THE INACURATE LINK TO JOE VOLPE AND TONY GAGLIESE. CrimeBustersNow is committed to the truth and accuracy. To be otherwise is to mislead those you are attempting to sway. That is what cults and pyramid and Ponzi schemes; most if not all "Network Marketing" and "Multi Level Marketing" schemes engage in many with religious and cult like recruiting methods. To use accurate information or an element of the truth to then mislead is what CrimeBustersNow was created to expose. However, like any news and fact gathering organization mistakes happen. Mistakes are mistakes; what is done about them is the measure of credibility and integrity of an organization. The information that Tony Gagliese and his wife were the highest donors to the Volpe Campaign though accurate, within the context it was inadvertently used was incorrect and misleading. It has been brought to the attention of CrimeBustersNow that the Tony Gagliese who donated to the Volpe campaign as stated in the above post is in fact the cousin of Tony Gagliese that operates the pyramid scheme the Sum-It Club. In conversation with CrimeBustersNow it was explained that he has no affiliation with the Sum-It Club and little or nothing to do with his cousin Tony and the Sum-It Club and little knowledge of what his cousin is conducting through the Sum-It Club other than what he has read or has come to him through other sources. He recognized the service CrimeBustersNow is providing to the public and found it unfortunate that he and his wife and been inadvertently linked to the Sum-It Club and expressed concern that handled incorrectly could bring into question the credibility of our organization. Mr. Gagliese was extremely conciliatory considering the error and the strong language in the above post which would certainly be warranted if true. But it is not! He explained further that Joe Volpe is a long time personal friend of the Gagliese family. He did not admonish our organization for our stand against the Sum-It Club and in no way attempted to use this error as a “lever” to dissuade our organization from pursuing our agenda. His was a ‘let the chips fall were they may attitude’ and he merely wanted CrimeBustersNow to do what we can to correct the error and distance himself and his wife from the Sum-It Club. I assured him that we would do everything we could to do precisely that. Furthermore, notwithstanding any other criticism Joe Volpe has come under with regard to donations to his campaign he does not deserver to have conclusions and further allegations based upon that particular inaccurate information used against him. Half truths and exaggerations as I have always maintained can be worse than outright lies because they contain an element of truth. CrimeBustersNow has often criticized the mainline news media for twisting facts and withholding the relevant truth. Also the mainline media may err in bold headlines but print their retraction in regular type “buried” in a less prominent section of the media. We are loath to adopt such tactics. We made a mistake and want the truth known. If anyone finds this information repeated anywhere please let CrimeBustersNow know where. We will do our best to remove it or correct it.
