"INSTITUTE OF GLOBAL PROSPERITY" CO-FOUNDER GUILTY OF TAX FRAUD

Defendant Concealed $40 Million in Sales in Bogus Trusts, Nominee Entities and Offshore Bank

Accounts

EDITORS NOTE: The Global Prosperity Group of Pyramid Schemes were the worst in U.S. history. These Pyramid Schemes specialized in teaching tax evasion and got innocent (but dumb) Participants jail sentences! Others lost their houses, life savings and even committed suicide because of this Pyramid Scheme. Thank heavens that they did not claim the Pyramid Scheme was an MLM program. They used the scummy Aussie 2 Up plan that is a pure pyramid plan in that it steals the first two participants in the pyramid scam from unwitting participants. I fought to expose these Scumbags in press (Boston Globe, Nightline and others) while feeding injured participants to the FBI. Great Xmas Present for me! Makes up for the death threats and bullet holes in my convertible!

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Lorenzo (Zo) Lamantia (aka Lorenzo Milano), a co-founder of the "Institute of Global Prosperity," pleaded guilty to felony tax charges of conspiracy to defraud the United States by impeding the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and tax evasion for the 2000 tax year in Seattle, Washington, the Justice Department and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) announced today. Lamantia's common-law wife, Kuldip Singh (aka Kay Singh and Kay Milano), pleaded guilty to charges of willfully failing to file income tax returns for 1999 and 2000. U.S. Magistrate Judge Mary Alice Theiler scheduled their sentencing for April 10, 2006 at 9:30 A.M.

On May 11, 2004, Lamantia and Singh, residents of Mountain Ranch, California, were charged-along with Global Prosperity principals Daniel Andersen, David Struckman, and Dwayne Robare with conspiring to defraud the United States by impeding the IRS. The indictment alleges that from 1996 until May 2002, the defendants operated Global Prosperity, an organization that sold audiotapes, CD's and tickets to offshore seminars on "wealth-building" strategies. At the seminars, vendors promoted bogus trust packages and other schemes advocating fraudulent methods of eliminating a person's income tax liability. Global Prosperity allegedly received more than $40 million from selling the so-called "wealth building" products and tickets to the offshore seminars. The defendants concealed income they earned from the sale of Global Prosperity products, in part by using bogus trusts, nominee entities and offshore bank accounts, into which they deposited portions of their profits. They transferred funds from the offshore bank accounts back into the United States through wire transfers and the use of debit cards.

Ed. Note: They also got a lot of innocent people put in jail for their B.S.! David Struckman is still awaiting trial and Darryl Struckman is still “disappeared” and on the Governments high popularity list! Keep reading! This next is amazing of how an ex Judge Scammed people! And they believed him!

Now Donald Trump is in a conspiracy to promote criminal fraud in Ontario targeting and sucking unwitting students into this criminal activity.

He will be in Ontario promoting a "Scamfest" in March. The other criminal organization he is endorsing has been operating in Ontario for some time. But the arrogant, and to borrow a MLM adage, L&L (lame and lazy) Crown attorney is "too busy with home invasions to worry about *[Donald Trump and organized] white-collar crime.

*[CrimeBustersNow editorial comments] after all who are these organized criminals the Crown Attorney now acknowledges exists in Ontario but he is doing nothing about???

Dave: Going after The Donald? Now that's some big fish. Better get in line behind Rosie. What exactly is the "Scamfest" he will be promoting in March and what is this organization you say he is endorsing?

Thanks

“The Donald” has endorsed ACN. The most comprehensive report we have that explains how this and many other "MLM" schemes actually work is the free report at

http://www.pyramidschemealert.org/PSAMain/news/MythofIncomeReport.html

Also, the article at http://www.falseprofits.com/Nonretail.html gives
some further insight into these very widespread scams.

ACN is in the same family as Amway, Nuskin and Herbalife. It promotes an income opportunity that is based primarily upon pyramid recruitment expansion. The phone services masquerade the real business which is pyramid recruiting. Income claims are false and misleading.

Since cell phones have wiped out a lot of the land-line long distance service, ACN has had to create a new "product." See http://users.tns.net/~mpat/scam/ It reveals that virtually no one will ever earn a profit from the actual retail purchases of ACN products/services except those at the very top of the scam.

See
http://www.competitionbureau.gc.ca/internet/index.cfm?itemID=441&lg=e

This I believe is the latest report from Canada's Competition Bureau. As you can see criminal charges were laid under the multilevel marketing (MLM) and pyramid selling provisions of Competition Act against ACN several years ago. Multilevel marketing is considered legal in Canada provided they do not violate the MLM provision or turn a MLM into an illegal pyramid selling scheme.

At the preliminary hearing into this matter last December (at which time a judge determines whether there is sufficient evidence to put the matter over for a full trial) the judge decided that the Crown did not produce sufficient evidence to show that ACN was operating as a MLM and as such he did not have to make a ruling on whether ACN violated the MLM provision or whether ACN strayed over the line to become a pyramid selling scheme. The Crown is now trying to decide what if any reaction it will have to this decision."

As far as I know, Canada did not pursue charges. Canada generally allows most such scams to operate here. Like many other countries, Canada generally will not prosecute a scheme that operates openly in the US, and most such scams do. Amway, Quikstar etc. However, that may change with the class action lawsuit launched January 10, 2007 in California against Amway and Quikstar and the rest they’re connected to.

As you will have read in the above, an incompetent or corrupt C.A (if in fact he is "pulling his punches") with all the millions in tax dollars at his disposal but being wasted on all these "crime-fighting" agencies, and at his disposal all the "kings" lawyers and all the "kings men" (RCMP) can't put together a simple case of obvious pyramid fraud targeting students.

Hell, I proved my case of pyramid fraud in the Ontario Superior Court within weeks of being served with an injunction to close our website. One might muse, what’s the matter with this incompetent “nimrod?!!!” It seems, he following in the footsteps of the other L&L (Lame & Lazy, or corrupt) Toronto prosecuting attorney “to busy to worry about white-collar crime.” And maybe it simply just true, these white-collar criminals have the multi-billions required to “stave off prosecution.” I believe a pretty good case has been made out supporting that proposition. Certainly the fact that hundreds of prosecutions that are simply being ignored and not processed supports that very proposition. …. i.e.(TTI closed by the High Court of England in five months, now money laundered into BIM and selling the absolute proven fraudulent “Little Green Petrol Pill”; TTI operating since Dec. 2003).

I was just in the middle of research on this "Scamfest." It seems Global Prosperity was apparently one of the "businesses" promoted at their pervious "Scamfests."

www.learningannex.com.

Again it's simple; no matter how big the kingdom and how wealthy the Emperors, THEY STILL HAVE NO CLOTHS!!!

Again in Canada it appears it will be left up to private citizens through the civil courts, to prove these scams are criminal, and bring these white-collar criminals down…. (and so far without the help of the Canadian media)…..Wanna help?

Honest John on August 2nd, 2007 at 5:29 pm

The people that are skeptical are right. ACN started 12 years ago but they were in a different business then. They used to sell gas and utilities, and were a reseller of long distance service. I think it was 1996 when they sold off their gas and utilities division and concentrated on long distance. During this time ACN became a pyramid scheme. What they have done is changed the business model of Amway/Quixstar and Excel and have hidden it by selling their product. Why do you think they have 3 former Attorney Generals on their staff? To make sure they do not break any laws nor can be sued for their MLM. The fact that they technically by the law do not meet the qualifications of a pyramid scheme does not mean they aren’t one. The cost to be a rep proves it- a whopping $500. Then there’s the cost of their products. Some of their products are competitively priced- others are way inflated. The fact is the above examples of success took a lot of time in most cases to reach a level of income where you could be financially independent. Another fact is, because of the legal team they have employed to keep them free of tanglements they will probably never get busted. They have done their homework to keep the pyramid hidden. That means this company will not face the same things that faced Amway or Excel. You can join them and be relatively at ease knowing you will make money without any ramifications. For those of you who are in it and don’t believe it’s a pyramid scheme I suggest you keep reading. It seems ACN is having troubles with the law in some of the countries in which they do business, hence the need for a powerful legal team which they have. The following was taken from Wikipedia:

On 19 March 2007, ACN France was found guilty and fined €15000 for its use of misleading advertising. Inspectors created a simulation which found that only representatives with a position of “Team Coordinator” or higher (less than 1% of total qualified independent representatives) could potentially earn a satisfactory income (defined as €1345 per month). The position below “Team Coordination”, “Executive Team Trainers” (less that 8% of total qualified independent representatives) could only earn a meager income or possibly lose money. Qualified independent represents consist of the representatives that have reached the level of “Team Trainer” or higher. [5]

On 15 November 2004, Australian Communications Network Pty Ltd (the Australian branch of ACN inc.) was investigated by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) for alleged breaches of the Trade Practices Act 1974 in regards to provisions in the act relating to pyramid schemes.[6] On 23 March 2005, ACN was found by Justice Selway to have participated in, promoted and induced or attempted to induce persons to take part in a pyramid selling scheme. A federal court appeal later reversed the earlier decision made by Justice Selway. The ruling indicated that the alleged “recruitment payments” did not fall under the definitions of the law. The ACCC was ordered to pay court costs.

SO found guilty in France eh!! Honest John???

David Thornton on August 4th, 2007 at 4:27 am

I repeat…. When you cut through the “smoke and mirrors” B.S., ACN is just another illegal criminal pyramid fraud in the Province I live in; Ontario Canada.

Donald Trump is a “snake-oil salesman.” Denounce ACN Donald, or as I demanded before; get your “criminal a$$” out of my country and leave our students in university, college and even high alone you dirty “Pied Piper of Corporate Corruption” and that goes for those “rats”…. the former Attorneys General reportedly on the staff of ACN .

And on that I stand on solid ground….. and I quote.

From the Editor of Macleans Magazine July 2007….. “Last week, my magazine, Maclean’s published as its cover story and interview with Philip Slayton, a former Bay Street lawyer and the former dean of law at the university of Western Ontario, who, after 41 years of teaching and legal practice, has written a book accusing his profession of failing its cherished ideals and working to the detriment of society.”

And that readers, describes exactly what we see graphically displayed in “this skin of the truth stuffed with a lie.” [Barry Minkow FDI]… that is The Donald and ACN.

“Mr. Slayton describes the world of Canadian law as miserable, amoral, obsessed with making money with fraudulent and unethical activity, poorly regulated and indifferent to issues of justice. In plain language, he argued that lawyers are rats, a phrase we chose as our line for the issue.” [Editor Macleans]

These ACN lawyers ARE indeed “RATS;” as the professor so accurately and eloquently describes them, or perhaps the larger and more cunning rodent; the “WEASEL” as they’re labeled by CrimeBustersNow. Takes your choice.

These fraud artists are not the only crooks using former government lawyers. The Sum-It Club of Woodbridge Ontario run by another “Legal Weasel” Tony Gagliese and his reprehensible sister Rocky and operating the same 2UP Aussie pyramid fraud as former U.S. Judge Rizzo and his wife now both “cooling their heels and fraudulent fingers” in prison, have for their legal counsel another “Legal Weasel” who was, believe or not, formerly employed at the Canadian Federal Competition Bureau.

That is where many of these formerly government employed “Legal Weasels” gravitate to; the wealthy crooks, money-laundering gangsters, scammers, liars and thieves. They don’t represent and assist the victims, for the simple fact that the victims have little or no money after being ripped off by fraud artists. And as a result, as the former dean of law so poignantly pointed out ….”Working to the detriment of society.”

Now the top “rats” in their “rat’s nest of corruption” at The Law Society of Upper Canada want to “regulate paralegals and agents” who attempt, at much lower fees, to assist the victims of the “rats” and “legal weasels.”

The Law Socierty cannot, nor do they want, it is evident, to discipline their own corrupt “Legal Weasels” and should be the last regulatory agency to attempt to regulate anyone. Again as the former professor pointed out….. “…poorly regulated and indifferent to issues of justice.”

And this contributes to, again as the former professor points out, “WORKING TO THE DETRIMENT OF SOCIETY.” ….. and that is exactly what ACN and “The Donald” are doing!

So again Donald Trump…. denounce ACN as a pyramid fraud or get your sorry “criminal a$$” out of my province and away for our youth as well as immigrants, single moms, desperate divorced dads, the financially unsophisticated, the financially desperate and senior citizens; you unconscionable money hungry, money grubbing degenerate.

If you don’t like it, have those “three blind rats” the “legal weasels” sue me for defamation in the Ontario Superior Court. I will “kick your a$$” like I did the two other pyramid “perfectly legal” “DULY INCORPORATED” international corporations Treasure Traders International & Business In Motion.” Dare you!!!

Note: February 09, 2007

CrimeBustersNow informed readers on this forum that ACN is a pyramid fraud. On March 19, 2007 (ironically the forth anniversary of the very day I was arrested on false charges as I was investigating the WEW pyramid fraud which turned out to be promoted by corrupt RCMP, OPP, lawyers, politicians, members of the judiciary, CRA, accountants, teachers, school board officials, etc., etc.) ACN France was convicted for misleading advertising.

The long slippery slope of pyramid Ponzi schemes??? Let observe if the shares in ANC, like Usana, will hit the “rocky road” trending straight down. Or suddenly tank perhaps???

P.S Stay tuned for the next pyramid-Ponzi scheme to be exposed and relentlessly pursued.
