I would like to start off with,a pop corn testimony,It was many many years ago when a couple of witnessers from the Tony and Susan Alamo Christian foundation,where on the streets in hollywood California passing out a little Gospel tract,while I noctice that others where out there just standing around waiting for some one to aproach them,these witnessers aproached me and witnessed to me and and then the Spirit of God came down on me and let me know that,my gig was up.I went to the church service and I did not here tony and susans testimony,because they where in another state,but I heard testimonies of Brothers and Sisters who found that perfect peace,a peace that I wanted and I did recieve that day,since that day my life has been such an adventure,that only someone who has been there and done that could possibly understand.I am so very thankful for the brothers and sisters who have taken up the cross before me and helped to prepare a place for me and others,who wanted to truely serve God in a very powerful way,It is truely a joy and experience,that only the Blood Washed know. | ||

Don, Great to see you posting again. You are right when you said don't know how much more we could say about Tony to convince people of his great evils and atrocities against God, His people and mankind. I know you didn't mean that we shouldn't just keep repeating it over and over but I just thought this would be a good opportunity to say I'm glad we do keep on saying it and exposing him for the horrifically evil things he is doing and has done in the past. Also, additional things surface from memory as people do recall more and more things from the past which all helps to cast enlightenment on the whole experience we all had together. This helps ex-members and everyone put the past, well in some cases you could call it a nightmare, into perspective. Helps people sort things out, come to grips with and, prayerfully and hopefully, come to a place of healing. It's amazing how we survived all of that. A lot of damage, spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally. Like it's been said many times here, Tony has a lot to answer for. In many, many cases he has totally damaged people through his gross ill-treatment of them, rotten testimony and example, his enormous hypocrisy and gigantic ego, his vicious tongue, his rotten temper and temper tantrums and hopefully through this forum it can and will help people to come to a place of healing. Many have gone on in their walks with the Lord in spite of Tony's evil and the damage he inflicted, but many others have been thrown for a loop and fallen backward and some have a more distant, suspicious, cautious, reluctant outlook on things now and really need our help, our prayers and encouragment. Anyway, glad to have you here and to read your uplifting and encouraging posts. | ||

Does anyone know the whereabouts of Dave Coates? He is from Idaho originally. He was a good solid bass clarinet player I enjoyed playing next to, and I had a lot of good times and laughs with Dave. He was always a bright spot in my Christian walk. He was always upbeat, really loved the Lord, hard working brother. The last time I saw him was on the ridge in the middle 80s. He was driving semi. I have done Internet searches many times and just can't find him. Would really appreciate it if someone could let me know. Thanks! | ||

last tuesday I beleive it was,I had telemarketer called my house,and started to go on,and I was going to say the wrong thing first,and tell him to take my name off of their calling list and that I was not intrested,but I was told in my head to shut up and listen first,so my inner me did shut up,and listen,then,I was able to be used by God to pray him through,right then.. jackrussell, I think alanb is comfortable around people who don't bring his behavior into question. There are a lot of "Christians" that say it is okay to be a homosexual or adulterer. Some "churches" have homosexual pastors or pastors living in adultery or that are fleecing the sheep. Maybe that's one of the reasons alanb is here, to hear from real Christians that it's not okay to be a homosexual. I don't think he will hear it from bill_l or the Right Reverend Gene Robinson. Charity includes believing all things and doesn't behave unseemly. I also think that answering questions is avoided by saying this forum is only about Tony Alamo.
