Accos: This is a shortened version of "false accusations" At the foundation we would just say "accos." RGB's: I am sure many folks can remember this. "Anybody seen Woody?": This was very secret question spoken loudly by tree crew bros. Any bros remember this? Fuma or Fumalakachuma: Anybody know the origin of this? If not I can write what I heard although it could be an urban legend. I am sure there are many more if someone could post. However let's refrain from hijacking this thread to post about you know who. There are other threads for that. Stay on topic and everyone will be happy. |

Here's one that comes to mind: "spirit of lethargy" : was referred to as being possessed with a lethargic (sleepy) evil spirit, evidenced by falling asleep on prayer hours, during services, nodding off while driving, etc. It was a punishable offense. The term was meant to disgrace the offender. It was not taken into consideration that we were all horribly sleep-deprived and not functioning at full capacity. We often went long periods without sleep and then add tony alamo's droning, ranting, bragadocious sermons to the mix and that equals falling asleep (for which we would be punished). Donos = donations Pick-ups = food acquired either by donation from supermarkets or dumpster diving. zoo-zoos = sweet foods, pastries, candy "in the world" = referring to yourself before you were in the alamo group or to outsiders. Floaters = kitchen overseers who held control of the food |

'The group' was the 70's style supervised house arrest for a 'chargeable offense' like walking on a fleshly mopped sanctuary or talking out of turn, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc. 'The group' may well have been the predecessor of the future corporal punishments of smiting, slapping, etc. Group time usually included menial labor, often that of kitchen duty. The processing, chopping, and segregating of partially rotten fruits and veggies obtained thru 'pick ups' was done mostly by 'the group.' This bacteria laden affair lent itself to impetigo breakouts as being rather commonplace. Of course, Tony and Sue, were deservedly consuming the hand picked gourmet and heathfood entrees out of sight, out of mind. I used to believe, as I was told, that Tony just fasts so much, is why he never would eat our food, but truth was, he was not about to touch that crap! |

Heynow my guess, Fuma has Japanese origin-'Fuma Kotaro' Fuma was taken to mean a Ninja or spy assassin. Sengako period of Japan. Between 1392 -1568 CE?.Martial Arts and such. Foundation speak: Warrior for God. When you said that word around Neal Payne he would laugh. Because he knew of allot. I mean 3 languages Mandarin, Chinese. I remember him closing his eyes consulting his encyclopedia brain. I wish I knew what became of him(Tell me). He was such an interesting brother. But a Fuma was/is an aggressive servant of the Lord. A real hey buster kind of dude. example-Chuey Aberto I looked this up. Now I'm interested in Japanese history. It caught on for sure. -Mix |

Fumalakachuma: Does anyone remember Ritchie Cunningham character from "Happy Days"? Anyway in the TV series Ritchie's father was in the "Lodge" and his aspirations were to be promoted to "fumalakachuma". This was a high position in the lodge. Okay anyway we used to watch this show at the foundation and the fumalakachuma word kinda mixed in with the foundation lingo. Where was it first used in the foundation? Now for a little urban legend. We were on the tree crew and some U.S. Forestry big shots showed up on the scene. One guy in particular seemed very important. This prompted Jim Macartney (jimmie magrew) to ask; "Who is that, the fumalakachuma?" From there the fuma lingo was born. |

Floater: More background on this title. Someone came up with the idea of having kitchen crews that would alternate days in the kitchen. I think it was something like two days in the kitchen and then one day off for witnessing (or something like that). Anyway each crew always worked together. There were ranks in the crew like: Cook one, Cook two, Cook three, and Kitchen Overseer. "Cook one"would oversee the peeling and "Cook two" and "Cook three" would do the actual cooking. The crew "Kitchen overseer" would supervise the crew. The crew would always cook on their assigned crew cooking days. However the "Floater" was a rank higher than "Kitchen overseer" in that the floater was not assigned to any specific crew but, would "float" from crew to crew, regardless of the crew assignment. Hence the title "Floater". |

I don't want to be put back into the crash-crew !!! LOL "that's all folks !!" WORM |

I have a request. Some of these Foundation sayings were unique to the group of people using them, such as tree crew brothers, etc. So if you post, could you also define what you are referring to, cause some of us have NO clue. And if other people are reading the board that weren't in the Foundation they really have no clue. Such as: "Anybody seen Woody?": This was very secret question spoken loudly by tree crew bros. Any bros remember this? (what's that all about?) Bakes = Bakersfield, CA where we worked in the fields for years, hard manual labor, hoeing cotton, lopping roses, picking grapes, pruning grape vines, picking olives etc and turned all our earnings over to Tony and susan alamo. Motionless prayer: It was a RULE you had to bob your head or shake your foot or some motion, something to prove you were awake during your prayer hour otherwise you went on report to t & s. 2545 = how we answered the 800 number at tony's house 8118 = how we answered the local line slothful box = if you left a personal item (toiletry or clothing) out for more than 15 minutes it would be put in the slothful box and be up for grabs. set out = anything up for grabs, mostly relating to food. |

Here is the saying that reaches the summit of culting. You ready? "GIVING GLORY TO THE DEVIL" - Any backsliding between the day you were saved and the day you testified. Say if(hypothetically) I got saved and I needed to see my sister who was dieing. Enter ALAMO(WOE)let the dead bury the dead. If that sick Frog1 could divine you had money watch out. As in Tony followed the money. If this involved the death of the father and inheritance that slime ball would grease ya into his favor. Oh, you were special. We know all that. |

Here's an all time favorite: "Taking the mark of the beast in you HEART" If you we leaving before the miracle which never happened, then, you got it. This is believed to be a mark on your hand or in your forhead. But both T&S said you were just waiting for HELL. |

Wilma, RE: "Bakes"; We never actually worked in Bakersfield. The whole San Jouquin Valley was referred to as "Bakes." If you were working in the fields, anywhere from the grapevine to Sacramento, you were working in "Bakes." Greg Seago (who was from Bakersfield) used to get frustrated with that. (That was one good brother, who I never would have guessed, would be going along with what Tony is doing now.) BTW-The "carrot factory" did not make carrots. LOL That was the packing plant for Belridge farms. But-- The cotton gin, was the cotton gin. |

Wilma, Also: "Anybody seen Woody?" That is referring to Tony Wood, aka; Woody Bird, aka; Woody I don't remember the phase, but they were probably just busting his chops. He was always a crew chief, and was probably out talking to an inspector. Ligit of course, but the bros would cut you no slack. LOL |

Circa 1971, 'cut me some slack, and get off of my case', was the retort for the 'gnat strainers' lying in wait ever ready to whip out the report pen at every turn of the slightest human imperfection. Animosity pitted brother against brother in this mote pulling extravanganza, only serving to thwart community progress, human perspective, communication, charity and diplomacy amongst the membership due to the Alamo dictatorship that intended those manipulated results to unfold into as distant a relationship as possible. A close comparison would be the Hitler youth that were indoctrinated to report anything said that was unpatriotic about 'Deuchtland' and the 'Furher.' Turning in parents to the secret police that spoke a word out of place was commonplace. An entire generation of hoodwinked rogue nationalists was started, but thank God that became debunked in the bunker. Hitler went looney toons when those walls started talking back. Boom, boom, boom! The Alamo camp appears to be severely dumbed down after so many years, frozen in time. Thank God for all our deliverance!!! |

Anybody seen Woody? was a way to alert the brothers that an inspector was onsite and they should make sure their trees were planted correctly. Tree crew bros could be real gangsters at times. Callin' the cops was a Bargo phrase that got spread around. It didn't have a specific application, you had to be cool, like Bargo, to know how to apply it and what it meant. Like "that shirt was so tacky, somebody should call the cops". |

Heynow, perhaps went off on a stinkin' tangent a bit, but these 'stinkin' threads are rather inextricably intertwined, for stinkin' purposes we are all aware of. To just take all stinkin' foundation lingo out of context would be rather simplistic, don't ya stinkin' think? Whereas the big stinkin' picture is that some of these colloquialisms, but not all, have demonstrated the stinkin' origins of the pathway of the dangerous stinkin' cult that the foundation has become from that embodiment of the Alamo heretical tort law, like 'straining at a gnat.' True, not all cutsy expressions were thus stinkin' red flags of that proliferation, and were merely adaptaions of the indigenous survival mode we were all stinkin' faced with, but the expressions were accompanied with our stinkin' willingness to stay and accept a continuing denial of the stinkin' complex monster lie that the cult was undergoing in intensification, led by 'you know stinkin' who.' We all have to honestly accept some responsibilty for receiving some blindsidedness for putting our eyes on that stinkin' flesh so much of the stinkin' time, at that stinkin' time....OT? OK? |

Heynow, Cut us some slack. :-) You can chose not to mention tony alamo but if others of us chose to reference him while recollecting "Foundation speak" that is our option. (no offense intended) One of the characteristics of a cult is to have its own lingo that only they "get". We at the Alamo group certainly had ours. Here's another catch phrase: "giving up right before the victory" = Someone would leave the Foundation and then it would be said "he/she gave up right before the victory." Even after staying 25 yrs when I left and later had a phone conversation with one of the girls there she said to me " you gave up right before the victory". As far as I can tell they still do not have the VICTORY. They are living a miserable lie. (That sister has since left the group too...Hurray!) Skirting the trees = that's when certain brothers would run ahead and pick the most easily accessible olives off our olive trees that had to be thoroughly picked, boosting their quota and making the sisters job harder. (shame on them) |

agree with wilma. I wish some people would stop trying to be the board moderator or "overseer" lol. Get over yourself. This is a public forum. The discretion of the Factnet Board Moderator is sufficient for monitoring what is appropriate posting. Sorry, didn't realize you were asking me specifically. Thought you were asking anyone in general. I didn't answer simply because I would have no idea what current living conditions are like in "Bakes". Furthermore, I don't think the foundation has done "Bakes" for years, but don't know for sure. When I was there 30 some years ago, as far as where I stayed, the closest thing I can compare it to would be army barracks. That's all I remember. Hope I helped. |

Joe_Bama, please don't be offended if your answers don't come immediately...the reason is simple, while you are posting, as many as 2 or 3 people are typing away, answering another post !! simple as that. we commuted to Bakersfield, it was 3 and a half hours away, I remember traveling there in a truck, lying on HOES, trying to get some zzzzzs, we ate at around 4 a.m., in saugus, so we must have gotten up at around 3- 3:30. we, the sisters, lived in cramped quarters in a hick town called Wasco, Ca. (farming town) MICE were running rampant through the houses we stayed in...as a matter of fact, one of the sisters woke up to a cat, crushing a mouses skull, on her PILLOW !!!! more later Worm Can Opener |

Wilma, If you read what I wrote in the intial thread you can see I specifically mentioned no "tony" stuff. If you want to talk about him (or mention him) there are 20-30 threads to choose from. I anticipated this will be one of only two threads where tony alamo has been totally banished, kicked out, and given the left foot of fellowship. Don't need his name mentioned here. He has already been discussed at length. Anybody that wants can continue posting about him on the other 99% of the board. This is fun stuff here. Continually rehashing tony is not my idea of fun. I am sure everyone reading this will agree with me. |

joe_n_bama, Hang in there Joe. You will have to understand that we have gotten all kinds of people from the Alamo group coming on here and posing as interested citizens. It's the internet and we can't be sure who we are talking to so people are skeptical and cautious. Alamo people may just come on and fish for what information we know. That said, as long as you are asking questions that pose no risk I'm sure many people will be happy to answer. As far as compound locations: some that I am aware of are FT Smith and Fouke ARk; Moffett and Muldrow, Ok ; New York City and across the bridge in NJ (can't think of the city); Saugus, CA near Los Angeles. Bakes was happening all throughout the 1970's so is a thing of the past. There are volumes written here already about Alamo. Scroll down to the bottom thread entitled OLD POSTS and you will learn a lot. If you have a specific question I'll be happy to answer if I can. No one here is afraid of Tony Alamo. He is a disgusting excuse for a human being. But neither do we trust him and will not open ourselves up for his attacks either, hence the caution. I hope this helps. I have a few questions for you. How long has your sister been in the group? Does she have a family in the group? Do you hear from her? Do you know what location she is at? You do realize by posting on this board you have set your self up as an enemy in Tony's eyes and she probably will have no further contact with you? What else can you tell us about your sister? Talk about flyin' off the handle! Understand that hyper self sensitivity is akin to lack of self esteem and self pity. Get a life, Joe o' bama, find some decorum and protocol, and then you may get positive audience to your queries on here. |

alan, jack, and all, I don't want to be any kind of factnet monitor, but please, don't be too quick to jump on newcomers. I believe joe_n_bama is ligit, as well as heavensangel. Let's say I'm wrong. It is still the best opportunity to tell the truth with honesty and sincerity. Remember, the simple sincere truth is the one thing Tony Alamo fears most. We don't have to tell them when the next raid is coming. That's my two cents. Tom |

Joe_n_bama, I live in Fouke and if we thought a help center would work it would have been opened long ago. I have tried many times to figure out a way to let those people know we want to help them but they are so isolated from the rest of the world, we can't get near them. They have been taught to fear us. They think we are the devil. It breaks my heart. |

yes I am sure that the devil would like me to leave But God says no,and this is for you Brother Joe Bama,John 2:15,And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; I do not think it I know it,but who am I gonna listen to? a bunch of factnetters, who want to go on and on,instead of Going to church there, jack russel you have always been a wimp.If you are allowed to go to church there than Go,you dummies only a few simple request, for you to keep,No unessary getting up and walking around during services, and if you have any questions, please save them till after services where a brother or sister would be more than happy to answer it.You follow those simple request everything is fine.if anyone in the church does not want to abide by those simple rules they can not be there put them on report and if the pastor does not want to follow those simple little rules them bring him before the church, and if the pastor does not want to hear the church, then by any law in the land he will be put out,for some of thoes judges sware by the bible too,and true judgement they will imply. The whole world is waiting for the manisfestation of the Sons of God and I AM A SON OF GOD.Who can stop me? and who can seperate me? from the Love of God, Well who,no one here no one anywhere, but I will tell you and all of you people who say that they seem to know ,It is yourselves |

John 15:13,Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 20:31,But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. Proverbs 17:5.Whoso mocketh the poor reproacheth his Maker: and he that is glad at calamities shall not be unpunished. Galatians 6:7,Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Jesus Christ, the Son of God. What can wash away my sins ?(yours, mine ours)Nothing but the Blood of Jesus. What can make me whole again,(you,me,all),Nothing but the Blood of Jesus, and remember all, when you see someone that you say is all jacked up or is a thief or anything that you feel is againest the true spirit of God,do this for their soul my soul or any souls, John 14:13, And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. |

Another Foundation-Speak phrase was: "Going thru the fire" This was used to mean you were suffering in some way, being "tested", or maybe even fighting off "accusations". In the 90's J. Hunt was doing some buying and selling and had a little route that he did everyday to sell his wares. No one could drive alone and Les Wood was appointed to be Jim's "rider". One day J Hunt cracked me up when he quipped "I prayed for more "fire" and I got Les Wood." You gotta love Jim's sense of humor! LOL |

Hi Wilma, I remember jim Hunt. Where is he now? How about this one "Crucify the Flesh". I remember a former sister actually bitting her arm. I guess she was having feelings of a taboo nature. Well, nature was taboo then unless you were Frog1. I mentioned the "Mark of the Beast" before. That is what the members are afraid of. That is what keeps them here with a half-hearted hope that they can fight it. First of all they are not fighting the beast since they don't know what it really is. They are not the only ones concerned since someone wrote the material. Second they don't understand Scripture. The sybolism even applies to 144,000 men from Zion with the name of their God written in their forhead. God's doing it too!! Tony always avoided that scripture. Tony created the false anti-christ. The true one is not a pope. He is jewish or one claiming to be jewish from the tribe of Dan. Who decieves the elect(Israel). Paul wrote it not me, not TA It also appears in the Torah also. -Mix |

I remember Jim Hunt in L.A. County General.I went to visit him with my Mother. He had burns up and down his body and was loaded with drugs they'd given him because they were about to "wash me" as he told us.That was ,according to him, very painful to him to say the least.I remember I felt so bad and prayed for him so much back then.I'm so glad he recovered and is such an energetic success now!!Thank you Jesus!! |

Modesto, continue to pray for Jim. Linda told me in 1990 that he has to wrap his legs up in tight ace bandages. burns are really monstrous. I feel so sorry for people who get them. after that happened to Jim, he said "now I see why God put fire in the pits of hell" |

(Brother or Sister)Here is a tract to read,(receiver),Oh what is it about, (Brother or Sister),It pretains to where your soul could spend eternity,. These simple lines taught to me,by brothers and sisters,I use today, and I see that it is so simple, that it has to be God scripted, when it is Spirit led.I still use these very same simple speech, and God has me pray people through right where ever we are.Just yesterday God had me pray with two ladies right in the check out line,in a target super store while others stood in line ,and the others who looked on might have even prayed the prayer also. so in all truthfullness the foundational speak is,you must, and have to shine even more, out in the world, and when you do you fine out that, you are allowed to shine even more, without encumbrences, for yes there are tares in the wheat, and there is some who tried to find fault in Her teachings, concerning that great speckled bird. Whats in your heart? (Message edited by floridian on September 08, 2007) |

Joe Bama, You posted this: " im only wanting to find out some things check me out im a potatoe farmer from dutton alabama i also grow watermelons" I don't really believe any one that claims to be a potato farmer will not be able to spell potato. Why don't you tell us who you really are? |

Anybody remember Rondele Cheese? Yes, I actually "bought" rondele cheese after I left. Really good stuff. How about Alexander Scourby? How could we forget him. He was an also an actor. I saw him in a twilight zone episode. He was also in that classic film "GIANT" with Elizabeth Taylor, James Dean, and Rock Hudson. |

I have the Bible on cassettes, and they're Alexander Scourby ! it's so nice to listen to them while I'm doing some kind of busywork, like making bracelets, ironing or sewing. Surely that's one guy who went to heaven when he died. He started out with "Talking Bible records for the BLIND", what a merciful, thoughful thing to do, we know the Lord loves it, when we help the blind, fatherless and widows. He must have been a great guy ! Does anyone know where I can purchase a German Bible that matches my set of German Bible tapes ? I have one Bible, but it doesn't correspond to my set of tapes. the tapes say; Nach Martin Luther Ubersetzung. My Bible is a REVISED wording of the Martin Luther's Bible. |

canopener, There are some links about Scourby. This is an Alexander Scourby quote: ...it is the one book that has the power to inspire, encourage, comfort and change the life of the person who hears it. I know this because during the many years since I narrated the Bible, numerous people have written thanking me for creating such a beautiful reading. I have been greatly humbled and moved by the many letters I have received from people around the world telling me how God used the Bible narrations to change their lives and the lives of their loved ones, encourage them in their hour of need, and even healed them as they listened to the Words of Life." The rest of the info from this particular link is at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_Scourby |

Mixter, You were asking about Greg Patterson. Last I heard he was living in Fort Smith. No, he is not connected to the foundation. |
