I looked up that sight you provided but what do they do that makes it a scam? Many of these scams are very well camouflaged. But, if you persist you can get action even half way round the world then all the way back home; or certainly close. Canada is now getting surrounded with bad press and complaints. Specifically I received a call from a lady in Australia about Canadian Diamond Traders a pyramid scam in Toronto Ontario using diamonds that Canadian police know about but refuse to close down. They have hit the U.S. and all over the world even Russia. They are affiliated with AmCham the American Chamber of Commerce who are unconcerned about this fraud and threatened to take legal action against my website. Canadian Diamond Traders is one of most easily recognized pyramid frauds. It is exactly the same 1-2-4-8 or 4 tier pyramid fraud as Departure Central, the Women Helping Women, and the Nascar pyramids. It has now invaded your country according to the lady who was concerned enough about her family getting involved that she called our helpline in Canada advertised on www.crimebustersnow.com dave call Canada 905-963-3389. Note: the short length of time and straightforward no B.S. response. Warning issued over mail scams September 21, 2006 05:13pm Article from: AAP Font size: + - Send this article: Print Email THE NSW Government is warning people to watch out for two North American mail scams promising huge cash rewards. Fair Trading Minister Diane Beamer today told parliament that an illegal Canadian pyramid scheme and a get-rich-quick scam originating in Kansas were attempting to rip off people in NSW. The Canadian Diamond Trader scheme was being promoted as a multi-level gem marketing scheme and asking for an entry fee starting at $US100 ($A133), Ms Beamer said. She said anyone in NSW who bought into the Canadian scheme or encouraged others to participate could be fined up to $22,000. The fine for companies getting involved in pyramid schemes is up to $110,000. The other mail scam involves the Kansas-based Contest America Publisher, also trading as Opportunities Unlimited Publications, which promises a prize of $13,230 for those paying a $23 credit card entry fee and answering a question. Ms Beamer said more fees were required to progress, and there was a risk of credit card details being stolen. "Both scams lead you on with promises of large rewards from a small investment, but in the end they take your money and return you nothing," Ms Beamer said. |

ABC ONLINE Consumer protection commissioner takes shine off diamond scheme The Department of Consumer Protection has issued a warning about a pyramid trading scheme involving diamonds being promoted on the Internet. A company calling itself Canadian Diamond Traders is marketing the ploy, which involves people investing $100, then recruiting others to join. The website shows a pyramid diagram, with participants progressing through until they reach the top to achieve $3,000 and a diamond. Consumer protection commissioner Patrick Walker says participants risk being prosecuted if they become involved in the scheme. "At this stage, we aware of no-one ... who has actually ... participated. But we're very concerned. This is an attractive proposition. It's well designed, it's cleverly marketed - particularly with the lure of a diamond - and we think it could catch on," he said. dave www.crimebusternow.com 905-963-3389 24/7 we return calls in North America and 22 countries world-wide. |

It has to do with universal corruption. You learn from one in order to deal with others. Google search Barry Minkow. maybe you will get the idea. dave" (Message edited by gatordave on October 03, 2006) |

1st. Email below received yesterday. Now, Canadian Diamond Traders is an illegal money laundering pyramid fraud from Toronto Canada. One of their "affiliates" weeks ago threatened to sue our organization as did the American Chamber of Commerce who allows this fraudulent company to be a member of its now very questionable organization which is assisting CDT, through their membership in AmCham, in promoting this fraud in the U.S., Russia, Australia, and many other countries, including poor countries around the world. This is a quote from the CDT website. The premise is both absolutely false and misleading. But AmCham seems far more concerned with membership fees than fraud or ethics. FAQ".....Q- Is the Canadian Diamond Traders Program a legitimate program? A- Yes. Canadian Diamond Traders is a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Canada. http://www.amchamcanada.ca/aboutus/members_directory.php ----- Original Message ----- From: xxxxxx xxxxx-xxxxxx To: gatoraid@sympatico.ca Sent: Tuesday, October 03, 2006 3:38 PM Hi I am seeking information regarding the Canadian Diamond Trade. My husband is becoming very “involved” in this “industry” following in the footsteps of many (many, many, many) of his fellow “deaf” community members. This business endeavor resembles so closely a “pyramid” scheme but I cannot get anyone to accept these similarities. Is this legal in the United States? Where can I seek more information to discover if this is legit, or even legal here in our state (Arizona)?
