Tony Alamo is an abuser of under age children. He orchestrates and sanctions the marriages between young female children and older men. A few cases are: Jackie Garner at 12 years old was married to Dale Shono (a 30 year old). Wendy Tiner married at 12 yrs old to a much older man. Rachel Scheff at 13 years old married to Tom Neverdal (age 22), an illegal alien from Europe. On March 5th 2006 the Ft. Smith, Arkansas police department was alerted to an illegal wedding between 13yr old Leah Willis to a 34 year old ex-convict. Alamo’s followers are so afraid of being kicked out of the group, put on extended fasts, or beaten that they willingly do whatever tyranny he dictates, including giving these men their young, innocent 12 and 13 year old daughters as brides. Tony Alamo is a striker (has ordered the brutal beatings of countless men, women, and children for well over 35 years and in some instances administering the beatings himself). He has been drunk on numerous occasions, at which point he beat and/or raped one or more of his many wives all the while professing to be a holy man of God. Tony Alamo is a plagiarist (changing a few paragraphs then claiming authorship of Fred John Meldau’s the Messiah Book) all the while professing to be a holy man of God. Tony Alamo is a deceiver for profit. His organization, Arm Full of Help, is a front to fund his lavish lifestyle, his radio broadcasts, and the enormous amounts of literature produced and distributed annually to propagate his radical agenda. Tony Alamo is an opportunist. He uses his followers for his own gain by taking all that they have and leaving them no way out (even if they wanted out) and living lavishly off of their efforts. They give him everything and get beaten, starved, and raped in return and they call him “World Pastor”. They obey his every wish. | ||

Did you know this? Whenever Tony Alamo got wind of the brothers and sisters receiving birthday money from their parents or grandparents or other relatives or friends outside the joint through the mail. Tony Alamo would tell the congregation, "You have to turn that money in." One incident, a couple's parents sent their grandchild money for his birthday. When Tony found out the parents spent the money and bought a birthday present for him, there was a big scene and Tony kicked them out. At the end of the phone call, Tony decided to let them stay. Talk about a DICTATORSHIP & CONTROLLING every facet of people's personal lives. | ||

On the other hand it was OK to go around and collect money for a nice birthday gift and have a party & cake, etc. for tonee. He never objected to that. He ate all the Tony worship right up. I have a couple photos of that going on. | ||

I am a witness to this: It was ok for Tony & Susan to live high off the hog spending our hard-earned money that we earned by the sweat of our brow. Our hard-earned money was good enough for them to spend foolishly and extravagantly and lavishly on themselves for clothes, jewelry, expensive cars, a magnificent mansion, lavish foods, etc., BUT not good enough for us to spend on ourselves, on our children on our grandchildren, and other of our loved ones, i.e., parents and siblings. They made many of us live in squalor, poverty and disgusting, unsanitary filth in comparison to the way they lived. Then Tony Alamo called us filthy names over the pulpit, degrading and demeaning us with foul language. This is their legacy and is the way they treated the precious sheep & lambs in the Body of the Lord Jesus Christ. Then he turns out to be a PERVERT PEDOPHILE proclaiming himself a "world pastor." Now we know that all along this is what was really in his wicked heart - lusting his eyes out for underage little girls that he could rape and defile. Wickedness beyond description. | ||

I love the following post which was posted on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 by Worm Can Opener. It depicts so clearly and succinctly how Tony Alamo has achieved, and continues to maintain his power and control over his minions who are willing to give that power to him. Things like "smiting" always leak out. I'm certain that everyone knew of at least one smiting episode. This was top priority to toni alamo, that every person fear toni, to the best of toni's ability. toni, alone, could never scare the whole congregation, he had to have certain people, who would act as hierarchy, subordinate to toni's every command. It WORKED !! always, in the back of every functioning mind, there was that fear of being smitten. If it were not for that, there wouldn't have existed the "fear of toni" what could anyone really do, if they were, say, at the spec house, and decided they were going to let toni know that they were aware of what his story really was, and started reproving him, right to his face. all of us knew the dedication of the members of the hierarchy, he would have yelled to them, the poor person would have been ridiculously outnumbered, and not have been able to escape, either. there you go, that's why not only smiting, but THE FEAR OF BEING SMITTEN, kept everyone under, in toni's ruthless, dictatorial regime. During W.W. 2, the Jews weren't afraid of Hitler, they feared the Gestapo ! Hitler was not rounding up the Jews, his hierarchy were, Hitler didn't run the concentration camps, his faithful minions did, even the Jews were given a part in the "aktion", they were assigned to whipping their fellow Jews, as they unloaded from the cattle-cars. True comparison Mac. I remember hearing back in the 80's that during an encounter with Charlie Pride, the country western singer, that Charlie sucker punched Tony for something Tony said to him. Wonder if anybody knows if there is any truth to that. Hitler had his camp infiltrated at one point and an individual almost offed him. But subsequent to that failure, Hitler decided to off himself, and he did not fail. I remember how Tony focused on the scriptures concerning tithing all to the good of the club, club Tony, else you should drop dead like Annias(sic) and Saphira. And also that times were tuff because there was an Aiken in the camp. Yes, there was, Tony, my Aiken back, Alamo. The outfit must be much discomforted now in increased levels of paranoia(which was learned from Tony) and the elevated security they must feel necessary to shield themselves from attack from righteousness from many fronts even as such indirectly as the expose from the SPLC.
