Does anyone know anything about this company, their tactics, reputation, etc.? They charge in multiples of $5000 for most their services. |

I'm blogging my experience with EduTrades (Teach Me To Trade, TMTT, Wealth Intelligence Academy, etc...) for all to see. I'm just a student that signed up for their courses. The reason I started the blog was so others, such as yourself, could have the question you're asking answered. I searched the net while attending a 3 day workshop with my father in early May, 2006 and couldn't find much information out there, neither good nor bad. I have paid a lot of money to EduTrades to take their courses and have some personal coaching/mentoring. You are correct, most of their services come in multiples of $5,000; check my blog for the total I've spent on courses and coaching. So far, my experience with them has been a positive one with only very minor complaints not really worth mentioning (slight delays in communication here and there, but nothing egregious). I can tell you their tactics seem well-founded, with thorough supporting evidence and facts to back up their strategies. There may be cheaper ways to get a similar education (eg: options books such as "Options as a Strategic Investment" by Lawrence G. McMillan, which is often referred to as the options bible), but the courses are well organized and well presented, especially for the complete novice, such as myself. The personal coaching/mentoring is expensive, but the way I see it, the personal touch is a very smart use of money, as having a mentor is like having a short-cut, helping to keep me from making blunders and tailoring the information for my style and level of trade. I've just started the blog recently and I'm trying to get the word out about it for the world at large to get a peak inside for what EduTrades is teaching and what my experience is as it unfolds. If their system holds up to their promises, you'll hear about it in my blog; if they don't work, you'll know that too. I post as regularly as possible about any relevant information, I hope you and others find what I'm blogging useful. -- Mark http://taocode.blogspot.com/ |

Hey that is awesome, Mark! Thank you for your blog. I can definitely relate, as I also have bit the bullet and am almost halfway through my coaching sessions. I am hoping that by the time I am done I will not continue to feel that I may have just invested in a money-sucking sinkhole, and that I might have done better by simply investing those thousands through a brokerage and then self-educating myself. I really do like the software service tho. |

Update: I'm beginning to Paper Trade using what I've learned to-date. Soon I, and everyone else who's interested, will know how effective what they teach is. After much contemplation, I've changed my blogspot URL. It is now: http://taott.blogspot.com/ (think/remember: The Art Of The Trade). Always nice to hear from another TMTT student: granite, I wish you the best. --Mark (Message edited by taocode on July 23, 2006) |

Just took the TMTT plunge, it was good to hear the courses are well organized and well presented. Looking forward to the first class, I’ll update you when I get back. |
