I’ve been a bit silence and have kept my peace. I’ve been careful of what I say on this forum because of my son sake. But enough is enough! I’m sure by now they all know who I am anyways. Plus I’m sure they know better than to bet my son. I will have them all in court so fast their heads will spin. I simply can’t just sit around and let my son go though this nightmare without saying a word. My son is suffering in that place. I was eating dinner earlier tonight and I just felt like crying because I remember that my son is not allowed to eat meat or drink milk or have anything with dairy. I found this out the last time he was with me. It seems TA is withholding needed nutrition from the people in that place. I don’t know the full story but TA says there is rocket fuel in milk & meat. My son growth is now being stunned because his father is too brainwashed to see what is happening. Can someone tell me when TA because a MD? | ||

Tony makes stuff up on the fly. Meat and Milk are expensive. Found any legal representation. So they are malnourish children now! I hate the insanity Tony exudes. If I had no lawyer I would serve the papers myself. Or have the sent FedEx. I'm all the way in LA but I will pray. As long as I can stay wake. I will be in the hospital this week. Exmember, I live in Fouke and have seen first hand the way little boys are required to spend long days working the flowerbeds in front of Alamo's church. What kind of accreditation does this "school" have? What are the credentials of the teachers? Do they have degrees in child education? Who do they report to? How many of the graduates of this school go on to higher education? What is the graduation rate? | ||

Tony got a bug up his butt back in the late '70's to open a school so that the children of the members would have NO outside interaction with the "outside world". He made up and crowned himself President of the American Association Of Christian Schools and selected members from within the group (some who had never even graduated from high school) to be the teachers. A few of the teachers did have some college, but none that I know of had a degree or were credentialed to teach. When Susan was alive she was concerned about appearances and ran the school with an iron-fist. The ABeka Christian Curriculum was used. Children were often beaten for bad grades. After her death in 1982 good teachers were removed from teaching for the slightest infraction of Tony's rules (things that often had nothing to do with teaching). Or if these teachers were needed in another job, one that made $$$, Tony would pull them out of the school and replace them with an unqualified babysitter. Also, once he got on his "vatican kick" he started eliminating school subjects. First the teachers were required to black out whole chapters out of the history and science books. Then when the children were required to go "set rhinestones" for hours a day for Alamo Designs, tony eliminated History and Science subjects altogether. They were taught math and english and then went to work. If a child got in trouble for any minor infraction Tony would often expel them from school for a month or two months. At the school on Windsor Ave in FT Smith many days the children would show up for school and would be told their teacher had gotten kicked out of the school or kicked out of the alamo group, or that there teacher was busy on another job tony had deemed more important. There would most likely be no substitute teacher and the child often did not have school for weeks or months to come. It was a really disgusting situation. Usually at Windsor the girls had a more regular teacher than the boys. Wehn the boys didn't have a teacher it was up to the parents to find something for their kids to do so that they could go to work. Any boys over ten years old were sent off on work crews usually. Higher education is unheard of...it doesn't fit into Tony's plan. The graduation rate is ZERO! The little girls get married at 12, 13,14 and start having babies. The boys go to work at young ages. Bystander, the comment from floridian is ridiculous and he knows it. He said, "bystander,you can fill out a application for a position as a teacher there." There has never been a teacher that was NOT a member allowed to teach the children. You can not fill out an application to teach there. That is a sad joke. For example, in 1993, Angel Streit, was one of the Foundation kids who did not graduate from high school. She was living in NY and Tony had her return to Arkansas and made her a teacher of the "girls" at 4401 Windsor Drive in Ft Smith. When Tony got the "hots" for Angel she was whisked away to his house overnight and there was no teacher the next day for the girls. As I remember, about a week later Bethany Decker, another woman born, raised, and educated in the alamo group became their replacement teacher. Then we all found out that Angel was Tony's 7th wife. As someone else stated earlier on Factnet, when Tony would come "visiting" at the school mother's would try to hide their daughters from his lusting eyes. SG | ||

The children were beaten for bad grades, (You're talking C's & D's), at the Tony & Susan Alamo Foundation! That was their answer for everything - cruel and harsh words and physical abuse. How about getting those children that were having a difficult time in school a tudor? Getting a tudor would give the child more self confidence and help them in the subjects they needed additional help with. Foundation cure - beat the devil out of them because they are just being lazy! Did Susie even finish high school herself? | ||

In light of the tone of this thread, now’s as good a time as any to pull this hairy-toed devil out of the wood pile… I’ll tell you where the school beatings began. We’re not talking about hand slaps with rulers for the older kids and spankings with little bread boards for the smaller guys. We’re talking full blown, skin-rupturing beatings with specially constructed boards for the tiniest infraction of ‘the rules'. Once this mode of 'correction' was adopted, it quickly went from bad to worse with always the kids (boys and girls) getting the raw end of the deal. While the school was still in Dyer, AR in the old ‘candy’ building, I caught Carlos and Miguel repeatedly kicking Pete Levin in the shins as hard as they possibly could. Pete was taking it with no show of the pain unquestionably being inflicted in an effort to prove how tough and manly he was – obviously a ‘boy’ thing. I rebuked them over the incident telling them why it was not Christian behavior to intentionally physically hurt each other, that each of us represented the body of Christ, and that when we hurt one another on purpose, it is the Lord’s body we are willfully injuring and afflicting. I could tell they weren’t really receiving my admonishing even though they stopped – honestly, what alternative did they have? I was the one in authority, so they ‘knuckled under’ at my reproof. But it continued to trouble me deeply that they obviously weren’t comprehending the seriousness of the spiritual impact of their actions with each other. To them it was a game; no big deal at all. UNFORTUNATELY, I figured that since I couldn’t get through to them, surely Susie with all her wisdom could (an erroneous assumption I regret to this day). Big, Big Mistake! So I proceeded to put the situation ‘on report’ mistakenly confident that Susie would be able to help the boys understand exactly why the Lord’s people must not inflict bodily harm upon one another, which I felt I had failed to do. I repeat: Big Huge Mistake! Horror of horrors! When that report got to Susie, instead of her using the scriptures to patiently and tenderly explain to the boys the offenses of their behavior, she and Tony showed up at the school, unannounced, with a handful of BIG brothers to physically intimidate and get a strangle hold on the situation – what nightmarish irony. In my heart, I always blamed myself after that for the 180 degree turn of events that things took for our kids (talk about paradise lost!). Without a doubt, from then on it was torment to all within hearing (myself included) when those nerve shattering swats got doled out followed by pitiful shreiks and pleading screams. From then on we had a physically powerful brother ‘in-resident’ in the 4-room school house as the dispenser of corporal punishment under the flimsy guise of ‘teacher’. Let it be known, that was the beginning of the unleashing of physical abuse upon our precious and innocent children. Most likely that was the initial opening of the ‘Pandora’s Box’ which has ultimately spawned the unbridled insanity ruling that demonic stronghold of every unclean and foul bird’s roost, i.e. tony alamo christian (NOT!) church (NOT!). WCO - I remember being in class with Harold and we were seated in a row (one behind the other), there were 4 of us in that class. To the left of our room was a little classroom with a glass window (probably an old office or something), Don Wolf taught in that little classroom and we were not allowed to look at them in there at all. I mean, not even turn your head. You were to look straight ahead. Well one day, while Don had stepped out of the class, Harold turned his head and looked into the classroom. BIG MISTAKE!!!! When Don returned and found out that Harold had turned his head and looked into the classroom, he was beaten with a huge board while he had to keep his hands on his desk and not move. This was done right in front of all of us, still sitting there frozen in our seats. All because he turned his head, imagine that! | ||

If I had ever known about those horrendous beatings, when Harald was still there, I don't know how I would have reacted, besides with anger, at the fat boa constrictor and the venemous rattler (those FAKE PASTORS) I hadn't known about the paddling for looking into a room !! tut tut, what an unforgivable sin, to gaze into a room. ( thanks to you also, Beads ) those two were so far from what they professed to be, toni and susan alamo ( are you reading this, Floridian ?? ) I never knew till YEARS LATER about those snakes showing up at the school in Dyer, for the purpose of dishing out beatings !! What scary lives these children have had !! even in the completely dysfunctional home I grew up in, we at least got paddled for a good reason. both of them had to have been so consumed with "bloodlust" that paddlings must have really turned them on... what a couple of DEVILS !!!!! You see, thats the kind of control Tony (and then Sue)had & have over their followers. They think they are doing what is right. They think that this is what God is telling them to do. I mean the Bible does say "spare the rod, spoil the child", right?? When there was talk about opening up a foundation school, we knew our lives would never be the same. We went to public school until the 4th grade and then we were put in a Baptist Christian School for one year until the foundation school could be started. I think the beatings began because T&S didn't know what to do with these kids who were growing up and starting to maybe think for themselves. Would they start to question their lives? Would they figure out they we are cons? So in order to instill fear and complete control over us, the beatings began... | ||

Well, N.S.M., I only know that I was angry when I heard about the "slumping incident" and I find this one very disturbing, to say the least. was susan alive, when that happened ?? (looking into a room) Was that Don Wolfes' own power-trip, or did the snakes order it ? What a demented school that must have been !!! you guys must have been kept in perpetual terror ! WHAT on earth was in that "secret room", anyway ? you would imagine that toni and some 12 year old girl were in there, huh ? sheeesh, what a mindless punishment. and here he was, an A student. since H.B. wasn't really "a big troublemaker" (at least not to my knowledge) maybe they just wanted everyone to recieve a few swats, because we were ALL to fear the snakes and their asinine rules, and subsequent punishments for breaking them, right ?? I'm not so sure I wouldn't have been mad about that beating, because there was no rhyme or reason to it. I never had liked susan alamo, and if I had ever heard about the Dyer beatings or Spec house beatings, I think I just may have taken off with Harald. not sure, though. that stuff went on ages ago, and my whole mindset was very, very different from today. I do know of very bad reports on kids ( things I did as an unsaved teenager, but without being CAUGHT !!) if I HAD been caught, doing what they were caught at, I would have been dealt some really severe retribution. If the kind of thing I'm thinking of, had happened with him, I really believe I would have agreed with the alamos, that he needed some swats. but the facts still remain...he looked into a room, and slumped in his seat. | ||

So sad the way things turn out.... I really rejoiced when we first opened the school. I remember researching various designs of schools and visiting several christian schools in Ark. in order to do the best design I could. (Of course, it was "watered down" on orders of T.A. to save finances don't ya know...). I was especialy happy when I heard that Carolyn and Charlene and Dale G. were teaching.Like everything the Alamos touched it started out as silver and quickly turned into dross... | ||

If they want to cut down the curriculum to just Math and English. Math makes everything allot easier I think. They should do everything to prepare the kids for college. Lots of math and word problems. The Math teacher start get them a couple Grades up. Dale G. would have been good. They need Spanish. They need to do well on the SAT. No chance. too bad. Kids take to computers also, learn quick. The could eventually do web programming. -Mix | ||

Mrs Pryor It has been a very long time since I have posted on here. For the most part, it is because I was just a kid, and didnt know any different. I have to thank you for standing up for us. You were my teacher as well, and I know you did your very best. My brother Darren, and many others, suffered abuse for years at the hands of "BROTHERS" there. I will never never never forget the sounds that echoed through our small school as the boys were beaten. I have cried for years over it, and it will always be with me. I do my best today not to let it be my life, and my brother Darren to this day is my very best friend. I will defend him until the day I die. I am not a hateful person, and I believe in God as best I can. I await judgement day...Tony will get his. We "kids" will get our justice because God loves us, and Tony Alamo cannot take that awy from us. | ||
