floridian, Morning guy, I was looking back at the time the that I got saved at the church in Saugus, I felt my calling. I remember how I knew blood was washing through me before the word blood was spoken. I stayed the for seven years. There was a point a which the heavens became brass I had contend and contended. I had to pace back and forth in case I fell asleep. I was keeping the commandments but something was wrong there and it vexed my spirit. There was a time when I heard Susan say in confidence to someone: "You know we are a couple of smart Jews out to make a fast buck". I knew by what she further said that no one did. I saw to much control and had to thing of getting a career. I went back to learn a trade. They knew I was leaving an Tony said he never finished high school which I found odd. I told Susan I wanted to leave and got Susan assisted me at that point. I worked and put my earnings in "money marketing funds I finished college "After college. I worked different jobs and the finally got to a career which was computer programming. Worked at that for five years. I had prayed people through using the sinner prayer. But after that I was blocked by something. I couldn't put my finger on it, I contended but the sky was BRASS. To make a long story short I found this forum and the just flooded down on me and follows me now. I have had visions then but there is no doubt that they are from that Lord. I ask god and he speaks to me. I try to spirits "Any spirit that denies Jesus is come in the flesh is of god(you know the rest). Tony used to tell everybody that if they left they would not make it. THEY HAD NO future out there. A want the about the Lord now after that boring story. The Lord and my walks in God. We won't have screen names or our own names in heaven but a new on right? Floridian, There are not allot of us here to answer you 2 or 3 and work at different jobs as things change we go home or are at an office. I have a software program that need to be written. Some times people looking for a sister or brothers is from a marine elite force and want to take matters in their own hand and we tell them no. I thought if I left she would die. It was like: God why did you say leave? Did I do something wrong I asked Myself? "No." I would hear while in the spirit. The voice of the father was a quiet one?(WAIT ONE MINUTE) Tony said it was LOAD!!!. I saw things were not right and the Lord heard and saw how hard I asked. The Lord wanted me to leave and I did not. I, too, am very thankful that the Lord saved me on a beach when I was all by myself and no one was around. I give God all the glory for my salvation. Anchored, Yes, that is my testimony. I was lost and now am found. Everyone's salvation is special. In your case it was at Manhattan Beach. In my case it was at 1412. I am sure there are similar testimonies of many brothers and sisters that received a gospel tract from a foundation member. From that encounter it progressed to salvation. They are thankful for that. I believe I have posted the facts surrounding the end of my affiliation with the alamo foundation on this board more than once. However, let me give you the short version. I had a rather heated disagreement (argument) with tony. Of course during this exchange I "spoke my peace" so to speak. Well, tony as you know could not tolerate someone standing "up to him" or heaven forbid calling him on some inconsistent statements. As you could imagine, tony ordered my departure (I did not "leave")Hence, I received a free ride to the beautiful resort beach town of Santa Monica, California (where the mountains meet the sea). However, due to insufficient funds, I would live outside for awhile. As I recall tony instructed the brothers to give me 50 dollars. A very tidy sum for 18 years of service. As time progressed my financial situation progressed. Also, God has blessed my soul. Contrary to your statement, I have posted my views of tony alamo. Just recently regarding the untimely death of brother Greg Howard. I think it is very unfortunate the way tony is now. Joe, You are unfortunately very new to all this, and I still question the motives of a total stranger to want to have anything to do with helping Alamo members leave, especially since you now say that your sister was in some Mormon place, and not Alamo. But, I'll try to believe that you are just a do-gooder. I have been working with the people in Fouke for a long time and have many friends there. Opening up a help center will be pointless. The people in the compound, never leave. They will not see any signs (Billboards are not allowed in Fouke). Am still waiting to hear from the moderators there,who I wrote to, since all his literature says feel free to copy and distribute worldwide. The spiritual perks in this calling are for me: 1. Upon awakeding my heart gets instant thrown access through the holy spirit(remember how we would contend so hard because we in the wrong place ) 2. True understanding of the scripture. To the full depth. 3. Strength, boldness laughter. Knowing the lord loves me and loving the Lord right back. 4. True fellowship with enlightened people not those under control of the PERV & PERP. 5. The Lord himself tells me of matters. I don't have to ask tony if this or that was of the lord. And much, much more. Before I came out of that church I had to face some facts. I was defending TA not serving God. I was guilty by association with the group. That the joint was a bad testimony to people. That passing out gospel tracts with Tonez madness made it all look crazy. And I had to admit that I was in denial. That I could'nt just stay in that place because it was convenient. I had to work 9-5 like everyone else. I knew also, as I have mentioned, when Susan died things would go south. Yes, I do remember how we would contend so hard when all the while the Lord was right there. He hears the smallest, faintest prayers of our heart. Although, I guess the Lord wanted us there for a while to go through the fire and learn what NOT to do, namely, NOT to act like or emulate that PERV in any way. We came out the stronger and plus we got to meet a lot of great people in the Lord. Glad they wised up too. By the way, the reason I can post on and off during the day is that part of my job is using my computer, plus I type pretty fast so I can pop in and out of here and get back to my job in seconds. Anyone remember Vince Borrowdale? He used to crack us up. He was a happy guy and, funny. He would have us ROTFL with laughter. We were in a reading group one time and we were reading Genesis and toward the end of the book where it tells of Jacob taking his journey down to Egypt to see Joseph with all of the children of Israel/Jacob and his twelve sons and all of their chidren and then it names all the sons. It was Vince's turn to read a chapter and he got down to Benjamin and his sons and two of their names were Muppim and Huppim. He just couldn't keep a straight face and kept repeating Muppim and Huppim's names doing that cool hippie thing he would do with his head and neck. He said something like now there's a couple cool names for twin boys. He just had us all in stitches. God really does have a sense of humor. It was nice to have a little levity along our journey. Good thing there were no gnat strainers in the group to turn the whole thing into a negative. I always liked Vince. He wised up a long time before we did and got outta town.
