo - Knowing my fate is to be with you Waterloo - Finally facing my Waterloo My, my, I tried to hold you back but you were stronger Oh yeah, and now it seems my only chance is giving up the fight And how could I ever refuse I feel like I win when I lose Waterloo - I was defeated, you won the war Waterloo - Promise to love you for ever more Waterloo - Couldn't escape if I wanted to Waterloo - Knowing my fate is to be with you Waterloo - Finally facing my Waterloo So how could I ever refuse I feel like I win when I lose - Waterloo - Couldn't escape if I wanted to Waterloo - Knowing my fate is to be with you Waterloo - Finally facing my Waterloo |

My Brother Esau by the Grateful Dead (picture Jacob singing the song and "the hunter" as being Nimrod) My brother Esau killed a hunter Back in 1969 And before the killing was done, His inheritance was mine. But his birthright was a wand to wave Before a weary band. Esau gave me sleeplessness And a piece of moral land. My father favored Esau, Who was eager to obey All the bloody wild commandments The Old Man shot his way. But all this favor ended When my brother failed at war. He staggered home And found me in the door. [Chorus:] Esau skates on mirrors anymore... He meets his pale reflection at the door. Yet sometimes at night I dream He's still that hairy man, Shadowboxing the Apocalypse And wandering the land. Shadowboxing the Apocalypse And wandering the land. Esau holds a blessing; Brother Esau bears a curse. I would say that the blame is mine But I suspect it's something worse. The more my brother looks like me, The less I understand The silent war that bloodied both our hands. Sometimes at night, I think I understand. It's brother to brother and it's man to man And it's face to face and it's hand to hand... We shadowdance the silent war within. The shadowdance, it never ends... Never ends, never ends. Shadowboxing the Apocalypse, yet again... Yet again. Shadowboxing the Apocalypse, And wandering the land. |

Just yesterday morning they let me know you were gone Susanne the plans they made put an end to you I walked out this morning and I wrote down this song I just can't remember who to send it to I've seen fire and I've seen rain I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end I've seen lonely times when I could not find a friend But I always thought that I'd see you again Won't you look down upon me, Jesus You've got to help me make a stand You've just got to see me through another day My body's aching and my time is at hand And I won't make it any other way Oh, I've seen fire and I've seen rain I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end I've seen lonely times when I could not find a friend But I always thought that I'd see you again Been walking my mind to an easy time my back turned towards the sun Lord knows when the cold wind blows it'll turn your head around Well, there's hours of time on the telephone line to talk about things to come Sweet dreams and flying machines in pieces on the ground Oh, I've seen fire and I've seen rain I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end I've seen lonely times when I could not find a friend But I always thought that I'd see you, baby, one more time again, now Thought I'd see you one more time again There's just a few things coming my way this time around, now Thought I'd see you, thought I'd see you fire and rain, now |

Ring them bells - Bob Dylan 1989 Special Rider Music Ring them bells, ye heathen From the city that dreams, Ring them bells from the sanctuaries Cross the valleys and streams, For they're deep and they're wide And the world's on its side And time is running backwards And so is the bride. Ring them bells St. Peter Where the four winds blow, Ring them bells with an iron hand So the people will know. Oh it's rush hour now On the wheel and the plow And the sun is going down Upon the sacred cow. Ring them bells Sweet Martha, For the poor man's son, Ring them bells so the world will know That God is one. Oh the shepherd is asleep Where the willows weep And the mountains are filled With lost sheep. Ring them bells for the blind and the deaf, Ring them bells for all of us who are left, Ring them bells for the chosen few Who will judge the many when the game is through. Ring them bells, for the time that flies, For the child that cries When innocence dies. Ring them bells St. Catherine From the top of the room, Ring them from the fortress For the lilies that bloom. Oh the lines are long And the fighting is strong And they're breaking down the distance Between right and wrong. |

For those who love music and peace no matter where you happen to live in this world. An eyes-wide-open prayer for peace, "Peace" appears on the album "Esther and the Protesters" by New Orleans-based singer-songwriter Esther Sparks. Esthersparks.com. You can contact the artist directly there. If you are moved by its message, please pass it along. Excerpt: "Oh dear Lord, Please don't just bless America or us here in the West. John Mayer- Belief Is there anyone who ever remembers Changing their mind from the paint on a sign Is there anyone who really recalls ever breaking rank at all For something someone yelled real loud one time Oh everyone believes In how they think it oughta be Oh everyone believes And they're not going easily Belief is a beautiful armor but makes for the heaviest sword Like punching under water, you never can hit who you're trying for Some need the exhibition and some have to know they tried It's the chemical weapon for the war that's raging on inside Oh everyone believes From emptiness to everything Oh everyone believes And no one's going quietly We're never gonna win the world, we're never gonna stop the war We're never gonna beat this if belief is what we're fighting for We're never gonna win the world, we're never gonna stop the war We're never gonna beat this if belief is what we're fighting for Is there anyone who you can remember, whoever surrendered with their life on the line We're never gonna win the world, we're never gonna stop the war We're never gonna beat this if belief is what we're fighting for We're never gonna win the world, we're never gonna stop the war We're never gonna beat this if belief is what we're fighting for What puts a hundred thousand children in the sand Belief can, belief can What puts the folded flag inside his mother's hand Belief can, belief can (Message edited by nabashalam on April 07, 2007) |

The Moody Blues "Question" Why do we never get an answer When we're knocking at the door? With a thousand million questions About hate and death and war. It's where we stop and look around us There is nothing that we need. In a world of persecution That is burning in it's greed. Why do we never get an answer When we're knocking at the door? Because the truth is hard to swallow That's what the wall of love is for. It's not the way that you say it When you do those things to me. It's more the way that you mean it When you tell me what will be. And when you stop and think about it You won't believe it's true. That all the love you've been giving Has all been meant for you. I'm looking for someone to change my life. I'm looking for a miracle in my life. And if you could see what it's done to me To lose the the love I knew Could safely lead me through. Between the silence of the mountains And the crashing of the sea There lies a land I once lived in And she's waiting there for me. But in the grey of the morning My mind becomes confused Between the dead and the sleeping And the road that I must choose. I'm looking for someone to change my life. I'm looking for a miracle in my life. And if you could see what it's done to me To lose the the love I knew Could safely lead me to The land that I once knew. To learn as we grow old The secrets of our souls. It's not the way that you say it When you do those things to me. It's more the way you really mean it When you tell me what will be. Why do we never get an answer When we're knocking at the door? With a thousand million questions About hate and death and war. It's where we stop and look around us There is nothing that we need. In a world of persecution That is burning in it's greed. Why do we never get an answer When we're knocking at the door? |

glad you are here dobman. stick around. you will get eaten alive here. since i have abandoned those god forsaken SC threads i told watchman to give you a little message. since you are following me around i can tell you directly. i am considering sending your posts about mohamed being a spawn of satan to the muslim brotherhood website. how do you feel about that dobman. you know how these people tend to overreact to things like this. yes this is a threat dobman. so don't bother to ask. we are in a war. threats are allowed. who knows if i will carry it out. i just want to see you squirm a bit for all of the unsubstantiated allegations you have made against me. then maybe i will send them anyway. have a nice day dobman. |

Foak, I used to listen to that album over and over in the early 70s! A "Question of Balance"! Need I say more? BTW I was caught up in Arnold Murrays teachings in the early 90s. I even bought a "Companion Bible" and consumed the appendixes by Bullinger! Bull is right! It's full of it!!! http://www.levendwater.org/companion/index_companion.html |

yes naba i have enjoyed the album myself for many years. i just listened to the song i posted the other day. i have the album. it is nice not to have be held down by someone else's rules and regulations. we are free to do as we see fit for our own lives. i apologize for the disruption over here by the SC folks. they started a war with me and since i took their challenge they are not very happy with me. they are now stalking me here. i guess it gives them a reason to exist. they fancy themselves to be warriors for god. they use this as license to say and do whatever they please. it is quite sad that they have been so thoroughly deceived. it is hard to get out when you are in so deep. we have both been there. remember? |

Speaking of catchy tunes, who can forget, "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn!" Those were the days. And of course someone would alway shout from the back of the room, "Yeah, and don't wake the old SOB up!" All those tentacles waving lighters in the air begging for an encore ... you just don't see that anymore. (sniffle) |

Can you get too much Lovecraft? I think not. The bizarre Cthulhu mythology makes as much sense and is as entertaining as any other mythology out there wouldn't you agree? It has the refreshing aspect of only trying to pass as a fictional story as opposed to similar tales about ancient invisible non-human cosmic forces that do not. Also, I've never eaten a 'schroom' although I read some about it and wouldn't be opposed to doing so under certain conditions. There is some speculation that O.T. mana may have been mushrooms. Heard that one? At any rate, I was just trying to be funny by invoking visions of dark alien gods plotting mankind's ultimate demise. Tee-hee. |

Actually the description of Cthulhu on Wikipedia made me think of "The Sirius Mystery" by Robert Temple. The similarities are pretty obvious except for the physical description of the creature, which actually fits more with the "Davy Jones" character on the last two "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies. |

It would be nice if dark alien gods were plotting our demise instead of the truth of the matter. Anything to take away responsibility for our own actions. Unfortunately, I'm pretty confident that dark alien gods would only be watching this mess from a distance like a good pay-per-view show. |

if you all don't mind i think i will take advantage of the current shift in topic to post some new material i have been researching. The most merciful thing in the world ... is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... The sciences, each straining in its own direction, have hitherto harmed us little; but someday the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality... That we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the deadly light into the peace and safety of a new dark age. H. P. Lovecraft http://www.holoscience.com/synopsis.php?page=1 this video is an hr long but well worth the time. Thunderbolts of the Gods |

how much do we really know? not much it seems. "The consequences and possibilities in an Electric Universe are far-reaching. First we must acknowledge our profound ignorance! We know nothing of the origin of the universe. There was no Big Bang. The visible universe is static and much smaller than we thought. We have no idea of the age or extent of the universe. We don't know the ultimate source of the electrical energy or matter that forms the universe. Galaxies are shaped by electrical forces and form plasma focuses at their centers, which periodically eject quasars and jets of electrons. Quasars evolve into companion galaxies. Galaxies form families with identifiable "parents" and "children". Stars are electrical transformers not thermonuclear devices. There are no neutron stars or Black Holes. We don't know the age of stars because the thermonuclear evolution theory does not apply to them. Supernovae are totally inadequate as a source of heavy elements. We do not know the age of the Earth because radioactive clocks can be upset by powerful electric discharges." http://www.holoscience.com/synopsis.php?page=12 |

Everything is Electromagnetic interaction. The actual space that a particle of 'matter' occupies as oppossed to its electromagnetic field is something akin to a fly in a football stadium where the stadium represents the electromagnetic field. When your fingers depress the keys on your keyboard it is the interaction of many electromagnetic fields and not bits of matter that occurs. |

what i want to know is why i have to bend over to pick something up off the floor? it seems to me that the implications of this is that we can attract and repel whatever we choose. maybe i am misunderstanding something? it seems we can do it on a spiritual level why not physically. anyone for a song? this is one of the myriad of descriptions of factnet. "Ah, look at all the lonely people. Ah, look at all the lonely people. Eleanor Rigby picks up the rice in the church where a wedding has been, Lives in a dream. Waits at the window, wearing a face she keeps in a jar by the door, Who is it for? All the lonely people, where do they all come from? All the lonely people, where do they all belong? Father McKenzie, writing the words of a sermon that no-one will hear, No-one comes near Look at him working, darning his socks in the night when there's nobody there, What does he care? All the lonely people, where do they all come from? All the lonely people, where do they all belong? Ah, look at all the lonely people. Ah, look at all the lonely people. Eleanor Rigby died in the church and was buried along with her name. Nobody came. Father McKenzie, wiping the dirt from his hands as he walks from the grave. No-one was saved. All the lonely people, where do they all come from? All the lonely people, where do they all belong?" Eleanor Rigby The Beatles |

Dawkins explains the situation we find ourselves in the universe and what that means to our ability to comprehend it. Our boundaries of Frequency and Scale dictate and confine our perception of reality to a very thin 'band' of what is really going on around us. That indisputable fact, that we are stranded on a small island of perception and comprehension, is why grand cosmologies and theologies invalidate one another as knowledge, perception, and comprehension scale up over time. That is the essence of the universe we find ourselves in and therefore not something to become too distressed about when it demonstrates that all human concepts and imaginings are by definition illusions or delusions. We can see that as a subset of the whole we cannot logically comprehend the whole but rather are forced to construct a "model" of what we think the "whole" might be based on our exposure to only a very small "part" of that whole. The impossibility of actually constructing an accurate model this way should be obvious to everyone. It would be like trying to construct an accurate model of the Titanic when all you have ever seen of it is the inside of a closet in the laundry. See what I'm getting at? See where this logically and inevitability leads us? (sound of crickets, a lone dog barks in the night) |

The Tribes made a freepaper called "Eleanor Rigby"! Yikes! "First we must acknowledge our profound ignorance!" So how many times have I said "The first step to wisdom is not the fear of God but the fact of realizing you dont know squat!"? and about gravity... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Law_of_attraction http://www.som.org/2laws/universallaws/attraction.htm By the simple act of thinking, vortexes are created, invisible energies are applied, and circumstances begin creeping to make real what was previously just imagined. This supernatural pull of your thoughts continues long after you think them, whenever there follows intent, expectation and action; moving mountains, parting rivers, and doing the "impossible" until there is the inevitable manifestation. This is how your "thoughts becoming things." How they physically become things in a dimension that already exists, with billions of players and massive momentum. Not by appearing out of thin air, but through a manipulation of such forces in the unseen that literally begin shifting, morphing, and arranging all of the elements in your life so as to deliver to you the nearest equivalent of what you've been thinking. In other words, the "law of attraction." "Thoughts becoming things" explains the law of attraction. It's why there is a law of attraction. And unlike any other 3 words in all the vocabularies of all the languages in the world, "thoughts become things" tells you exactly where you fit into the picture, as the thinker, the decision maker over what you will think about, revealing your power as a supernatural, all powerful, unlimited, CREATOR. But, of course, many prefer not to think of themselves as so phenomenally powerful. |

nab, I don't really buy into the whole The Secret/What the Bleep do we know? "We create reality." business. If it were true then it would have to be universally true and doesn't explain why someone would create realities for themselves where they starve, are tortured, or are poor does it? I would agree that there appears to be something 'like that' going on sometimes but I believe that is more reasonably explained by taking into account our focus of attention and intent in bringing things about and recognition of expected patterns. However, I have come to believe that if one comes to accept the universe as it presents itself rather than demanding that things not be "as they are" but some other way, that the universe works better for the person. Which if you come to think of it is almost the opposite of the popular "law of attraction" made famous by "The Secret" and "What the Bleep" isn't it? Our appreciation for and harmonious coexistence with the universe, life, and everything (a.k.a 42) seems to have something to do with how things go ... or so it would seem sometimes. The philosophical metal to accept tragedy and victory with the same enthusiasm seems to be a key component to getting along with the universe. Would you not agree? Thunderbolts of the Gods was fantastic! I had read about this theory years ago concerning comets. This presentation is certainly more compelling. It explains a lot and doesn't break anything that I can think of off hand. Excellent find dude! Now for some lyrics, "Speed of Lightening! Roar of Thunder! Underdog! UnderDOG! UNDERDOG!" |

Is there no end to what ones minds can conceive. Are some to be doomed forever to feel in touch, with what some one else might feel with delight and glee. Some are sure touch, and sight hold no boundries, and in this do we all agree? If should one touch a lit candle are we to suppose a feeling of delights with a new found zeal. Is forever in the boudaries when one speaks of galictic wonders, could thoughs thoughts of a universes ever hold a candle to what one could precieve. When one sings of new found old rock songs, are they only a refuge or of a yet new found space to explore. Are conceptions outrages, in and of themselves, held within the bounderies of a closed mind. If so should not one then open this closure to reality. As to only then see what might begin. Is there a continuem in space and time yet before us. Will all mans questions go unanswered through out eternity. These, and many more do have an answer. Though some shall never see. For it's to be had by only those who take a leap accross all concieved thoughts, reach out , and touch the face of God. |

Jn. 12: 23-25 23And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. 24Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. 25He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. Lk. 9:22-24 20He said unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Peter answering said, The Christ of God. 21And he straitly charged them, and commanded them to tell no man that thing; 22Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day. 23And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. 24For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. |

Dear FOAK: John. 12: 23-25 This corn of wheat is actually a single grain of wheat. The old translators on many occasions it seems confused more than they enlightened. Anyways what Jesus was attempting to say was his death was a single event. That being this single corn of wheat falling to the ground in death. Yet through this single event it bringeth forth much fruit. That meaning through Jesus's death all life will one day be made new. If we were to only love this life and not hold Jesus as the key to life we shall loose our life. In Lk.9:20-24 Peter answered corectly in that Jesus was the Christ. Now here we might seem it odd that Jesus then told him at that time not to tell any. If every one concerned were to fully understand who Jesus actually was. There would have been no nailing to the cross. The prophets had proclaimed what must take place, and Jesus new his works here on earth also ment for him to be the perfect sacrafice. So had there been no cross there would be no salvation through Crist name. As for the verses23-24 These are speaking of mans need to drop his thoughts of living for today only, and concider the larger picture in the life yet to come. let us never cast another stone! |

thanks for the interpretation dobman. you understand of course that i did not post those verses because i did not know what they meant, right? i do not remember asking for an interpretation any way. since your interpretation has nothing to do with the context of the discussion one would have to think i had a completely different idea of what those verses meant. you reap what you sow, as the saying goes. i hope god knows what he is doing. i wonder sometimes. Then your SC stalker comes here and starts banging his doctrinal drum. yes naba i am well aware of exactly what has happened and what is currently happening on this thread. maybe you should take a trip down memory lane and read how things got off track. then if you still have a problem; you could articulate it in a way that is more accurate and less threatening. Authority? How deluded can you get? i already asked you to pardon me if my statement was deluded. you do remember the threatening manner in which you originally approached this problem don't you? it was hard not to think you were trying to exercise some kind authority. |

nab, Graham Hancock talks about plants and DMT in this radio interview. I can't say I agree with all of his conclusions but it is interesting nonetheless and in the same vein as the pharmacological stuff you watched/listened to earlier. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7nJIqz2D_Y I think it breaks down to this. The play in our heads (manufactured by the brain using data from our senses) is subject to the whims of our biochemistry. When that chemistry is changed we can have 'spiritual' experiences, 'alien abduction' experiences, and numerous other experiences all dependent on the particular chemical and our brains reaction to it. Imbalances or changes can also occur in our brains naturally through disease or aging effecting our cognitive functions which give us visions, hallucinations, and so forth. Many religious visions and so on are clearly 'hallucinations' of this type. 1. Supernaturalism is largely based on an incorrect interpretation of abnormal perceptions that have a natural biological causes. 2. Common sense and Occam's Razor point toward this natural (inside the brain) explanation for supernatural experience as oppossed to the (outside of the brain) 'other dimensional' explanation. |

hey TO, naba expressed a concern last night that this thread was being used for something other than what it was intended for. i was thinking maybe we could start a new thread somewhere else to discuss these things? perhaps we could wait for a response from naba so that he would be aware of the change and be able to follow the discussion. i understand his concern. it may cause those that want to discuss the TT to think that the original focus has changed. |

nabashalam... can i contact you? is there any way to private message on this board? ObSong: This is my theme song. Probably soon to change. Althea by Garcia/Hunter (Althea is "truth" in greek) I told Althea I was feeling lost, lacking in some direction. Althea told me upon scrutiny that my back might need protection. I told althea that treachery was tearing me limb from limb. Althea told me better cool down boy, settle back, easy Jim. You may be saturdays child, all alone, moving with a pinch of grace. You may be a clown in the burial ground, or just another pretty face. You may meet the fate of Ophelia, sleeping and perchance to dream. Honest to the point of recklessness, self-centered in the extreme. Ain't nobody messing with you, but you. Your friends are getting most concerned. Loose with the truth, baby, its your fire, but baby don't get burned. When the smoke has cleared, she said, this what she said to me: Gonna want a bed to lay your head and a little sympathy (wink). There are things you can replace, and others you cannot. The time has come to weigh those things. This space is getting hot, you know this space is getting hot. I told Althea Im a roving sign, and I was born to be a bachelor. Althea told me, okay, thats fine, so now Im trying to catch her. Cant talk to you without talking to me, were guilty of the same old thing. Thinking a lot about less and less and forgetting the love we bring. It's interesting how different people resonate with different artists. I for one can't seem to sync with Yes or Rush, but the Dead and Led Zeppelin, sure! I guess I am more for the intuitive, nonritualistic, entheogen-soaked Bacchus-worship, rather than the ritualised, form-honoring witchcraft... ;D |
