OPERATION SEA OTTER: Cracking the Clam

Objective: To raise awareness of the criminal cult of $cientology in the Tampa Bay area, particularly in the media, the business community, and the local and state government.

Method: A focused delivery of relevant information, sent en masse by activists and members of the online community to one individual or organization. A new recipient will be chosen each week.

NOTE: Be polite and professional in ANY communications with these folks. This project is NOT intended to harass, intimidate, or similarly pressure anyone. Flaming is the entirely wrong approach. Provide them with information, offer your reasoned opinions, and let them make their own conclusions.

MJ & BJ are the on-air personalities who lead the morning show for 93.3 WFLZ, which is consistently one of the highest-rated shows and stations in the Tampa Bay broadcasting arena. Their specialties are practical jokes related to popular news, including prank phone calls, "fax bombs", and parody skits.

They recently staged a publicity stunt at the Clearwater home of Lisa Marie Presley. Two of their assistants, Froggy and Uncle Fester, approached the house from the Intercoastal Waterway on a jetski, with cookies and flowers for the new Clearwater resident. The result was a confrontation with the security guards, and later, an arrest for disturbing the peace. Their ratings probably went through the roof.

At one point during the stunt, MJ or BJ mentioned that if Froggy and Uncle Fester had been $cientologists, they probably would have gotten right in. The DJ's are aware of Lisa Marie's chosen cult, but they could probably use some more information about $cientology for their show.

The best items to send these guys are the magazine articles and the humorous documents - OT levels, Best of Scamizdat, NOTS, and the like. You know, so the next time they go to Lisa Marie's house, they'll be able to talk the talk. ;)
