Like me, Bob Penny was a software developer. He was the technical mind behind FACTNet in their early days (1993-1994), before the internet exploded, when FACTNet ran as a BBS, and was already a pain in the ass for scientology. And without him, FACTNet no longer was the same. Bob had multiple sclerosis, and has been terminally ill for years. Unlike the late Robert Vaughn Young, the illness did attack his mind, which is why you haven't heard of him for years. Luckily, he has been cared for by two of his friends, one of them a well-known scientology critic, another a less-known scientology critic. (*) In his memory, browse through the small FACTNet kit: http://www.ecst.csuchico.edu/~atman/factnet/ or the factnet directory to their old website http://www.whyaretheydead.net/misc/Factnet/factnet.html or read his life story http://www.whyaretheydead.net/krasel/aff_bp96.html Tilman Hausherr (*) I'm not mentioning them at this time because I don't know if they agree to be mentioned. Some of us know who they are. -- Tilman Hausherr [KoX, SP5.55] Entheta * Enturbulation * Entertainment tilman@berlin.snafu.de http://www.xenu.de Resistance is futile. You will be enturbulated.
